Easy order, but never underestimate DQ’s ability to totally screw up your food. Either they get your order wrong or the food is horrible. They burnt the hell out of a chicken sandwich. Instead of just remaking it, the cook decided to wrap it up and give it to me. Thanks guys, so glad to see you give a damn. I hate this place, with a passion.

Horrible customer service. Anything but fast food. Waited 20 minutes for an order of steak fingers and when the order arrived it was chicken.strips. Sent it back and waited ANOTHER 20 minutes! And then finally had to go up and ask the guy that brought the wrong order and he'd forgotten about it! My recommendation would be to hit up Whataburger, BK, McDs, etc which are all in the same area. Avoid this place like the plague.

I don’t usually come to Dairy Queen to interact with intellectuals, but was actually impressed with the stupidity behind being asked to pull forward and wait in the drive thru when there was not a single car behind me. That only makes sense when moving the front car allows for a flow thru the line, not just to cause an inconvenience for your customers and staff. Train your staff on the reasoning of your orders vs just being dumb.

ASKED FOR A #1 NO ONIONS EXTRA PICKLES ADD MAYO... AND A BURRITO.GOT NOTHING BUT MAYO AND PICKLES IN MY BURGER...NOT ONLY THAT PAID FOR A LARGE GOT A SMALL...EVERY SINGLE EMPLOYEE INCLUDING MANAGEMENT MOVING LIKE THEY JUST WOKE UP...TOOK 15MIN TO GET BASICALLY A PLAIN BURGER AND COLD FRIES...BURRITO WAS NOT EVEN COOKED ALL THE WAY THRUONLY THING GOOD WAS THE DRINK THAT I SERVED MYSELF...Came thru on the Bus from the Rio Grande Valley on the way to Houston.No way of getting it replaced of a refund13$ in the garbage.Nothing was appetizing BUT my drink...DAIRY QUEEN I NEED A REFUND!!!!

Can't even rate this place properly. Was allowed to wait in line, order, and never recieved anything because the store did not have change. On top of that they didn't even give me all of my money back. Prime example of poor management.

I guess they're short handed at Refugio Dairy Queen. While driving through town we always stop at another fast food place but this day, 5/27/23, decided to stop and eat here. I was instantly impressed with the wall decor dedicated to the Refugio High School football teams and their several state championships! That was really cool to see. It's a nice, big, clean place. Only problem, lots of confusion with food orders. We waited over 30 minutes and then had to go up front to ask if our order was ready. It had been given away was the response so they said they would remake it, only this time they made our burger with everything we had asked not to put on it. I guess they rushed to get our food out since we'd been waiting but someone needs to organize the food order distribution. I love Daisy Queen tho. ❤️

Great place and amazing, friendly guys at the counter who took orders. I stopped here for a quick grab on my way back.Very diligent and quick. I forgot to grab my order # as it was a simple order, the guy who took the order and it was so nice of him brought the food to my table.

No joke, it took 45 minutes to get 2 Blizzards. 😕 Then my husband's cousins came and NOT ONLY was their food delayed, but for some reason the chicken came first, 20 min later, then they forgot about the Blizzard and gave them attitude when asking. And they had to show proof that they bought it and missed it🤦‍♀️. Took them 30 min to get their bkizzard. I know they were short staffed, but that's pretty poor service regardless

Not the best experience.Placed 1 of my orders and the girl just looked at me, I repeated my order in Spanish this time and got the same look, I repeated my order a 3rd time in English and she kinda understood, I also ordered 3 jalapeños andonly got 2, I couldn't complain because on the ticket she only put 2 when i ordered 3, there was noone else there and our order took a while to get out, I went back to the counter and had to wait about 3 minutes for someone to turn around to take care of me, I reuested another side of gravy for my daughters chicken strips and I was charged for it, every other DQ I've been to they give them free of charge 🤦‍♂️

My burger was juicy as always with just the right seasoning. Just wished i would have gotten mayo and not mustard like i asked for. But I was glad it was fresh and hot!. Keep up the good job.Parking: This location is expanding there parking lot and adding more to the look and feel of lots of parking space so that new ride does not get dented or dinged.

Gravy was watered, steak fingers and chicken no flavor. Bilzzard hardly any mix ins in it. All around bad experience took forever to get food. But lately there has been bad service everywhere we go.

Terrible service, and awful conditions. Waited in a line wrapped around the restaurant to order, only to be told the special that was On the DQ App wasn't valid and that "This was Texas!" ??? So rude I left and went to McDonald's. I've always liked DQ, but the one in Refugio, Texas made me a McDonald's customer today. No call to be rude y'all. That's not MY Texas. Do yourself a huge favor and go half a mile further out of Refugio to the other Dairy Quuen

Stopped here on our way home from Houston, never again. I ordered a turtle pecan cluster with added pineapple and when I received my blizzard it was basically melted and watery when I mentioned it to the person at the window they said it was because of the pineapple, when this has never happened before. We also got oreo and cookie dough blizzards which all looked more like vanilla, no color and no flavor.

Very slow service. If you are traveling and stopping by for quick bite/"fast food" this place will waste at least one hour of your precious traveling time. There are other fast foods nearby, next time I will choose something different. And yes their staff also needs rigorous training to deal and behave with customers. Quality of food needs improvement. Not really your hometown regular DQ.

The food at Dairy Queen is always the best food you can grab when you're on the road... I don't eat anywhere else when I'm traveling. And thank God for that! Because a few weeks ago, my son lost his wallet while we were at this location. Afterwards, he had called to leave his number in case they found it. But honestly, we thought it was a lost cause and we would never see it again. However, it was found and when DQ tried to contact him after finding it, he didn't receive any of their calls. So the managers at this location did the right thing, they turned it over to the police and the police were able to contact us. We were so shocked and so grateful! I just had to say thank you so, so much!!! God Bless you all and your amazing staff! 💖

We dined in at this establishment. The cashiers were very nice, one was in training. Both wore masks, along with some patrons. My spouse enjoyed his chicken finger basket, however, my fish sandwich was cooked to a crisp. The fish was so overdone that you could use it to knock on the table. I also ordered a peanut buster parfaits which was its usual delicious self. There is wheelchair access and a wide open floor plan for maneuverability. The tables were clean, but this location could definitely benefit from a makeover (which includes their music selection).
