I wish I could give no stars. They never have the meds in stock and there’s ALWAYS a drive through/pharmacy closure because they can’t keep a pharmacist on staff-very convenient for people who need their meds (sarcasm). I hate this location but believe it or not it’s better than the ones closer to me-Walgreens as an organization just needs to shut down.

I never go to this store/pharmacy but had to today for a covid screening. There was a lady with braids that was working and there was nothing pleasant about her. There was confusion on what my email confirmation said and what she was telling me, so when I start asking questions to help me understand, I apparently was "coming back" at her as she later stated. I unfortunately, normally would have really came back her but something said, noo she's not worth it and is probably miserable in life.I was observing while waiting and she seemed to be a bully amongst the whole staff. They were even comments to the actual pharmacist, who was great today. I'm glad I don't have to go back there. I wish I would have cared enough to get her name so I could add her to my prayers. I really think corporate should come in and take note, and look at their staff but I'm just a paying customer, right?!

Store is great! Pharmacy is the worst from the manager to most of the staff. Pharmacy is definitely a reflection of the unprofessional Pharmacy manager. She definitely needs training in customer service and empathy. What we allow will continue!

This is The worst Walgreens in the metroplex. Prescriptions always delayed for no reason, rude employees by far, and no one seems to care even though they know they are so bad. Sad when Wal-Mart across the street is so much better when your store is literally a Pharmacy.

Unbelievable! Worst pharmacy experience I have ever had. I was getting meds for my family member so they could be discharged from the hospital. The pharmacy didn't start filling the prescription that was sent over around 10am because the insurance information wasn't provided by the hospital so when I arrived at noon to pick up they didn't have it ready and told me it would be 90 minutes before it was filled. I went back after 90 minutes only to be told it still wasn't ready and then they closed the whole pharmacy down for lunch break telling me the meds would be ready at 2:15. I waited in the store and at 2:15 things were still not ready! Finally at 3pm I was ready to leave. Once home it was discovered that the medicine needed an OTC item for delivery and not a single person at the pharmacy consulted me about that. If this had been a refill that might be understandable but I specifically related that this health issues was a brand new diagnosis. I am so dissatisfied and disgusted with the total experience at this pharmacy location in Red Oak, TX I wish I could give 0 stars.

I have no idea why such low reviews. I’m not on hold all day, always pleasant and never ugly and have the medicines in stock or within a few days. Go to CVS!!!! Talk about rude & judgmental.

Would do 0 stars if I could. This has got to be the most incompetently staffed location. Several times I’m told a medication is ready just for it not to be ready. Most recently was a RX called in October 23. Finally got around to picking it up 2 weeks later just to be told they haven’t filled it because they didn’t have the correct quantity in stock??? Why wasn’t this taken care of over the 14 DAYS between the RX being called in and me picking it up? Why was I told that it was in fact ready the day before pick up when I called?Each staff member is on a completely different page. You can call and speak to one and get a funky attitude and ask for someone else who has a decent attitude but no clue what’s going on.Unprofessional, incompetent, rude, slow, unreliable location. Don’t waste your time. Just drive a little further to a different location or choose a different pharmacy!!And FIRE the girl that answers the phone 90% of the time. Her attitude is ATROCIOUS!!

This pharmacy is absolutely horrible. I called on Tuesday to see if my sons heart medication was ready and I was told it would be ready Wednesday at 11am. So at 2pm we get there and they said the medication wasn’t ready. So we wait 30mins and are told to eh don’t have my son’s medicine. And today I was told that there was a problem with the order so we can’t get his medication today. And now I’m being told his medication will come sometime today or Monday the latest. But we shall see if that’s so. This medication isn’t just some antibiotic, this is to keep his heart stable where his life literally depends on this. And this pharmacy just cannot grasped that idea how import this is. You’d think after seeing how low of a rating they have that they would change the way they operate. Beyond ridiculous.

Brookshire closed their pharmacy and sold to Walgreens 😢 ...I called Walgreens yesterday to have my prescription filled and I was told that it would be ready around 11 am the next day.. I called Walgreens today and the girl said that they have to get a new prescription from my Dr. I explained that my Dr just wrote 3 new refills when I was there to see him last month but she said that they have to send another one in and this girl was very hateful when talking to me !!! I went on to ask her how much my medication was and she told me 95 dollars and some change....I paid 4.00 for this same medication at Brookshire...I left Walgreens before because they are always hateful and my medication was never ready when they said it would be and not to mention how they severely price gouge their medications. It is beyond me to understand how Walgreens still even has a pharmacy . I will go out of my way to keep from going here for any reason !!!Just an FYI...Walgreens customer service at their corporate office does not care about how rude and hateful their employees are. In fact if you call to make a complaint they 100 % stand behind their employees. There are much better and much cheaper pharmacies out there that want your business !!!

Slowest drive through on the planet! Waited 10 minutes and not even one car was helped at the window. Went inside, eight people standing in the so-called Express lane. Walgreens sucks!!! Taking my business elsewhere.

