I've been meaning to stop in here for years and finally did today. It is wonderful. We started with house made onion rings, fried pickles, and mozzarella sticks. Excellent onion Rings. I had the fork tender chicken fried steak and she the chicken tenders. The sides, of fresh mashed potatoes and mustard greens were perfect. Fresh housemade cream gravy was seasoned well and didn't even need black pepper. Savory cornbread, not that sweet stuff...My only regret was getting the hush puppies, found out after we were done eating that, they too are housemade. I will be back, so I will get them.

We got supper there on 5/3/24 husband ordered the hamburger steak and got chicken fried steak with no gravy sides were correct i ordered the Mushroom chicken and got black hair on my food not just one strand not one of our favorite visits here . I called to let them know they asked if i lived close so i could go back up there to fix it but i live in huntsville then they kept me on the line talking to each other so i hung up also didnt find out about the hair until i got off phone with them.

Got take out of burgers. Tomatoes had to come off because the tomatoes over powered everything else. Slice them thinner. Not sliced twice as thick as the meat.Cheese on bottom. Then meat. Top with onions pickles tomatoes and lettuce on top.This order prevents wet bread.

Ordered Hamburger, easy mustard and a Cheeseburger, with mayo. Got two cheeseburgers, no mustard, French Fries half cooked. Called back about the Hamburger having cheese on it ( person couldn’t eat cheese) Got a “sorry bout that but that’s the way they come” Next time you come in we will see what can be done.” ?!?!?!!?! Next time??!?!! Don’t hold your breath!

OMG! Delicious! Catfish fillets fresh and huge. The butter milk and chocolate pies just as delicious as my mom's. The owner Elisabeth and our waitress Cayla were the best. If you're in Riverside/Trinity Texas you must stop and have a meal here.

This was one of the most surprising places I've ever enjoyed. It didn't look like much, but the chicken tenders were some of the best I've ever had, along with the onion rings. My entire group ate everything, all of us discussing how great the food was and how good the portions were.

Love everything about this place. It's exactly what you look for in a small town american diner. The food is always on point and the staff is wonderful and very attentive. Prices are low for the quality and service. I would and do recommend this to anyone looking for a great experience. Server was really nice and the food tasted great. Appetizer duo was on the small side. Portion wise it's only enough for one person. Fried pickles were crispy and tasty. Loaded fries had chili that tasted like chili at a football stadium that's been heating for too long. Chicken fried steak was good and had a nice, light breading. There seems to be a flaw in the seat yourself practice as we had to get up and find our own menus, and even after they realized they didn't take our drink order, we had to once again find our own straws and silverware. They delivered the fried pickles without any ranch dip and fries without ketchup, so we had to go to the front and ask for some (couldn't find a server). Peach cobbler was an incredibly small portion and due to lack of flavor, didn't get eaten by anyone. For a small town expectations, it's probably one of the better options for a home cooked meal. Worth it for the taste and friendliness.

We had burgers that I thought were overcooked. Mine was hard to chew. I had turnip greens as a side that were delicious.Parking: The parking lot entry needs work. A lot of elderly people go there. We are not always sure on our feet.

If I could have given this place 10 stars I absolutely would. We are in for a short vacation and this place was AMAZING! The food was the best, chicken fried chicken and the catfish! Everyone was so nice…the service and food was great and fast! If this place was closer to me I would be a frequent customer! Thank you Daisy’s diner for all the yummy food!

Came in while on a road trip just looking for a quick bite for lunch. Daisy's was the first spot to show up on Google maps, so we pulled over. It's a quaint little spot with a cute country store the moment you walk in, with the dining area right past. Menu was huge with a good variety of southern options. Now, the food itself was HEAVENLY. Got the trio appetizer with fried green beans, gizzards, and onion rings, and they were all perfectly fried with great flavor. Their homemade ranch really takes things to the next level. Every person in my party loved their meal, and the service was very friendly. Overall, the atmosphere and the food make this place a must try if you're ever in the area.
