Very nice, knowledgeable staff, better prices than other pet shops we have been to. In store groomer is great. She goes out of her way to make it a pleasant experience for my puppy to get groomed. She looked and smelled so good with her fall leaves bandana!

I came to this store because they allowed a fish/aquarium swap meet to happen, which I am very grateful for. It's a large store, organized and good pricing. Compared to the stores where I live in Ft Worth, it is a lot better than normal. Of course I was there for the fish who overall looked good but then there are the bettas. They pretty much all looked sad and some were not well. Torn fins, skinny, not active, etc. I found a fellow with a huge tumor. The gal working was very friendly and willing to help, no problems with her at all. She bagged up my little man and let me know he'd been there a whopping SIX MONTHS! The ammonia levels of his water when I got home was up to 4ppm. Since this store has been replying to reviews I am begging you to please care more about these fish. No fish lives in a bowl, cup, jar, vase etc and these guys will all be a little happier if they didn't have to live in bowls. Imagine if a cat like you have for adoption were allowed to live like that- the store would be cited for animal cruelty but since cold blooded animals like fish are generally exempt from animal cruelty laws this sort of stuff passes under the radar. Please step up your game and show compassion towards these often mistreated fish.Included are pix of a few fish, and the tumor fish in his new home.

Very friendly staff, great customer service and super cheap pet products for good quality. You can tell the animals are very well taken care of and it is much cleaner than Petcos, Petsmart and Pet Supplies Plus. Staff is very knowledgeable as well.

Great prices, fantastic selections and the friendliest service of any pet store for miles. Okay I had to do an update for this place because I really can't rave enough about it. I've been coming here for about 5 months now and it is always on point. I have yet to have a single issue

The staff is alwaya nice and your allowed to play with the caged animals. They always have sales on their products. You can take your pets inside.

Very helpful staff, great customer service. They have a great selection of aquatic life which is what I normally am there for. They offer competitive pricing and always strive to please me before I leave. I really enjoy just walking in to take a look at what they have to offer and almost always end up leaving with something because they seem to always have new stock put in and their prices are very competitive even compared to the bigger more known box stores such as Pet Smart and Petco. I really enjoy the service they offer and how personable they can be with their customers. I highly recommend this store for all your pets needs, they are very knowledgeable and really put in the effort to make sure that you leave a happy and satisfied customer. I have been there plenty of times and will always continue to make visits there. You must give them a try if you are in the area, you will be surprised by there prices and their services.

I volunteered at an adoption event for Garland Animal Shelter that was hosted at this location. Every staff member was attentive and helpful with anything we needed for the dogs! They were so friendly and nice to every person who entered the store, whether they were there for the event or just to buy some dog food. I listened to a couple of employees happily telling some kids about their ferrets and snakes, which the kids were obviously very interested in, even though they did not purchase. The store was clean and the prices were very reasonable. We will be returning for regular shopping later :)

Good selection of higher quality food products for cats and dogs at decent prices. Well organized store, well stocked. They also have small critters, birds and fish for sale. Low cost vet clinic on Sundays. Large variety of all pet needs. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Great location and friendly helpful employees. Prices seem competitive. Store is clean and well organized. I really like having a pet store close to my house and supporting a smaller business as opposed to going to the big chain stores like Pet Smart and Petco. The only reason for 4 stars is the limited inventory and selection. The store is large and appears well stocked but once I start looking for particular items, I sometimes find they don't carry what I need. Still recommend trying this store.

Friendly, knowledgeable, and approachable staff. Great destination for 'get out of the house' pet trips. Always welcome our leashed pets - even have treats ready (whatever current promotion is). Good selection of quality food products at every price range with high quality brands in many flavors that competitors do not carry. Toy and clothing prices on part or better than -mart and -co stores. However, the clothes accommodate teacup to mid sized pets and not large dogs. Our 60 lb boy can't fit any currently offered. Excellent selection of natural and brand name medical items too!

Great selection and outstanding customer service. Prices are right in line with the other guys. We've started bringing our poodle mix for grooming and she loves it.They took over a property that had been vacant for many years, revitalizing a sad spot in the neighborhood. We weren't sure at first but haven't gone anywhere else since our first visit.I do wish they offered a refill on cat litter as those big plastic containers are such a waste. If that's the only thing to complain about they are doing pretty good.

This store is always clean and the animals seem healthy and happy. They carry a good amount of high quality items and food for a variety of pets. The cat tower with adorable adoptable kitties is my favorite part and the employees have no problem with you opening up the cage to play with the cats. My only problem was on this visit I had 6 employees ask me if I needed help, one asked what I was coming in for, and many of them asked me flat out to adopt the animals. I understand that sales need to be made but I was the only person in the store and I felt really overwhelmed and like I was being watched. I just wanted to play with some cats...

Absolutely LOVE this place. Every employee is funny, kind and understanding of any mishaps. Good prices, great groomer, very good discounts and deals. My dog absolutely loves coming here, gets really excited when she gets out the car and gets lots of pets and treats from employees!! I won't go anywhere else!!!

Really clean and well organized with a staggering collection of food for a wide variety of animals. I appreciate that they keep track of if a food will be expiring soon and mark it down accordingly. The rewards are pretty great too. Highly recommend!

