I wouldn’t go here for dog grooming services. We took both our dogs once and it was fine, but the policies and communication about the policies is extremely deceitful. We had our dogs scheduled for a second grooming at 10am, and we called the day before to reschedule (we have 2 small kids and sometimes plans change). My wife called at 9, but they were not open yet (they don’t open until 10) so she called again around 11. They rescheduled us no problem. A few days later we noticed a charge from them for $55. We called and asked what it was, and were told that this is a fee for canceling within 24 hours. Oh and by the way - if we had called 1hour earlier there would not have been a fee. And we were not told that rescheduling would have resulted in a fee. When we asked why they did not tell us that, they said that “it was in the contract you signed and that some people get mad when they are told about the cancellation fee policy when they are trying to cancel”. They refused to refund us. Had we been told about this policy, we would have tried to figure out a way to continue with the initial appointment. I called and left a message because they didn’t answer the next day and asked for a manager to call me back and no one did. Lack of communication and transparency about this policy have caused Earthwise to lose our business. Pretty wild that they would rather charge us the $55 and not refund than us continue bringing our dogs in for grooming.

Ripped me off! Increased the price 27% from their advertised rate at checkout.The first time using the self-wash for my two Siberian Huskies was great! I was the only one using the facilities and the clerk was very nice and friendly. Took me the usual two hours to wash and blow dry both dogs. Nice service for $15 per dog.The second time was Sunday Feb 26. I arrived at their 12:00 noon opening. I finished both dogs, cleaned out the tub, and went to the checkout at 2:00 PM. During my 2 hours, two other clients used the second wash station for one dog each clocking in at an hour per dog. When I checked out, the clerk said she had to charge me an extra $8 because "four people were waiting." Absolutely ridiculous! A 27% surcharge because other people who came in after me were waiting while the people with the two other dogs at the second station each took the same time (an hour per dog). Pure theft.I will never go back to this or any other EarthWise.

I love bringing my dog Gracie to Earthwise to bathe her. It's super easy, and they provide ALL the supplies you could need. The staff at Earthwise is great. They also clean up all the mess so that you can wash, dry, and go with a clean dog.

First time customer here! I have a 3.5 year old doodle who has a history of going to different groomers. Upon arrival I met the groomer and we discussed exactly how I wanted my dog’s hair to be groomed. I then informed the groomer multiple times that the dog’s paws are very sensitive. I explained that when she starts grooming his paws he might want to nibble at her or react so be careful and mindful about that. If there’s any issues give me a call. She said thank you for the heads up, I appreciate you telling me because not very many owners would warn me about things like that. She continued, and said I will be mindful and careful about his paws, let me do my thing I’ll make sure he’s good. I said ok great we’ll see you in 3 or 4 hours.Three hours later I arrived to pick up the dog thinking everything was ok until I was told the dog attempted to bite the groomer several times while she was working on his paws. He wanted to bite at the groomer while cutting the hair on his body and that they needed assistance from 2 other employees to hold the dog so he doesn’t bite. With that being said we’re going to have to charge you a $10 fee for misbehaving.I said what did I tell you before I dropped the dog off!?!?? I told ya’ll his paws are sensitive, I warned you ahead of time and that if you run into any issues with the dog give me a call and I’ll come over and remove him. ZERO COMMUNICATION! not one phone call! no one communicated by calling me and saying we’re having trouble with your dog and we’re going to have to charge you a fee. I didn’t know that a misbehaving fee was even a real thing until today! also I’ve taken my dog to multiple different groomers and I’ve never had a bad report like this.I communicated with you about the dog and I expected the same in return. Don’t surprise me upon pick up and tell me the groomer had issues grooming the dog and then charge me an extra $10. The groomer should have said if we have issues we’re going to have to charge you a fee but no! they didn’t say anything, she was like ok cool thanks I’ll take it from here when I dropped him off.Ya I paid the fee and left because I just didn’t want to hear it anymore. I was frustrated by the lack of communication and surprise report plus the additional fee. I would have tipped your groomer nicely but you didn’t communicate with me at all! If you have a problem with a dog or any other animal that comes to your business call the owner and inform them about what’s going on. Don’t not say anything because that’ll make things worse. I will NOT be taking my dog there again, you ruined the experience. Do better!

