I have genuinely never reviewed a restaurant online, if that tells you anything about how bad this was.I drove by this Sunday morning for breakfast, ordered the Egg White/Avocado sandwich. The photo attached is what I received. Awful. The sandwich was soggy as soon as I received it, there was not a lot of avocado at all, and half of it was browned. The spinach was very wilted and the egg was hanging off half the sandwich. I just wanted a good breakfast..On top of that, I ordered the cinnamon crunch latte, which was watered down and only about 2/3rd of the way full.I’ve been to a couple of Panera Breads, never had this bad of a food experience. Probably won’t go back.

Got drive through took a long time- but order was right and seemed fresh. Unfortunately, when I got home we realized the bun was moldy!!!! I called and the lady said- not to worries she would go and look at the buns… no mention of my sandwich having to go in the trash or sorry- or a refund??

Second trip to this location, food was fast, hot and very tasty. Always busy around lunch, can be tricky to get in as the cross traffic can be insane at times. Friendly staff, great spot for getting a little work done as well..Hot tomato soup and a classic grilled and finished with a Carmel Latte... yummy ... Perfect for a rainy day...

Food is ok, however their prices at Uber Eats are way higher than if you order on their app or just go the store. A pick two runs for ab $17. Half a sandwich and soup!! No idea if this is intentional but I won’t spend my money there for this reason. Someone needs to fix this.

My experience here was immaculate. I came in the store around 5:40pm for a late cup of coffee. As I was pouring my drip, I was curious on just how long ago the coffee was brewed since I was getting a late cup. I asked a worker, Samir, what time was the last brew happened, and he gave me that look of disappointment. He and I both knew that the coffee in there was a bit stagnant, so in an instant he said, “Hold up” and went to the back and within a short time came back with a fresh cup of coffee. I was truly amazed by the experience of this service and how he knew what I wanted without asking. Gratitude to Samir, and will definitely be returning to the Roanoke Panera Bread just from this experience.

As of my first visit to this Panera Panera, I'm giving it 5 stars because they accommodated my specific request of how to cut the Avocado Egg white Sandwich. See photo. It's a brand new place so it's all clean. They open at 7:30 on Sunday which is ok. I would prefer earlier but that's not a deal breaker. I will be visiting here more often so we'll see how my future experiences go.

Who'd have thought, ordering a cinnamon bun didn't constitute HEATING it up. Or that vanilla cinnamon bun meant lemon flavor. Or that ordering a bagel tasted with butter meant having to spread cold butter on it ourselves. All of this after waiting in very lengthy lines because only 1 kiosk was working and the human worker was cleaning the floor. I used to enjoy Panera in other cities. I'd guess this was probably my last visit, for a long time.

I had total knee replacement literally 4 days ago and was hungry for some onion soup so I headed to my location in Roanoke. I suppose prior to my surgery I never realize how unfriendly this location is towards those with a handicap whether it’s temporary or long term! I suppose I could have went thru drive thru which would eliminate the need for anyone from Panera at this location to go above and beyond but after 4 days it’s nice to get out.What really took me Back was an employee with a badge making herself a drink (right by front door) saw me struggling to get in the non handicap doors with my walker but never stopped to at least offer to help. As I walk past her to order she past me and headed to back. After I ordered the young lady behind counter game me my cup for my drink and the electronic device to notify when my food was ready to pickup. I was thinking really?So I didn’t say anything and was able to make it to my table and eventually I went and got my food at pickup with walker and bowl of soup.Now compared this to when went to my local Chick Fil A in Roanoke where it seems like every customer couldn’t bend over far enough to help me inside store. It’s just a difference in mentality and courtesy!Won’t change their store but at least I can share my astonishment and disappointment!

I ordered a pick 2 and a kids salad. The sandwich was done right, now the salad... it looked like a couple of scattered pieces of romaine in there with no dressing. Note that this was 4.09 for this salad...the kids salad had way more than this and was actually almost topped off to the top of the container. Very disappointed.

I decided not to wait to get home to havre dinner and weighted my choices in Roanoke. In the mood for a sandwich I had the options of Chick-fil-a (always a trusty option, the most polite staff and most consistently good food), Jason's or Panera. I opted to give the new location in Roanoke a try. Mistake. The place was clean, the cashier friendly and at 8:15pm the place was not too busy. Food came out in somewhat less than the Rapid time that the Rapid Service window implies but hey who knows what other orders were in the drive thru or called in. Soon my name was called and I left with my 1/2 Turkey Apple and Cheddar sandwich. 10 minutes later I'm opening my $7.19 half sandwich to find something that looks as it was made in the biggest dinner rush and then shaken like a bag of popcorn. It was a joke. Yes there were positive things about the visit but when you sandwich looks more like a tossed salad on a sheet of paper and you spend $7.19 you have a right to complain and give 2 stars. Oh and on top of that I hate carry out restaurants that add a screen to yout check out that includes a tip. It's too easy to become paranoid as to whether or not staff sees who tips and doesn't and what impact it might have on the food they have not prepared yet. Then there's the fact that taking an order or making a sandwich are not tip worthy jobs. When someone brings you food, to a table, returns to ensure satisfaction I feel a tip is justified. I won't be back .

I normally try not to leave negative reviews. In this scenario, I ordered about 8 items. 1 item was completely missing. One item was specially requested but easy-request was not observed. The last item was missing a portion of it. I have to be honest-simple order and yet multiple mistakes almost as if there was no attention to detail or cares. Really disappointing for such a good restaurant.

On the day of my visit there was a huge order in front of me. I did have to wait a few extra minutes for my order. I waited in the Drive-Thru and it was perfect because I could use a few minutes to get myself together. So by the time my food was ready so was I. And there wasn't anyone that had to wait behind me either. Both the ladies that I interacted with were so sweet and communicated with me as needed. Highly recommend this location and I will be back.

I love this Panera Bread. Everyone there is so friendly and accommodating. They also keep the restaurant clean and fully stocked.Dietary restrictions: They accommodate most requests.Kid-friendliness: Very kid friendly.

Today is reason 1001 why I love Panera. Earlier today my AC went out out of the blue, and I had to keep my dog out of the heat, so I was calling around a few places before I called this location. When I called, Brittany (I believe that was her name) picked up. I made my request to bring my dog, so she told me she needed to check with the AGM (Eric). Despite their policy of typically only allowing service animals into their establishment, I was told that so long as I kept my dog from roaming the restaurant, I could bring her in. So I spent the day in the AC, and I was told when I left that there hadn’t been any complaints, and that I was welcome back tomorrow should my AC still be out.
