It was my first time at Texas Burger. The food was ok.. nothing really special. The burger was seasoned and the fries were seasoned adequately. I’ve had better burgers at different places. If you’re starving, can’t wait,and you’re traveling then this the place for you. The place was really worn down and it shares a space with Subway. A double burger cost 15.99 so it was really expensive. Will I be back?? That depends on if I really want mediocre burger..

The woman who took our order was trying to leave and asked her coworkers to please help us, no one listened so she came back in to take our order. She did up leaving after assisting us. I didn’t get her name but she did a wonderful job. The food was good. The environment is what made me leave 3 stars. Like other commenters have mentioned, there are a lot of flies.

Excellent customer service. I had a child that was upset during our visit and the employee who waited on us was great , she interacted with my child and let her know she wasn't the only one who had delt with her same problem in life. She really gave her encouragement and I'm forever grateful to her. More businesses need employees like her.Parking: Parking is a bit tight, but always has been at that locationKid-friendliness: I had an upset child and employee showed compassion and grace.

Haven’t been here in years. Thought we’d stop by on a Sunday for a late lunch. Not extremely busy (well after lunch rush) Took about 15-20 minutes to get waited on , then at least another’20 minutes to get our food. They were out of Rye bread and got our patty melt in Texas toast(which is the only reason I want a patty melt). There were flies everywhere ( alive and dead in the windows). Won’t be back to this location, thought the location in Cameron was bad, well the one in Rockdale is worse .

Love me some TX burger.Unlike some larger chains, each TX Burger has its own character. This location is a mix of small town burger shop and generic fast food.Rockdale has a drive through and, most unusually, an integrated Subway. The Subway gives families or groups extra options.But I go for the burgers.Parking: Parking may be crowded at lunch or dinner rush.

Can't say that I've ever had a worse experience at a restaurant in the history of ever. Was working in Rockdale, and decided to give them a try. I was the 3rd vehicle in line at 10:48 AM. It took about 25 minutes for vehicle #1 in line to get their order. I would have left already, had I not been blocked in by the vehicle behind me. "Maybe that 1st vehicle had a giant order or something?", I thought. 15 minutes later I finally placed my order and got up to the window, where I paid, was handed my drink, and told, "thanks have a nice day." To which I responded, "...but I haven't gotten my food?" "Oh yeah...we're still waiting on it." 10 minutes later I was told to pull around they would bring it out. So I pulled around to the rear and waited. And waited. And waited. After another 20 minutes, I went inside to be informed that it would be another 20 minutes. I threw my receipt in the trash and told them to forget about it. It's not like I ordered something weird that required longer wait time. I ordered a #1 with cheese, fries, & a Sprite. Maybe their burgers are so delicious that they are overwhelmed??? I'll never know, because I waited over an hour and paid $11 for a medium Sprite.

Waited 45 minutes for my order of 3 burgers to go. Got home half the order was missing. I will not step foot in this establishment again. If you are smart you will find another place to do business.

Passing through and made a random stop here to get a quick bite. I’m not familiar with the chain… but wow was it a great burger. Really nice soft unique bun, great beef and just the right amount of toppings. Happily surprised! I will be looking out for these in the future, and will definitely stop here when coming through again.

The food is good although they frequently don't read the ticket. I can't eat pickles so I always request "no pickles". Time and time again I get pickles on my burger. The staff has hardly any customer service skills. They don't acknowledge you when you approach the counter and then stand there staring at you instead of asking what you want to order.

FINGER LICKING GOOD!I WISH I HAD ORDERED A BIGGER BURGER.I ordered a single Bacon and Cheese burger with fries and a drink and I was sad that I didn't order more food.Don't get me wrong. The portions were good but the food was so delicious, I didn't want to stop.I could have easily eaten the double meat.The food did take a while to come out, we sat in the drive thru for about 20 minutes, but when we did get our order it was hot and fresh!I'm giving 5 stars even though they took long just because the taste was amazing.Go out and give it a try! Maybe call ahead!

Our food was hot, fresh, ready in a short time, and delicious. We got the sweet sourdough buns and seasoned fries. The place was clean (including bathrooms), and staff friendly. Nowadays I'm a little leary when I see a crew of young folks, but they did a fantastic job. Just got back from vacation out of state and stopped here on the way home. It was one of the more pleasant dining experiences we had all week!

Texas Burger your new assistant manager is the beyond hardworking, fast and helpful and knows how to handle a situation, I have been in here more than once in the evening times and she is busting her tail and making sure things are sanitized and stocked as well as making sure everything is okay and she is very understanding, she is a blessing to this place and they should be BEYOND proud to have her!!!! I will continue going to eat there with my family because she smiles and is professional and treats us like she has known us for years and our food is always fresh and delicious!!! Make sure you tip her because she is a 5 star employee and deserves to be recognized!!!!
