I bought a bag of Purina dog food from them, took it home, there ended up being meal worms in the food. Took the food back, exchanged it for a different dog food not near the other dog food I originally purchased. Brought it home, a week later started to see meal worms hatch AGAIN. I bought a new container before storing the 2nd bag, so I know that the food is coming contaminated from the store. Took the 2nd bag of food back, associate was nice and gave me my money back and said they would talk to their manager about a possible infestation. This store needs to throw out the food on the shelves, deep clean, and start over. Will not be purchasing dog food from them again. If you look in the photo attached, you can see the meal worms. Do not purchase food from here until they confirm they have fixed the issue. The time that I brought the first bag back, there was another man bringing a bag of food back because he also had bugs in his bag.

Today I went to store for a portable double cats cage. Because I need to pick up my cats immediately so I had to assemble the cage in the store after paid for it. My cashier Jason was super helpful !! Jason helped me to put everything on and even asked other employee for a screwdriver for final assembly. I was so happy to have Jason helped me at that moment! He was so nice and kind, and always encouraged me not to give up. I love this experience at the location. Thank you, Jason.

I usually work with Monica who is very informative and gentle with my puppy chow chow Daisy. The first booking I made for my 9 week old puppy was a haircut she informed it is too early to shave her coat because it will not grow back the same. I booked her third booking yesterday and it was with Kaylee. Kaylee was rude and asked if I wanted a hair cut for daisy when I booked a trim. Mind you it was 7:30 AM my very active puppy was fighting to get out of my arms bc she loves attention. I was sleepy and at the time I completely forgot why she did not need a haircut. I told Kaylee multiple times that I wanted what Monica usually does for my baby. After she wouldn't stop talking I finally agreed to a haircut then she tried to show me what Monica does for Daisy. She said she uses some shaver which is inaccurate because I looked at her History of bookings. Monica trims her like the original booking I made..... at that point I was upset. I said ma'am I just want to drop her off and go. Just do what Monica does... she said the check in process usually takes 10 minutes. I said with Monica it usually doesn't. SHE PROCEEDED TO SPEAK POORLY OF HER AND SAY SHE DOES THE CHECK INS WRONG AND WHEN I TRIED TO CUT HER OFF BY SAYING MONICA IS GREAT WITH OUR DOG. SHE CONTINUED!!! VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. SHE ALSO MADE A SLY COMMENT ABOUT MY DOG WHEN I HANDERD HER OVER.... When I went to pick her up I guess she realized she shouldn't have shaved her coat bc she was too young so she gave me free items and a coupon.. my fiancƩ realized later on why Monica told us not to cut her hair but by that time it was too late. I hope Monica doesn't leave bc I will only book with her from this point. Kaylee you have issues that need to be addressed and instead of wanting to be right and prove the customer wrong .. do your research or listen to the customer.

The young ladies that work as groomers at the Richmond location really know how to treat their customers. I took my 2 Lhasa Apsos for nail grinding and they loved the treatment they got. ~ Highly recommend this place.

The gentleman that helped us (Elijah) was super attentive when letting him know what we needed for our bath and brush service. Our pup liked him a lot too. This petsmart is also super clean and organized with very friendly associates.

Never take your dog to get groomed there. Took my goldendoodle for grooming received a call that they canāt continue. As I was there a lady tried to finish it of. Another Hispanic lady walked in and told her to stop doing that. Most traumatizing experience we ever had. Donāt wish that on anyone.I seriously donāt know what kind of cut they were doing to my dog!

David helped me with everything to my fish tank gave me loads of information about plants, fish compatibility and listened well and didnāt act hurried. Not often to do you find employees so interested and professional in what you have going on and go the extra step to make sure you feel appreciated. Heās awesome. Thanks bro!

I needed an old-school plastic pool for my puppy. I got one of those fold-up kind that the big guys can ship in the mail. They had plenty in stock. My dog could jump in and out of it. It will last forever (unlike the fold-up kind), and I couldn't be happier to have a physical store to visit that had what I needed. Please visit these folks!

Our dog Scooter is a Bri/Poodle mix with a total coverage of curly, soft hair. He went to the PetSMart on the Grand Parkway in Richmond and Bri was his āstylistā!!! She did an incredible job fluffing him up and he now thinks heās sooooo cool!!! Thanks so much Bri!!!

