I would like to thank my staff and the people we serve every day for making the Riverside store a great experience! I wish I could control the size, the amount of merchandise, and the prices but I can't. I will continue to offer great customer service even when some customers are not receptive. Even though they built a new Dollar General down the road not even 5 miles the store is still disgusting and your stuff all over the house if you want to make a quick trip in there you're not going to because you can't find what you looking for cuz you're tripping over everything in the isle or it's sitting behind the stuff that's in the isle

Short stumpy lady is the most unprofessional rudest person I have ever met! She will follow you around the store gripping at people! If you try to ignore her she will turn the self check out off while you are trying to pay. She will have a line of customer's and will walk away from the register to go to the bathroom or walk outside to talk to someone! I don't understand why or how she's there! She needs to be fired!!! I would not give this store any stars, It doesn't deserve -5 stars!!!

I always go to this store and usually everyone is very nice, but afterms tonight I will no longer visit this location. I was walking down the aisle and they just got done mopping that isle and had the caution signs out, I was walking down this isle and needed a product a very rude employee said "ma'am do you see the signs?" I responded yes ma'am and she very rudely responded with well get back on this side of the sign. Well the sign is there to warn me not meaning I can't walk down that isle wI'll never visit again

The woman in the store was mad and upset because the self checkout counted a five dollar bill as a one dollar bill and i was getting my money back and she can stay mad. I would not not at all recommend this dollar general at all. IT SUCKS!!!!

The staff is very friendly but I went in today and there was hardly any frozen food to choose from that's why they got 3 stars. The staff gets 5 stars because they are very friendly. Donna the manager is very kind, courteous and makes sure customers do not have to wait to long to check out. They are on the corner of woodfarm and hwy 19 in riverside tx.

Hit or miss on frequently purchased items, but its mostly vendor provided things. Idk if management can do anything about all of it but if they raised hell I'm sure vendors like Coca-Cola and whoever provides milk etc., would get it together. Nice employees and usually well organized store, as long as customers don't destroy the store.

The only reason this store gets two starts is because of a few employees have the best customer service. This store doesnt know how to keep there shelves stocked, they always have uboats in the isles blocking them. Almost every time i go in there there is multiple things out of date and i am not talking about by just a few days or even a week. I have found multiple items that have been out of date since may 2020. When the store manager is told she just brushes it off. I have even called the district manager and still nothing is done. I will start taking pics of the things i find out of date and start reporting to the health department.

Not to happy with dollar store in town. Lines are long and they wait to long to call for help...the prices go up a lot and the quantity is getting smaller and smaller...The packaging is getting smaller...And they are out of things I need most of the time and the store I always messy...I love when I go into a dollar store and the store is very clean....The dollar store in Trinity and Riverside is always very messy and you stand in line way to long before they call for help and sometimes they don't even call for help.

The only thing that kept me from writing rating no stars at all is a few folks that work there. The store is always a mess and they run out of things a lot even though this is closer to home I prefer to go to the Dollar General Trinity they have so much more selection in every department and they always have their shelves stocked

I mean, it's a Dollar General in a small town. You can't have too high of standards for it. Employees are nice, they probably have what you need if it isn't something crazy. Dog food? Check. Soft drinks? Yep. Toiletries? Absopositively! I mean, if you're shopping for something you'd typically find for in HEB or Walmart then you'd probably be disappointed, but for a Dollar General it's satisfactory. Nothing upsetting, but nothing extraordinary. I give it one thumb up, but not two cause I'm not that excited for a DG lol. 👍

A saving grace for those in the area who don't want to pay truck stop prices or drive all the way into town for small or simple purchases. Susie I believe her name is is a staple and always warm, friendly, and welcoming.

I worked there as a Store Manager for some years but now I can't work, I always go there . Why ? Because you can get the same certain items like, makeup, shampoos, ECT. plus baby items and so much more for the fraction of the cost anywhere else.

I was asked in the most rude way to leave my bag at the door! I've never stolen a day in my life and what made it even worse is the girl in front of me had a bag the girl at the register was black so maybe that's why she didn't feel the need to take the bag of the other black girl very racist

Racist cashier named Maria ignore's you right after I swiped card, she walks away leaving us standing there, I've had a problem with her before, she's extremely unprofessional

Tall skinny Manager is very racist and rude! She also left all the work on one cashier whom was very nice. I will not be visiting this location ever again.

In the absence of a close by grocery store, DG is great for a quick trip for necessities or sudden cravings. Nice people, too.

Always have anything I expect to be able to find at a dollar store. There are some hard working crewmembers at this location. Can be very crowded at times. Nice work on parking lot btw.

The Dollar General in Riverside Texas Suxs very messy boxes everywhere couldn't even push my buggie down the isles and the manager would not honor the sales price.. Never again will I go in there...