At first I thought it was great having this store open. After a couple of frustrating visits I won't be back. They have a lot of product without prices. I needed flea/tick drops for my dogs but no prices to shop/compare. I asked an employee and he pointed to a fine print sign glued to the front cabinet about a foot off the floor. People, I'm 60 years old, I shouldn't have to crawl on my knees to shop. Lots of other items unmarked. Finally I found that for what I purchase PetCo had better prices and they mark the prices in the store. They just seem confused on how to run a store. I won't be back.

This was my first visit and I was impressed. It is a much smaller place than Petsmart or Petco, but they have a bunch of stuff! They have grooming, a mobile vet comes in and they have just about everything you need for your furry family. They had some cats for adoption, rabbits, ferrets and a few small reptiles (ball python, corn snake, bearded dragon, turtle). The store is very well laid out and pet friendly. I will definitely take my dog for a visit!

I live within walking distance from this pet store and go there all the time due to convince but considering how they treated me today I will be taking my business elsewhere. First, I when I walked into the store the guy who works there looked at me and chose not to greet me, as that is what customer service is. Granted he was helping another customer so I let that go. I proceeded to collect the items I needed for my puppy and stood at the front desk. Here was the problem; I stood at the front counter for 15 minutes without anyone asking me if I needed any assistance or if I was ready to check out. I walked several time toward the back toward the employee and tried to make eye contact to let him know that I was ready to check out. He literally turned his back and started talking to another customer that just walked in. By this time I'm irritated and ready to leave. As soon as I walk to the front, I see another employee checking out a lady. I walked over and asked the young lady if she just walked up there and she stated yes. Meanwhile the male employee walked up to the front and not once asked if I needed anything. Horrible customer service today! Consider my subscription and membership with your store now void because I will not be back!!

Bumping my review up to 5 stars. This place has grown on me. Yeah sometimes they are understaffed and you might have to wait a few minutes at the counter, but that's not a big deal and can happen anywhere. Employees are friendly, some more than others, and this place is always super clean. Very spacious and I love visiting the kitties up for adoption. I always try to pay them a little attention when I go in and occasionally an employee will come over and ask if I want the door open so I can give them more pets :)I usually come once a week for mealworms and/or frozen mice and am pleased that they carry large mealworms now. My gecko was not a fan of the superworms but the small mealworms make feeding time FOREVER so thank you for stocking bigger ones!

I like the selection of items and the animals that they have. The store was clean the last time I went there, but that was in the first couple weeks that they first opened...I haven't been in there since I last bought a bird from them. The bird died less than 2 weeks after I bought him. It didnt seem like the staff knew much about the animals or how to care for them, not did they help me out other than giving me a sheet of paper with instruction. I would recommend buying animal foox, toys. And accessories here, but I wouldn't recommend buying any of the live animals here.

My expirence here was amazing all the sales associates were very knowledgeable when it came to fish, small animals as well as pet food and so much more.What really stood out at this store was how well the fish and animals were taken care of I have been to petco and petsmart and was not happy with the fish setup or the health of the fish but this store was setup perfectly.If you want great service with very friendly knowledgeable sales associates this is the place to go. I recommend you ask for David

EDIT: I have to change my review, as I have stopped coming here all together. They have a “buy ten bags of the same dog food, get one free!” promotion that has been going on for ages. I had been shopping here for around a year and a half / two years consistently buying the same food, asking repeatedly when the free bag would be. I kept being promised “you’re almost there!” - and I kept falling for it. Finally, I was told, “two more bags and you’re there!”Lo and behold, on my trip for the third (supposedly free bag), I was told that not only do I not have a qualifying bag, but that I “must have been lied to because this brand has been on and off the qualifying selection list”. I asked politely to speak to a manager, who was able to look our purchase history up. He showed us that we HAD bought MANY of the same qualifying bags (same brand, same size, etc etc), and then was also surprised despite his smugness to find that yes! Our brand WAS on the qualifying list!He impatiently said there was nothing he could do for me, and that I’d have to call corporate for anything to be done. He even flippantly asked if I’d like to wait there while he called for me. I called his bluff and said yes, as we both awkwardly stood and stared at each other for the ensuing thirty minutes listening to the on-hold music (because they apparently do not have an employee backline for expedited issues). Then, the line disconnected. Corporate hung up on us.I asked what we could do about this issue, since there was no resolution. Truthfully, I had been getting $20 off coupons from Pet Supplies Plus, but since I wanted my free bag, I kept coming here. He very frustratedly said “Well all I can do for you is submit a ticket through the website on your behalf, and give you a call once I get a response.” I said yes, please... as I had been waiting here for nearly an hour now.I never got a call back. I’m never spending money here again, and I will warn everyone I know not to come by here. Horrible management, horrible problem solving, horrible customer service once things get ‘escalated’.

Always nice. They try to find dog food my older dog will eat willingly. She is old and picky. I always take the sample but she has yet to go for one. I am glad they keep trying to find "🐕 food she will love".

Nice place. Ice only been twice now but always clean and I've discovered some great deals on puppy piddle pads with huge pads that have sticky corners to keep them in place. They have a great variety of toys and foods for everything from reptiles to birds. They do sell reptiles, birds, and fish. I have not bought any fish from them yet so I can't attest to health but they do have a large number in each tank moreso than I've seen any other store have per tank for the size before. Even compared to Petco or Petsmart (not counting feeder fish). The people are very receptive to helping you and are very very friendly. Both times that I've been there it was like talking with old friends. I consider that a huge compliment towards them.