This Walgreens has the worst pharmacy in the area and that's a widely accepted fact around town. To the franchisee or owner of this Walgreens: Your employees (In the pharmacy) have horrible customer service ( take a look at all the other reviews saying the same).The whole pharmacy is sketchyTheres always a longer than necessary wait time..I've seen employees take lunch and leave right in front of a long line of customers... with appointments...no one answers the phone...everIf you do get services at the front desk, they're always extremely , extremely rude. ..This pharmacy needs a PBM audit or something..better yet; where there's smoke there's probably fire..audit everything from their customer service, to the medical and financial practices.SHUT IT DOWN..we have CVS down the street.Edit:as of 04/19 - still no word on If the place has been audited or Investigated yet. Same rude employees...atleast refresh the pharmacy staff

Worst store in the DFW area. Have to wait 2 hours in line to get a prescription. Then I call today to get vaccines. They say they have them. Went to the store, wait in line and of course they don’t. Please do not go to this store. Horrible customer service.

Ommggg so slow. Drive thru and in store, the pharmacy is way too slow. I have a sick toddler in the car and had to wait forever for her prescription. They definitely need to fix whatever issue is going on because this is ridiculous. No matter what time you go....SLOW

I work for a providers office and I absolutely hate calling this pharmacy we wait on hold to speak to someone for 27 mins only to be hung up on and start over. This is a pain because we are still in clinic trying to care for patients.. Very poor customer service, I can only imagine what a sick patient goes through to get meds.

I rarely post reviews, but I have had it with this pharmacy! I waited over 35 minutes in the drive thru line today, only to get to the window and they closed for lunch. The staff member was extremely rude! They have messed up my husband's auto refill order for the past two months, having either none of it ready, or only partial. We sat in line over 50 minutes last time, then had to wait for them to get it all ready. First they said we could circle the building and get back in the line! Uh, no!!! Looking for a new pharmacy!

Came in for a flu shot and Covid shot. My appointment was at 4:15, showed up early to register at 4:05 for my son and myself at 4:30. Took them 40 minutes to have us called and done. No, the area was not busy (just myself and son there since 4:05). I see no reason to have people schedule appointments if they won’t honor them or at least let us know there is a delay. They need to work on curtesy and customer service. It goes a long way to say “I’m sorry for the delay we will have someone out as soon as possible l.” Red Oak Walgreens manager needs to address that, it’s just curtesy. Makes CVS look better, at least you can check in with kiosk.

Love this establishment. Particularly, all the pharmacists that work in the pharmacy department. They do not get nearly enough credit for their hard work and having to deal with ugly customers. I appreciate y'all n the whole store!!!!!!!!!🚨 Picking up your medication is NOT the same thing as ordering a burger at McDonald's. Give these people a break🚨

Strictly talking about the pharmacy…it’s 99% of the time more than a 20-30 minute wait even though there 5-7 staff members in the back. No one communicates with each other and staff more slower than the sloth from zootopia. Customer service is average nothing to get excited about. They really need to speed up their process. Prescribed medication has a promise time that 99% of the time is never on time.

Pharmacy has horrible customer service. Terrible hours and slow to fill orders. I had dental surgery and nd needed my antibiotics ASAP and the clerk just took his time. I will never go here for healthcare again. They act like nobody wants to work.

Pharmacy is extremely slow and employees ninja hang up without answering after repeatedly waiting 30 mins for your turn in the queue. Line outside and inside is unnecessarily long as well. Need more staff and competent/motivated staff.

I went here yesterday to use my coupons to buy diapers as I ALWAYS do, I've never had any problems couponing here before. The young lady at the front counter looked at my coupons and told me I can't use them because Walgreens do not accept identical coupons. I informed her I use these coupons all of the time, she went and got the manager and he told me the same thing. I think your employees need to learn their job policy before lying to the customers, coupon policy says "When purchasing multiple items, Walgreens accepts multiple identical coupons for multiple qualifying items as long as there is sufficient stock to satisfy other customers, unless a limit is specified." but instead of me telling them the coupon policy I just told them okay and walked out, I miss all of my reward points for that day to use those coupons, I use coupons at Walgreens all of the time and never had a problem. Walgreens is my favorite store to coupon at because of the great deals, please train your employees more on coupon policy

ZERO stars for this location. This pharmacy is ridiculous and the entire staff are rude and unhelpful. Be prepared to wait several hours for EACH prescription. They don't seem to know what they're doing. Do yourself a favor and go to a different location or better yet, a different pharmacy period!

Went to pick up prescriptions waited in long line for about 30 mins. Then went to the window to get my prescriptions the pharmacist says we are closed for lunch while talking over my mom as she was talking and really needed the prescription it would of taken 2 mins.

I was on hold for three hours and they never answered the phone . All I got from this Walgreens was the recording. I think they have to have a better phone system. I believe this happens because the manager doesn’t check on their subordinates.

Drove up to drive through after spending 3 hours in er with my 7 year old. It was 5pm, they close @ 6pm. First thing the tech asked me is you want these tomorrow, we close at 6:00. I said no, he needs them now. Then the er wrote them for tabs instead of liquids & he said he couldn’t call hospital, it would take too long as they close at 6:00. I totally choose cvs over Walgreens, but my insurance doesn’t allow us to use cvs.

Great and professional service! Ive never had a problem with any rude employees. It might take a little long in the evening but they're definitely better than Kroger Pharmacy on N. Beckley in Desoto.
