These dudes really drove to my house to find the stray dog I called about only to tell me they were full. What was the point in driving all the way out here. Common sense ain’t very common.

Wouldn't give out information on my dog they didn't give out when I asked for it. The person at desk was very rude says she didn't know anything about the animals there .So why? Is she there?

This place does the best with what it has provided by the government.Especially the volunteer coordinator. Because of experience, marketing skills she brings to this shelter and love for animals so many are saved, rescued and re homed!The volunteers work hard to do what they can to network, photograph and get these animals help. People would not know they are there otherwise and they would die!The communication that counts is about rescue and adoption.Do not say things about this place that could hinder these innocent animals by people not liking the facility due to your negativity.It’s about the animals and getting people to know they need rescue or adoption and sometimes they get reclaimed.The only thing that would help this shelter is more volunteers and funds for updating; and making this shelter a better living facility for the animals that do end up here. Please share the posts and volunteer if you can because there is always so much work to do for these precious lives.

If I could give less than one star, I would. They are rude and snarky when all I wanted to do was "save" a dog who was on death row by adopting him (only to find out that they put the wrong gender and name on their Facebook post). The poor pup had mange and hadn't had any care. She told me that they provided NO vaccinations, when their own website says they give the rabies vaccine. I still have the whole conversation on my phone, as it was via text.

This is absolutely the worst animal shelter around. They lack zero compassion or care. Lisa B is a power driven person who doesn't allow or assist in the care of rescue groups for the animals. This place needs to be investigated.

Dropped off an injured kitten today and the new manager was so kind, caring, and honest. It really felt like she was going to try everything she could to get the kitten the care it needed.

This is a kill-happy shelter, they kill their cats within 24 hours and reply snarkily and rudely to people that try to help. Do not give them money and do not give your animals to them. They should be shutdown.

Confused how this is listed as a government entity yet ran by a civilian volunteer? Seems like someone has really dropped the ball on oversight for this facility.

The people at this rescue are crazy! They do not care about the dogs! It’s all about numbers! They want to get them out but do not care what happens to them afterwards