I definitely would NOT recommend this place! I made an appointment 9 days in advance to have both of my yorkies groomed. I emailed the medical records to them the same day I made the appointment. I arrived to my appointment and as I am filling out additional paperwork, they inform that they cannot accept them for grooming because the just noticed that their rabies shots expired (July 7th and August 17th, 2021). I asked what was the purpose of sending in medical records in advance per their request, if no one is going to look at them until the morning of!? I spoke to the manager later that day and explained my frustration because had I known that prior to the morning of the appointment, they could have gotten their shots or etc., within the timeframe of me making the appointment. Not to add, I had taken time away from my business to make a blank trip! So, the manager called and offered a 20% discount towards grooming. I bring the dogs back the next week for grooming and OMG! The groomer shaved them almost bald! I went over with her what I wanted, we talked about each of their hair textures, etc. On top of that, the groomer writes me a note to tell me that she had to charge a behavioral fee because they were hard to deal with....THIS IS THEIR FIRST TIME BEING GROOMED AT THIS PLACE! She basically made sure that the discount that I was given was put back into the bill. DO NOT PATRONIZE THIS PLACE...YOU WILL NOT BE HAPPY! Pictures are below!

The ladies at this store in Richardson, Tx are so very nice and helpful! I love that if you have a question, they try their best to get you an answer! They will go out of their way to help and get the products you need if they don't have them in store. I absolutely love this store!

This place is fantastic. Are used to go to roof over in Plano, which is not a bad place at all but this place is half the price. The stores are bigger better, and the way the chemical comes out of the water dispenser at the same time is amazing. I absolutely love it. I’ll never take my dog anywhere else. I usually go have my dog washes once every two weeks And the staff is very nice. It’s great place.

So glad I found this place! Clean tubs everything you need to wash and dry your pet without breaking your back Or the bank! Reasonable 2 towels included. If you want more bring them or pay extra. They have a brochure with pricing including add ons like nail clipping etc.Will definitely be back and tell everyone about it!!

We have been going to EarthWise Pet - Richardson since March 2022 when we moved to the area. We are beyond grateful for our groomer, Chelsea! My pup, Carson, has been going every month to help with his grooming anxiety and we have never been disappointed! We love this place and everyone that works there!

So awesome! We take Mickey here to get groomed and to use the baths. We take him to the lake, then to here and we get him a treat here because he hates baths. They have a lot of home made treats that look like cookies

HORRIBLE SERVICE - I had a grooming appointment for 10am. They called to tell me to come at 10:30am since that would work better for them. When I showed up at 10:30am the day of the appointment, they would not accept my dog for grooming. Never go to this place, complete waste of time and unprofessional.

We had an excellent experience getting our dog groomed here for the first time! They picked her up curbside, maintaining appropriate social distancing, and I had a chance to discuss with the groomer exactly what we were looking for. All of the employees were very kind and warm (not rushed, nor judgmental of her slight anxiousness or the fact that she had some mats despite my best efforts to avoid them!), and most importantly showed so much affection for our dog! I felt very comfortable leaving her with them, and the end result was a great haircut! The groomer included a cute note detailing how she did with the grooming. The price was affordable as well!

What a great experience. They took great care of our German Shepherd pup. She was clean and happy. They did a great job on her nails both trimming and filing, a service that hasn't been offered anywhere else. I had almost given up on finding a reliable groomer in my area. Earthwise has been a great find for us.

Great place for self-washing. Would not recommend their grooming services! I was very specific in my directions, which the groomer did not follow. They also charged me $15 because they said he was matted. I brush this dog all the time and can say with confidence he was not matted. He was practically shaved bald. I am so disappointed. We will not be using grooming services again.

We are so incredibly happy with how both our pups turn out after their grooming and bath session here. Their coat are super soft and shiny, they smell divine and very subtle which we love!! Their fall out are very few almost none when we pet them....We had such a great experience here. And Our pups seem happy atterward!

I was very disappointed after leaving with my dog. The total cost for my 25lb border/Cardin terrier mix dog was $105.The standard price being $65The dremel add on was $20& there was another add on because my dog nipped at her but did not break skin ($13).I felt bad my dog nipped at her & glad it did not break skin. But there was an addition cost & his haircut was not completed, his entire neck & face are was not groomed & still entirely scruffy.He smelled great & was nicely groomed in the other areas, but I was very disappointed because I thought the costs were very excessive compared to how my dog ended up.I also tipped her an additional 15% percent before I had seen her dog as they asked me to pay before I saw him. Something I probably would not have done if I had seen him first.I took my baby to them because the woman I talked to on the phone seemed really friendly and like they knew what they were doing. I’m disappointed & we won’t be returning.

