Had to leave without buying anything. There were several emplyees on staff but only one register open and they were taking their time with a line that went to the back of store.Update Jan 30 2021The bathrooms were disgusting! There was one line open and people winding around the store in a line. One register. During covid you would think the manager would take it more seriously. She came out lasily while I was at the register. Didn't even care just looked at the line and didn't open the other register. Just slowly walked back in the back. This will be my last time stopping at one of the poorest managed stripes I have ever been too.

We asked the cashier for different things and she just ignored us, we said hello in 5 different times and she only ignored us, why does this happen? .. so bad.Very different the night cashier to the kind girls who attend the day.

Good location between Corpus Christi and the Rio Grande Valley. Almost the last place to get gasoline when heading to the Valley. Can get crowded at times and making left turns out of the parking lot can be dangerous when pulling a trailer and there is a lack of illuminated traffic controls.Has fueling pumps for big rigs.

Drove through a few weeks ago and this place was disgusting. There were urine in bottles, in the parking lot. The restrooms were terrible. The cashier was nice but seemed to be the only person working. The "manager" was there but was on their cell phone while people waited in line.

Unfortunately this store was let fall to the trash. Restrooms all dirty. Faucets where you wash your hands with mold and bad smell.Where’s the HEALTH DEPARTMENT FOR THIS COUNTY???????Clean this very convenient store!Can’t wait for the plan that Pilot Truck Stop has in opening their store in this area! Many will go out of business.

The y dont have sugar for the coffe no change to give your money back and on the tacos they leave them outside the pckage so it can get cold this store is bad also few times the pumps doesnt work 👎

A large Stripes, large with expectations, iced tea, tacos, fruit cups, and bathrooms. Failed. First stop, dirty bathrooms. No iced tea and no likelihood of any during my visit. I tried to get a cup of ice and a bottle of Lipton tea. Nope. No unsweetened options. Fruit cups, yes. Not a big selection but there was prepackaged fruit. The taco bar was there. The tortillas were very good. The quesadillas looked great. I found the carnitas a little too salty and a little overcooked. Refried beans were good.Here's the problem. This Stripes is on a busy highway and as such sees a lot of traffic. The taco bar has two employees. The register is covered by two employees. There is no staff to take care of the store, clean and restock supplies. This store is too busy to operate with the staff it had.I wish I had some iced tea.

I don't know who is to blame. Probably me for showing up at the wrong time. Trash cans were overfull, no way to clean your windshield after driving north on that bug ridden highway, cash only, shelves were bare, and I don't know who the heck would spit gum into the urinals (the two that worked), but there were at least seven wads of gum. At least the staff was nice.

Good location, nice selection and friendly service. The main improvement for this location is to consider cleanliness a bit more seriously. There was trash along the sidewalk, the bathrooms were not in best shape, and the trashcans were overflowing with refuse. The stench combined with the heat nearly made it unbearable.

This is the worst maintained store I’ve ever seen. Floor was filthy, and sticky. Drink area was the same. Bathrooms were out of soap and paper towels. You can also smell the bathroom from the Laredo Taco ordering counter. I walked in, and walked right back out.

-Fajitas/tacos are made fresh(even the tortillas) right in front of you, and do not lack in flavor! Truly the best I've had, though they are a little pricey at $2.30 each but I wouldn't buy them if they weren't worth it to me.-Everybody was nice and worked quickly with getting the dinner rush taken care of. Thank You!-There is ample truck parking. It's now 8:17pm here in TX and I don't even think the lot is half full.

I gave them one star because there is no 0 stars. I have been in customer service for over 30 yrs. And today. That service at this store was not the best. I filled up my van with gas and the pump didn’t have receipt papear so I walked in the store and asked the cashier if she could print one out for me. Which would have taken a minute if that. She said I had to wait in line with a line of about 15 people. Then I asked to speak to the manager and he/she was no where to be found. So I went on my way and called the store where I got cut off 3 times. Then when I spoke to someone they said there was no manager in the store. I believe a store of that volume would alway have at least one manager in the store at all times. This is to me very bad customer service.

This location is mostly full of rude or incompetent employees, the outside doesn't seem to ever get cleaned, trash cans next to the door always overflowing which causes an infestation of flies disgusting maybe if the employees would spend more time cleaning and changing the trash instead rolling their eyes at customers it could be a decent place to stop, thank goodness there's another convenient store down the road. This location is the worst . Lots of items way over priced even for convenient store prices.

I did not read reviews before going in... Things have improved! The place was clean inside and out. . Good choice of food. And fresh fruit even some veggies. We got a couple of tacos and tamales.. the tortillas made fresh .. very good....maybe give them another look... very impressed..

Tortillas are great. Salsa is great. Barbacoa and carne guisada tacos are great. Somebody has complained that their barbacoa had excess grease. Boloney...barbacoa is ALWAYS greasy. There ARE times of the year that black beatle and crickets populations explode and come out in full force. It's seasonal. You can't keep them out with customers coming in and out the doors on a continuing basis. They're not in the food...they're just an unsightly nuisance on the floor. Wanna complain?...complain to Mother Nature! Everytime I've been there, the restrooms have always been clean, and this is a VERY busy store.

I used to love this place as a kid as it was really clean and we would get a lot of snacks for the road. This is the reason why i rated it 4 for sentimental reasons. However over the past 5 years or more this place has degraded a lot. They never seem to clean up anymore they leave it at bearable. I have seen bugs in here so many times but just ignored it cuz its in the country so bugs would get in occasionally but its too much. However they do have good food and keep good stock. In all honesty i should rate it 3 but i have too many memories back when it was new and clean. If you are an employee reading this please fix it and start cleaning more.

Decent stop before or after a drive through the king's ranch. The restrooms are big enough so you don't have to wait in line. The Laredo taco company is there with their large variety of food. It's definitely a popular place to stop to gas up, eat up, and continue down the road.

I go here just about every day recently. The workers are a little ruff but at 0530 in the morning it is understandable. However, they try their best to keep a smile and are for the most part decent towards you. I am glad this place is where it is or I would never get breakfast on the way to work. Thank you for being there.

The service is HORRIBLE. One of my tacos fell on the floor while the lady was putting my food in the bag and she had the audacity to put it back in the bag right in front of me. Also they were trying to charge me double the price for adding cheese and beans. Also this place is dirty never coming back here. The manager needs to be replaced or something.

I'm a Truck driver and have been to alot of Stripes and other Stores as well. All I have to say is this store has the worst customer service I've experienced on numerous occasions period. Instead of helping customers they're always on their phones or talking to other employees about unrelated work issues like tonight, their glasses after I waited for more than 5 minutes to get my order taken. Do yourself a favor and don't stop here
