First off, the photos listed do not even closely depict what this horrid and rundown place looks like in the adv photos.Upon our arrival, there were multiple stains on the cover sheets. Yet, we were charged half our deposit for a small, big red stain.As I walked around the premises at night, let's just say there were some concerning individuals and activity in the area. I felt unsafe walking in this area at night.Good luck with trying to close and lock the front door since it barely closes.If you book here- make sure you clean the entire room yourself or they will keep your entire deposit without hesitation for the smallest thing.

We were very excited the cottage had a pier and pool. Even though it had bad reviews. We gave it a chance. The cottages are older but we're decent no roaches. We had no toilet paper so I bought some. No problem. They never cleaned our room or gave us towels. I brought my own. No problem. But my grandchildren came by to swim. And the lady at the office said no because they were a n liability. So upset. She needs lessons on how to run a business and how to talk to people. Oh yeah they called the police said the lady owed 16.oo. the pier is not safe it had missing boards. We went econolodge pool. They were very nice. We swam in the poolDon't waste time and money

Um I don't even know where to begin. We knew not to expect much, but upon arriving it was completely disgusting inside. Fridge is completely rusted over, live roaches on the beds, trash in the trash can under the bag, behind the lamps and toilet, I'm pretty sure they didn't even Mop. Yeah it was cheap, but come on this is just unacceptable. The service dude seemed nice but I'm definitely making a complaint. We drove all the way from Colorado, and I'm terrified of roaches and bringing them back home 😮‍💨

rooms were older but clean no weird smells, nice to have access to the pier at any time (be careful when walking on it, some loos boards) plus they have an ice machine if you need to fill your cooler.You will have to leave a $50 deposit that you may or may not get back when they inspect your room upon check-out. Be aware if you stay here, to check your sheets, towels, and pillowcases for any little mark beforehand, when I checked out the lady said there was a black smudge on the sheet that we didn't notice because it was by our feet, if the stain didn't come clean when she washed them then she stated I would be charged! Then I notice after she refunded the deposit, she started writing down my whole credit card information on her copy of the credit card receipt. I asked for my card back before she finished, so beware check your room and make sure they do not take your credit card information after you check out!

It was DISGUSTING! We pulled up to this trashy run down place. Lots of people outside getting drunk. People actually live there. Junk all outside. We thought we’ll maybe the inside is ok. Negative! Dead bugs, nasty bathroom and the blankets were old and dirty. It looked like a dungeon. To top of off there was a black suv that had a man inside recording us with his phone. We walked in then right back out. We let the owner know that we would not be staying and he would not refund our money! It’s unsafe and very trashy! Do not waste your time or money! Thank goodness we were able to get a nice clean hotel at the holiday inn (it was late and we were sleepy)Rooms: Small and dirty. Very oldSafety: I did not feel safe at all

This was a guy’s fishing trip, we had two rooms two beds and and fold out sofa.It was clean and the AC was cold.Perfect for a family as well.The price was perfect, the location was perfect. The small pier across the street worked out for us at night.If your looking for a bunch of fancy amenities this is not the place but the rooms, price, location and owners are great.

Well it was small and cheap until they charged me 15 dollars a piece for the dogs. THE ROOM WAS NOT CLEAN. They change the linens that's it. They said because it was cheap they don't need to clean up like most motels. The hospitality sucks. . I could go on but it doesn't get my money back. They make you put down a 50 dollar deposit and check your room before you leave. Wow.

The cabins are old and very basic painted cinder blocks, brick, and drywall, but ours was clean. The location is right on the water, with a pier across the street. The owners were friendly. For what we paid, and what we read in the reviews, we were happy. No bugs--we did leave the lights in the front room on to discourage them, because I grew up on the coast and know some tricks. It was close to good food options and the Fulton Mansion. Overall, compared to the price range, we enjoyed it. If you grew up in luxury, you may not like it, but otherwise, its good.

Stayed 2 nights with my family. We had roaches crawling in the bedroom, bathroom & inside the refrigerator. Our box springs were broken, and our sheets were filthy. The refrigerator had a horrible mold smell. Our windows did not lock. The pier has live electrical wire exposed and the flooring is broken/missing. When checking in the owner admitted that she didn’t care if guess left horrible reviews, she wasn’t going to fix the broken windows (that were covered with plywood). A cash deposit of $50 along with a credit card was taken at check in, & at checkout the owner sends her husband to inspect the room. If its not cleaned to his liking the deposit isn’t returned. I forgot to mention that the pull out couch was stained horribly so i put the bed sheet on it so that we could sit down & watch TV. When inspected the husband tried blaming the stain on us. He was so upset saying he was going to keep the $50.My family & I will not be returning. & Its sad because the location is beautiful. The owners just do the care for their paying customers. They’d rather lose money then fix basic necessities.

I wish I could leave negative stars! This place was crawling with roaches, and bedbugs. The toilet was broken and the room was probably 90°. They tried to move us to another room that was in worse condition. We didn’t even want to bring in our luggage. Avoid this place at all costs.