Caring and friendly staff. Nothing but the best for my pup!12/2021 Update 4 years later - a lot has changed with new faces. The staff is extremely nice but after I got my dog back, he had a red clipper burns all over his belly and minimal bleeding like long gashes of paper cuts with red burns that lasted 4 days. I groom my own dog and as an amateur, I’ve never done that. I don’t like leaving these types of reviews and rather take it up with the staff but this is the reason I have trust issues since my dog can’t talk. They gave him a cute & sweet handwritten note after his appointment though. First time he received a love note there but seeing my dog like that broke my heart though.

I used the self-service dog wash for my two pups this morning, and I had a great experience! The young lady who assisted me was very helpful and walked me through the steps of the process, and also recommend a really great anti-flea shampoo for my dogs. It was a very clean and well-organized facility, and was MUCH simpler than trying to wash my dogs at home. I'll definitely be returning for future dog washes and I'd highly recommend!

I gotta be honest.. I have mixed feelings about my experience with Earthwise today. Let me start with the positives: When I scheduled the appointment, they were very clear with me that she would need to be up to date on her vaccines, I got that taken care of, no problem there and I appreciate the communication of that prior to our visit. Additionally, the staff were all very friendly and caring about what Wylie was and wasn't comfortable with. We appreciate that.When we arrived this morning it was a very simple process, they were friendly and we were told it would only take 3-4 hours. 4 and a half hours came around and I decided to call for a Follow up a few times with no answers. Not answering the phone was also an issue when I tried to schedule my appointment. I did finally receive a call back 30 minutes later but was told it would be about 30-45 minutes more as my dog was having issues with the blow drying process. It officially took 6 hours before we got a text that my dog was ready for pick up.My issues are the lack of communication with us and the fact that it took 6 hours for a simple groom on a 35 pound dog and she barely looks different at all. They did do a good job and Wylie does appear to have had a fun time, but what exactly took 6 hours to do?I understand that Saturdays get busy and that there are more than just my dog to take care of, but 6 hours for a light trim? Really? Idk, I really don't want to be that guy... and again the staff were are really nice but 6 hours and poor communication with 2 very anxious pet owners seems a bit excessive. This was our first time getting her a haircut and I just feel that the communication could have been better.

Earth wise did a great job with my babies! It was their first groomer experience and it seems to have gone well. They both had nails, ears, bath, undercoat brushing and drying. I took them to earth wise and they came out to my car to get them. Really easy! I loved their bandanas the pups had on when I picked them up. My corgi still has hers on! 😊 Thank you for a great first groom experience.

Response to EarthWise:You are incorrect about our experience on several levels. It was never offered to have our pups separated from other dogs nor was there any indication that it was an option. Our pups were not matted, so there was no fee waving for that. Also, our pups had been wearing a harness for several weeks prior to coming to your shop, we brought the pups with their harness on and your staff just put them back on after the 'grooming'.I reiterate ... we will NOT be back.We are using a groomer that is experienced, kind and the pups love to see him. The happily run into the grooming salon (with their harness on) and come out beautiful, fragrance free and happy.Initial Review:We took our 5 mo pups for their 1st ever grooming. They were so young and had very little socialization; yet the employees/groomers dropped them into a room with other loose dogs. When we picked the pups up they were literally traumatized. The hair cuts were severe (we asked for a face trim and nails trimmed). We specifically told them no fragrance in any product on them, we even brought our own shampoo, then they used a conditioner with fragrance. Other than what's been stated here, we don't know exactly what all happened, but we do know that since that day when we put their harness on they get depressed and nervous. Prior to the EarthWise experience they didn't mind their harness AT ALL.We will NEVER EVER go back.

I'm so glad that I found EarthWise Pet Supply & Grooming! I took my large, lab-husky mix rescue to get groomed today and am extremely happy with our grooming experience! The staff at EarthWise are all very kind and helpful. My dog gets nervous about getting his nails trimmed but he had no problems and he looks and smells wonderful! I highly recommend them for grooming and the store was full of great quality dog food and treats.

Very nice and helpful staff! We self-bathed our dog and picked out a new harness. They let us try a few of them on him to decide. Bathing station was very handy and stocked with supplies. Also they squeezed us in for a nail trim and grind without an appt and did a great job. Definitely recommend this little shop! Support local businesses!

Excellence experience. The staff was super friendly. I met the groomer prior to my dogs spa day and we discussed the haircut. my expectations were exceeded and my dog was super happy! Sometimes, he gets anxious but not this time! He was cool as a cucumber and no post trauma.
