Came in and there were pipe leaks and roof leaks towards the front of the store and in a couple other places. I bought a discounted power inverter in automotive and the ac outlets did not work. I had to turn around and return it. Feels like a ghetto Walmart. Lot of repairs needed.

Jay in the Auto Care department took great care of me for my battery installment. He was kind and professional and gave me accurate information on my options. This was my first time here but it definitely won't be the last.*Ok as a side note, I found out that the previous place that put my battery in put it in wrong. So I got an extra helping of great, fast service. Thanks Guys..

BEST STORE EVER. it’s far from my home, but it counts as the best store. the remodel made me want to go there, but it’s not just the remodel, it’s the store itself. employees are nice by the way. i also forgot to mention the low prices by the way.walmart is walmart. they did a good job on remodelling.

The lady at electronics, in the back was extremely rude, the time we were there, we witnessed her being rude to other when they came to pick up, and purchase things from locked bins. She was in phone the whole time, and was even bothered when you asked for her help. She kept telling the guy she was busy on phone and he needed to wait.When we needed help, she was extremely rude to my husband as I had left to get a couple things as we waited to be helped.We reported the situation and her to the manager but she seems to have the same attitude and she acted as she didn’t really care, even tho she did say she was going to talk to her, I doubt she’s going to even address the situation.The store itself is fine.

I’m a former store manager and a former regional manager for Sam’s Club, so while I should be singing their praises I will not be. The worst possible experience you can imagine. Tried to call the store and absolutely no one picks up but the pharmacy. Ask for a manager on duty, and all you can get is a team lead and that’s if you’re lucky enough to find someone that can actually find a team lead. They seem to be improvising their own specifics return policies that do not reflect that of the company. Add to that at times when you shop there they stand in front of your basket in prevent you from leaving until they check the continents have your bags against the receipt. About 95% of the people that check the bags at the front door against receipt do not speak English. I have personally called and launched three complaints against the store and have zero calls back. I was fortunate enough in my lifetime to work for this organization. Well, Sam was alive. I’ve also been fortunate enough to meet each of the family members. This is not the vision Sam Walton had in mind. As a former regional manager for Sam and Chelsea in Club in The former store manager for Walmart, we will not be shopping anymore in this location or any other Walmart for that matter and for the first time ever, I know hold a Costco card. I truly believe at this point Walmart is possibly the worst thing that could ever happen to the United States of America in private commerce. The smaller businesses truly made the difference and now you can barely find any small businesses where Walmart is. We used to take the best employees from smaller businesses around Walmart only to see those businesses close.

Last night, March 19th, I received exceptional customer service from the Auto center. This review is specifically about the way the 2 employees treated me! I’m originally from out of state & unexpectedly needed to travel 7hrs bc of a family death. I showed up with only 30 minutes left before they were to close in need of a much overdue oil change. They were working on 2 cars & asked if there was any way I could come the next day. I explained my family emergency situation & although they could have turned me away, they showed empathy & agreed to fit me in although it meant they would be working past their closing time They didn’t complain or have an attitude about it. They were very professional & communicated the time expectation & actually got me out faster than they had anticipated. I really REALLY appreciate the service they gave me!

I just experienced the most unprofessional, lackluster, gross customer service by the pickup supervisor, "Laura," if that is her real name. I had three items missing from my pickup order yesterday. I usually check to make sure all of my items are loaded into my car, but I was not feeling well and because all of my items are usually accounted for, I didn't have any concerns. Mistakes happen so that's not the issue for me. What was extremely disappointing was the way the manager handled the situation. I could tell she was not paying attention due to her dismissive silence after I explained the situation and her attitude was not gracious or understanding at all! Her attitude lacked any semblance of professionalism. "Laura" gave me an "800" number and I was able to get a refund without question, but I had to press her for that information! She did not want to help me at all, she didn't offer any apology, or any reassurance that she would address the situation with her team to make sure it didn't occur again not just to me, but any customer! "Laura " is undoubtedly unqualified to manage, and I hope she gains the ambition to not only represent the company she works for much better, but also herself.

This Walmart a s usually well stocked, it’s clean and the greeters are super nice.I usually check out at the self checkout and the employees attending to the place are attentive and quick to respond should something happen.I give two thumbs up.

I gave this Walmart a 3rd chance. April 15 4pm to be exact. The Indian lady in customer service needs better training doesn’t even know Walmart's policy. At least I thank her for saving me some money, I went ahead and spent my money at target.

I was waiting for 10 min for someone to show up at the bakery, so someone can write “happy birthday mom” on a cake for me and then I asked an employee if someone is working back there today and she said yeah, just for me to wait a moment and I waited for about 30 more minutes and no one ever showed up. Well 2 ladies went in the bakery part and I tried to ask if one of them could write it for me and one of them said they are goin on break so I would need to come back in about an hr. I left and went to H.E.B. Better cakes, and way better service!