Only stayed for one night, but had a great experience. The couple at the front desk were so nice. The location was great - next door to the Fulton Mansion, walking distance to the Windmill Tree, and right across the street from a pier guests can use for fishing or just watching the bay. There room gave us the basic necessities, which is all we wanted - clean, good beds, a shower, A/C, and refrigerator and microwave. If you expect fancy or perfect, you'll be disappointed, but for simple accommodations and a good "home base" for exploring the area, I recommend Bayfront Cottages.

I am extremely disappointed with this hotel!!! Arrived to the hotel and immediately saw people outside drinking and extremely loud music!! Trash everywhere!! Proceeded to check in and the office was just as bad!! The room was so disgusting! Roaches all over the place! The bathroom looked and smelled like a truck stop! Advised the manager and he TOTALLY DID NOT WANT TO REFUND ME MY MONEY!! TO THE PUBLIC!! DO NOT STAY AT THIS DUMP!! UNLESS YOU WANT TO CATCH A DISEASE!!

I’ll be honest I have not stayed but checked them out and interviewed a couple different guests for feedback. 3 star hotel with 5 star beds … really great place if you are here to walk to the action on Fulton or fish. Bait shops and fishing peer or charters walking distance. Nice sunrise and for those who spend vacation exploring the area this is a great value … 3 stars is probably too low

We stayed at least 2 weeks. When we checked in, our room was gross! The sofa had stains on it. The sheets on one bed had blood on them. The shower curtain was awful, I could of swore it had poop on it. This room was supposed to have a stove but it didn't. We did have a nice little refrigerator. Our kitchen sink faucet was broke. Maintenance did an outstanding job painting around the sofa and pictures; I would think the owner of this place would of at least made sure the wiring from the light fixtures was out of reach if not covered up out of sight. So as luck would have it we needed to stay an extra week and couldn't find another hotel. Our last week we paid daily. Each day we paid something different. 1 day it was $115 the next day $98 and so on. Weekend rates were as high as $170 and this place was a dump! Our last day the toilet overflowed all over the whole room. The Good things about this place were 1) Cleaning lady was super nice!! 2) The pool was clean, a little too much chlorine but i felt like I needed to be disinfected so that was ok. 3) Spectacular sunrise and sunset sometimes dolphins were feeding in the shallow waters and who doesn't love that?

this place was absolutely disgusting! me and my dad came here last week and what we arrived to was NOT up to the price we paid. we paid almost $600 for a 2 night stay to see mushrooms growing in the shower, black mold all over,broken air conditioners. and SO much more. i have plenty of pictures. they refused to give us a refund until we threaten to call the health department because i got sick. the owner told us that we had to go through booking.com to get a refund bc she couldn’t do it but before we even pulled out of the parking lot to and look at the email, booking.com called. this was a horrible ordeal and waste of money!!

FirstIts a old cottage.So if you want swank (for the area) go to the lighthouse.Ive stayed at both multiple times.Bayfront is budget minded.The rooms I have stayed in have been clean, comfortable beds, the owners are helpful and friendly.I will probably do a monthly rental when I start my beach house.Im not staying there to network ,just geet some rest.Killer views from the dock, good food walking distance.

Run down, dirty, exposed wiring on dock, rude, added 37$ after the fact on bill. Tried to make us leave an hour early. Roaches in the rooms if you need bait. Only 2 towels to ever room regardless if 4 people paid to stay. Generally I would avoid the place. Unless I was a fire inspector, health inspector, or ICE.

Growing up, we stayed here A LOT!!! It was so nice. This time, I am extremely disappointed. Door knob is practically falling off. One of our windows doesn't fully close. There is a dirty towel over one of the windows as a curtain. There is blood on the floor. Stains on the couch. No sheets for the pull out sofa bed. No trashcan. Shower head doesn't spray very well. They also did not disclose a pet fee when booking the room but then wanted to charge us after the fact. Also, the contractors who are staying in the bunk house tried to break into our car one night. Definitely NOT worth the price we paid.

An unfortunate disappointment; deficient hygiene run down hotel . The room was hot and derived a musky humid moldy scent. The medium size fridge smelled like rancid cut rotten bait; had to toggle the reset electrical outlet to run the fridge.. The beds have a sheet of dust on them along with stained comforters. The bathroom shower drain remained stagnant. Towels have not been thoroughly wash in some time; badly stained. The sofa picture speaks for itself. Im a hunter and fisherman, who would have done better roughing it on my truck camper for the weekend. Walked away even if meant losing deposit.

We have stayed here often, typically renting 3 or 4 cottages for 2 or 3 nights. Never again will I stay here. It was filthy. There was mold growing on the shower drain and walls. I was questioning whether I wanted to take a shower there, obviously I would need to buy cleaning supplies first, then I realized there was no hot water. Checked out and stayed at a much nicer motel for the same price!
