My husband and I very much enjoyed a weekend stay at the Rio Bella Resort. Our cabin was beautifully designed and decorated and provided us with beautiful views and sounds of the Frio River. The public areas which included lawn chairs on the grassy banks of the river and swings with a view of the river were great places to relax outside of our cabin. Management was friendly and responsive. Location is great for spending time at Garner State Park and having meals in Leakey. Will recommend this place to all of my friends for a great weekend getaway!

We just got back from our second visit to Rio Bella Resort, and it felt like coming home. Staying in the Blanco Cabin again was a dream – the place is just so beautiful and well-maintained, right by the Frio River. Celebrating our anniversary here was the perfect choice. Ana Lisa and Rob were amazing; they really made our stay comfortable and fun, especially with the kayaks. It's great being so close to Garner State Park, and we absolutely loved Leakey Drug Coffee and Wine Bar nearby. Big thanks for another special weekend. Oh, and Baylee, the resort cat, is the sweetest – definitely the cherry on top of a fantastic stay!

My family and I have been going to Rio Bella since the very first summer they opened. It is truly more like a resort than a place to go “camping” or even “glamping,” as some may say. My daughter graduated from high school in May, and instead of going to Cabo with her classmates and parents, she wanted me to bring her and her four best friends to Rio Bella — so much so that she was willing to risk not going anywhere while waiting for a last-minute cancellation. She was ecstatic when I told her something came available and we were going to get to go for four nights. It was a very special time for the girls and me!

This was our 2nd time staying at Rio Bella. They have the best location on the Frio and the cabins are delightful to stay in. Access to Garner and Lost Maples makes this resort a great choice. Of course the best time spent there is just enjoying all the resort offers with its excellent water access.Love our stays there and we will definitely be back!

This was our first time to the resort and it was absolutely amazing! The river was beautiful and we fell in Love! I had so many friends/family asking for the resort details from my pictures! Ana Lisa was super helpful and sweet! She made sure our stay was great! Rio bella is secluded, spacious, and so relaxing! The cabin had everything we needed and more! The cabin we stayed in had an amazing view of the river, as do the rest of the cabins and my boys loved it. I didn't mind the clean up one bit, a place that beautiful deserves to be kept clean!! We will definitely be going back next summer!! Thank you Rio Bella!

First time visitor. I was first met by AnaLise at check in. AnaLise was one the owners apart from family. Super nice people and were able to accommodate just about anything needed. Great staff and service. I stayed in the Nueces cabin. This cabin had its own parking spot. When I entered the cabin it smelled fresh and clean and everything was nice and neat. It had two rooms that we hardly stayed in due to having fun on the river all day. I had some family rent a cabin five down from us and that place was bigger and just as awesome. People around were super friendly and easy to talk to. You can fish, float the river, bbq, kayak all in the resort. Really no need to leave unless needing to restock on items that you have ran out of. Very kid friendly. If you plan on making a trip to the Rio Bella Resort, I highly suggest on getting the cabin for at least 6 days and enjoy the peace they have to offer. A place to make memories with family!

First class Frio River resort perfectly situated on the river. The resort grounds are well kept and maintained which makes for pleasant walks along the river and throughout the resort grounds. The cabin was fantastic, bed was very comfortable for a nice restful sleep! We enjoyed every aspect of our long weekend stay, especially the sitting by and enjoying the river, the trees, the animals, the entire atmosphere at Rio Bella!

Analisa and her staff were very welcoming and accommodating!! This was our first stay at Rio Bella and we can’t begin to describe the natural beauty and relaxing atmosphere. Our cabin was fabulous!!! Rio Bella Resort truly is a gem along the Frio! This was my first stay on their property with my family. We all had a great time, it really is such a beautiful place. The water was perfect for the kids! The cabin exceeded my expectations from the moment I walked in. They really do put a lot of thought, time and effort into this place and it shows! We just returned from our wonderful three night stay at Rio Bella and are already dreaming of the next time we can visit. It was the perfect, relaxing getaway for our small family. Our one year old loved splashing in the cool, clear water, exploring the beautiful grounds and "barking" at the ducks. We can't wait to enjoy more river fun as he gets older!

Great from the moment we got there. The water is beautiful and the perfect depth for all ages to enjoy! The cabin had everything you needed. Property very well kept and manicured. Trust me, they have thought of everything! The kids also enjoyed the fire pit for s’mores, tetherball, corn hole, hammocks . The staff and owner are so nice, you can really tell they care about your stay at Rio Bella.Absolutely coming back for more!!

I’ve come to the Frio every year with my family since I was a toddler. I’ve stayed at may different places and this was my favorite place so far. The resort was really beautiful, the people were friendly, and the staff were kind and helpful. I enjoyed the privacy and the relaxation. The river behind the cabins was convenient and so awesome! The cabins are well kept and absolutely beautiful. I was there all last week and got engaged to my fiancé Wednesday night. We are planning to come back for our wedding.

I can’t say enough nice things about this place. Our stay was fantastic. Our cabin was clean, staff was friendly, and the grounds were stunning. We would highly recommend anyone to visit, especially small families as even the smaller size cabins have lots of private space with the bedroom and loft. The grassy area with hammocks was great plus the rocky area below the waterfall. Rentals and snacks are available onsite. We didn’t even make it to Garner because the resort was so nice. The only downside is they expect you to clean the place, take off bedding & pack out all garbage etc which we thought was a bit much for a resort. Still.. it’s wonderful.

Great stay for us and our three kids at Rio Bella over the Labor Day weekend. Our usual extended weekend trips include us getting out to see local sites, but the cabins, river, and grounds are so nice here we had a first - show up in the evening and not leave the grounds until 3 days later. Everything is very well maintained and the cabins well provisioned. Their river stretch had the perfect mix of float/swim dam section and flowing lower section for kid tubing and exploring. Will be back.

One word AMAZING!!! My family always takes a yearly trip to Garner State Park we have stayed in other rental properties but this year we stayed at Rio Bella let me tell you nothing compares to Rio Bella from the amazing views, the clean cabins and the wonderful staff. Annalisa was so nice and accommodating thank you. We are looking forward in returning!!!!! Love RIO BELLA =)

I stayed at the Rio Bella Llano cabin in late October 2018. Excellent place. I had 2 kids, 3 and 4 yrs with me. The Llano cabin had two levels. My kids occupied the loft, I had to stay at the first level. I could not sleep comfortably while sharing a queen bed with my kids. Therefore I had to run stairs back and forth to make sure my kids were doing ok overnight. This was the only inconvenience. Everything else was superb. The cabin was super clean and nice. Location is fantastic, just above the river. The balcony was our favorite place to eat. The views are outstanding. My kids really enjoyed the area - there is enough space to walk and play around the Rio Bella, in addition, the Garner state park was just 10 mins drive. Perfect vacation spot. Highly recommended.

This is our fourth year to spend 5 glorious nights at Rio Bella, 3 generations of our family together in the Rio Grande House. Rio Bella is more than simply accommodating. It is “The Frio State of Mind”, where you are made comfortable, relaxed, and well cared for. The grounds are not only spotless but charming. The home is clean, with a well supplied kitchen, ready for great family time. The location is the best spot on the river. We are already looking forward to next year! Moody/Parks family.