Walmart thinks their SMART, they have re-arrange the store it does look way better and cleaner, but it's their way of hiding the limited availability of what they carry now for several months now i have noticed products i like are now longer carried by Walmart but they the GREAT VALUE brand version. I'm all for saving money, but sometimes the more expensive and name brand are better. And please, Walmart, stop hiring employees who claim to go to the back to check on an item for you but never come out and stop with the line...if it's not on the floor we don't have it, that's B.S. yes, it is in the back. Your employees are just too lazy to check.

theres a manager here goes by charlone i believe . shes an african American lady.she is so awesome , so respectful. always there to help out and most importantly , she got great ethics and customer service.there's also another lady goes by Elizabeth and Doris. these ladies are amazing and every time i go there , i always feel loved and welcomed.my fav new spot is this location. all of them need to get a raise

Today, I went to purchase Fruit of the Loom underwear, under shirts, and a laundry basket.I found none in my size nor said basket.That's fine. I will look elsewhere or return later . Or so I thought.So, I decided to browse a little more and decided to return to my errands.As I needed to exit quickly. No one can just exit due to the 'stop exit' bars.I asked the kind greeter I'd she could open the 'stop exit' bars so I could pass without going around... because of my apparent walking disability.She said " no , go around ".I told her of my walking disability. She repeated "no"(Sighs)Finally, she allowed me to pass (probably because this stop bars are non-compliant with the ADA.Anyway, she gripes that 'This Time'...No , everytime !I told her if this is how Walmart is going to be then I will no longer purchase from Walmart anymore.She was argumentative til the end .Saying "good ".In reference to me being dissatisfied.It's not like I'm the only one who is disabled that buys from Walmart.As a matter of fact I met another man with a walking disability going in as I left .Hopefully they treat him better than me .Plus I never met anyone with a disability at that Walmart working there.They probably wouldn't hire one either.Dirty pool Walmart, Dirty Pool.Time of incident 10:38am 02/28/24!!! Same as walmarts go, has great selection, great prices, the parking lot is easy access. There is about 5 employees that try and are helpful in every way but for the most part, the employee's act as if they are put out with any question and make you feel as if you are lucky to be there but in fact they are lucky we are able to spend in there so they have jobs (some of us don't) i love walmart for the selection and price.... if you can skip this one, you should

While waiting at Auto machanic checkout two Auto employee entered same area as I stood neither one acknowledged me. Not a hello nor someone will be you. -1 star. I recommend a serious evaluation of staff should be conducted.

I can find practically everything I at a lower price. I was really surprised, but not too much that all of the makeup was all locked up, which I can understand now. Plus, you had to checkout there in that area.

The employees work their butts off, but it seems that for whatever reason from the top down to them, they are overwhelmed. They need more employees, better systems in place to make everything move more smoothly, and I suspect they need better management in many instances. My two cents.

I went to pick up some snacks And decided on some bags of Sweet Red Apple slices. Not only was the bag I opened OUT OF DATE but so was the bag I bought that was DIRECTLY behind it! The apples where mushy, slimy, and sour with ROT. When I tried to call to get heads or tails of a refund NO ONE ANSWERED THE PHONE.I’m posting this review about 5 mins after close and I was calling 35 minutes prior. I understand closing takes time but I now have food poisoning from these apples!Both bags went bad on 11/18/22, but I bought them on 11/22/22 TRUSTING the food would be well circulated and checked on. I was wrong and will greatly consider spending my money here again. Check your dates ladies and gents. Don’t get food poisoning

Awful Service. Period. Do not recommend using Walmart App.My dad ordered online through Walmart app to purchase a TV. They said it will be ready the next day at 11AM. I decided not to wait and went the same day to see if we can get the TV earlier. When I went the told me no, I had to wait for my pick up time the next day even through the TV was right in front of me. I decided to go next day to not cause a fuss. When I went through my normal pick up time in curbside, they said the TV is not ready. I showed my order email and again they said they can ship it to me. I went to look for the TV in electronics and it was there. I spoke with customer service and they said those TVs are for black friday. I honestly don't care, I just want what we paid for and nothing. Very unprofessional and lazy. I will never use the Walmart App again. I honestly don't know why they have a pick up option if they would not going to follow through. I do not recommend the Walmart app. Also, I called their main line 4 times and nothing. No one picks up.

I asked 2 workers in blue vests for a price check on a brick paver, telling them I couldn't find a price tag anywhere. Instead of going over to the section where the pavers are, they told me to carry this heavy brick from the garden department to the check out counter at the front of the store. Then they started chatting again! Smh

I went for an interview and miss kitty said she wasnt thinking about interviewing me bc i had a design on my shirt wasnt a bad one at all and during the interview she said i needed to wear white or black plain t shirts only and that when working i couldnt have headphones in my ears i go to this walmart to shop all the time every employee has headphones in their ear and designs on their t shirts walmart needs to do something about the hiring lady bc i was excited to even have a job opportunity there and after she interviewed me i decided i didnt want to work their bc it seemed as she wasnt being fair

Most employees treat you like you're a criminal and act annoyed when you ask for help with anything. They have recently locked up many items, including 10-dollar watches, which they then escort you to the cashier to buy, only for them to break the next day. Many employees harass customers to show them their receipt, even illegally detaining them by locking the doors on the way out. One customer was humiliated because she had misplaced her receipt, so an employee went to the self-checkout and then to the back to make sure that the purchase was made. They operate on the principle that all are guilty until proven innocent. Don't come here unless you want to risk running into Inquisition-like tactics.

Literally the only store in the entire country that refuses to acknowledge the tag price. Tried to tell me that the tag "DOESN'T MATTER" and "It's in the wrong place because of the remodel" when the item has been on the clearance rack since before the remodel HIRING even started. Like just say that you're to lazy to go check the price tag that the customer is telling you the exact location of.Editing to add a pic of the product in question to show that instead of removing the product from the clearance rack and putting what the CSM called "the correct price" on it they just arranged the product so it's easier to see that it's supposedly on clearance. Just remember in this store the price on the tag DOESN'T actually mean that's the price it's just to trick you into buying stuff.

Walmart self check out you're my only friend... You can't go wrong with the self check at this store. The cashiers are nice enough but there's just something soothing about these machines. I shop as a customer here and I also work as a vendor once a week. Ive had good experiences on both sides. Good values and you count on this Richmond Walmart to keep people of Walmart dot com always something to look at here...