My sisterās dog was injured yesterday during a bath and brush. He is a very friendly and well behaved golden doodle. I do not recommend petsmart for grooming services as there was been a lot of accidents and dogs dying or getting injured during their grooming appointment (nationwide). Most likely it was an accident and it was not the groomerās fault. Petsmart provides a very stressful environment for the groomers and the dogs. At first they did not want to cover for the pet expenses but they ended up covering.

We either come in or instacart. We like petsmart over petco. They have better varieties. We love the dog dentley products. We will buy alot of chicken and duck feet and chicken hearts.

I have just been into a PS store and am incredibly shocked and saddened to see that they keep Beta fish in containers no larger than a yogurt pot. Incredibly cruel. PS, you make enough profit from animals; the least you could do is treat them with respect and kindness.

Most Pet Stores were out of the crickets we needed for our pets but this PetSmart had plenty!David was very helpful and friendly. David made small talk and asked about our pets which was nice. David also let us know this store is usually good about keeping their crickets in stock.This store is pretty out of the way but I will be coming back more often because of the friendly staff and their ability to keep things in stock!

I mostly shop at this location for my puppy beside the sugarland location. All the previous visits, from the sale rep to the cashiers, they were all so nice and helpful until today the cashier at lane 2 was so rude that itās unbelievable even my 15 yrs old nephew said that āhow rude can she beāShe was totally ignored us when we got to the register even though I said āhiā then didnāt even help to bring us up. I had to walked to another register.If she donāt like her job, simply look for something else to do, or if she has something going on, leave that at home. Customers donāt deserve that kind of treatment especially when weāre being nice and decent towards you.

The place doesn't take care of their animals well enough. I have owned so many pets from rodents to fish. And I can honestly say a lot of the keep isn't what it's supposed to be.

I recently bought a fish tank from here (about a month ago). This was my first fish tank ever and I had no clue what it takes to setup. The staff spent significant amount of time with me to explain me all the details. She appeared to be busy and was taking care of questions from other junior staff, but she made sure I am taken care of. That really made a difference. I had several other visits to the store, and all of them was awesome. I want to give a big shout out to the entire PetSmart team !!

Didnāt even give my dog 1 minute to feel comfortable. My dog saw a stranger and barked (which is what most dogs do) but she didnāt try even for one minute to make him feel comfortable. She jumped back in fear, looked like she was new definitely not an experienced groomer. If you donāt have patience for dogs then work somewhere else Avery.

I don't know why all the negative reviews about their grooming service. I've brought my dog for years, and never once had a issue. Sure... They are a busy salon, yes they forget little things like a bandana or cologne sometimes. However, my 11 year old schnoodle has always come back to me in perfect condition. His cuts are always great, teeth are good, no injuries, etc..... I recently took him to Amanda. She was great! All smiles and very pleasant attitude. When I dropped him off at 9am, I explained I really needed him back by 12, I received a call at 11:40 telling me he was ready. The only reason for the 4 stars is that I've had previous experiences here where he was there 4-5 hours... But I'm patient about it. Yes he's in a kennel, but they DO give them water and they are in a private kennel! I say try them out, don't let the negative reviews sway you. Of course people take out time to review when they have a negative experience, which I totally get. However, I come here all the time and have seen tons of dogs getting groomed, and people smiling when they pick up/drop of, so.....

I adopted a new cat today and didnt expect to be able to take her home today. I was given a coupon booklet that included free bag of food and coupon for $5 off cat carrier along with tons of other great coupons. I had to have carrier and checkout clerk even assembled it for me. EVERY single employee congratulated us. Really great experience and excellent customer service.

I would not recommend the grooming salon. The staff is rude and would not try to make my dog feel confortable before cutting its hair. Instead, the would call me back saying that my dog was too nervous to do the work. Long story short, I had to pick her up without even saying sorry!

If you sign up for the pet smart text alerts you will find they beat online prices. I love supporting this place over ordering online. The staff here always wants to help out.Even if they don't have the same size food bag they will give you two small bags at the same price as the big one. The grooming department needs a few extra reminders on how you want you pet groomed.
