I've been happy with this groomer until today. Although I've used them for a while now, I had never met the owner (Bettye) until today. Wow! Customer service is NOT her specialty. Turns out grooming isn't either. 👎First, she berated me for saying I wanted a teddy bear cut. According to her - and she "went to grooming school!" - that's not really a style of cut. She said it's actually called a lamb cut. I agreed that she could call it whatever, but made sure she understood I did not want a poodle cut. When I got home & looked up lamb cut I got a little nervous, as that's not near the same as a teddy bear cut. But I trusted that Nancy (the sweet lady who I have always dealt with) knew what I wanted & it would all be fine.It was not all fine. I was so shocked by the horrible grooming job done on my dog that I grabbed him & left as quickly as possible. They just shaved him all over, absolutely no styling to it. And the shave job is uneven! His legs/paws are scraggly & there's a chunk shaved out of the back of his head. My 9 year old son commented that he could've done what they did!No, I did not voice my complaints while there - what purpose would it have served? They couldn't put back the hair they butchered off my dog!!, and I can't imagine that they actually felt like they had done a good job... they HAD to know this was a disaster of a cut. If this kind of cut gets them repeat business, people have crazy low standards.I don't know what has changed, but horrible customer service combined with a horrible cut has made them lose us as customers, no matter how happy we previously were.

Been bringing my dog here for a while now, and every time, she comes home excited and wagging her tail. My dog is very reactive when getting groomed and hates having her face touched, but both Nancy and Betty are patient with her like no other groomer

Groomingdales is the only place I will trust to groom my Goldendoodle puppy. Betty and her staff take such good care of my Teddy. Betty is so knowledgeable and genuinely loves her profession. I highly recommend them!

I was worried based on the reviews. The vet I use referred me. The lady at the front may not seem warm and fuzzy but wasn’t rude to me. Their hours are amazing. My dogs looked great afterwards and were happy little dogs when I picked them up. I’ll be using them again. Oh and they are extremely reasonably priced. I was so happy overall.

Easy to make an appointment, they don't require proof of vaccinations. Whatever they used on my Bassett hound made him extremely itchy afterwards and you could see the reaction he had on his fur, including redness. I wouldn't recommend this place for pups with allergies. My dog had never broken out like that from a grooming appointment.

I moved here about year and half ago. A veterinarian recommended groomingdales and I have used them ever since. They are the best dog groomers I've ever had. Betty and Nancy are the nicest ladies. They are so loving and kind to all the animals. There is no way either of these ladies would hurt an animal. I would trust my dog with them anytime. Anyone who has any complaints must not go to the same groomingdales than I do.

This is one of the best groomers I have been to. The people are gentle, kind and communicate well. I am very Picky about where my fur babies go and I do not worry one bit when I leave them here with Betty and team! Awesome place!!!

I've been to this facility twice my first time visiting the lady with the dark colored hair was super sweet and very nice and made me feel as if they would take great care of my dog. While dropping off my dog that morning the owner walked in (grey colored hair) didn't speak when greeted with a Good Morning and looked at me as if I didn't belong. Honestly I bypassed it and left my dog because the other lady was very nice. When I went to pick up my dog same thing the lady looked as if I didn't belong the other dark haired lady was super sweet I paid and left a $15 tip on a $45 dollar job. So still a little uneven about the encounter with the owner 3 weeks later I decided to book another appointment.When I arrived this time the owner (grey haired lady) sits closest to the door when you walk in, she didn't speak when I said Good Morning again looked at me as if I didn't belong. The other dark hair lady again came over spoke super sweet even remembered my dogs name and asked me what type of cut would I like today. Before I could speak the owner rudely asked & who is this when I gave her my dogs name she picked up her notebook I'm guessing this was her appointment log, but she looked at it and then gave me the same look as if i didn't belong. At this point I was like ok this is the second time she has been rude for no reason , but as I proceed to tell the dark haired lady how I would like my dog groom the owner rudely interrupts and is literally yelling at me that a term I used for a dog groom was incorrect. I have been getting my dog groomed for 6 years and have never had any issues asking for a teddy bear cut. The owner loudly stated that was an incorrect term for a groomers cut and that she dislikes when customers use that term. I let her continue for a good three minutes before I cussed her out. The owner here is terrible and very rude I feel sorry for the other lady because she is super nice. This business will never see myself, my dog or my money again. Crazy thing is she even proceeded to try and make me keep my dog there as if I would after you tried to scold me for a particular stylegroom that I've been asking for years and have never had any issues. I would've been a fool to leave my dog with this lady and and take a chance on him being treated poorly. I will never visit this facility again the owner needs to learn basic customer service skills.

This place was so great the staff are very nice and understanding when I asked about any concerns I had, they are upfront about the price, they treated our cats with a great deal of care and consideration for their physical and mental wellbeing during the whole thing this is also considering this was their second time ever going to a groomer we are very happy with the service provided

This place is awesome, the groomer is a very nice lady with superior grooming skills. Her prices are affordable, her shop is comfortable and cute. I travel from Desoto to Red Oak just to have her groom my two dogs.

First time visit and they have my business for life! First of all, I should tell you that my dog is an outside dog who loves to roll in the grass and run all over the property. So she was pretty scraggly.I made my appointment for the first available, and it was a week away. They were busy because of the Spring Break rush, but after I saw how beautiful my dog was, I’m absolutely sure they stay busy. Anyway, I had completely forgot about it until about 9:10 (I don’t know where my mind was that day) I immediately called and they said I could definitely still bring my girl in, no problem! Talk about amazing customer service!As I waited for a call to come get here, I was sure they closed at 5pm, I called to double check. They had called me and left a voicemail, that I didn’t not receive until later (ATT issues) They were so polite and were willing to take Dolly home in case I didn’t come get her, and take care of her for me because that’s how great they are and how much they love your pups!Dolly is beautiful and I know she feels so much better after a fresh cut! You could tell as she ran up and down the driveway playing with her friend (our Pit mix). We will definitely be back and as I stated before, they have our business for life! Thank you Groomingdales!

All I did was call to ask a question and basically got chewed out. I am a first time Dog owner, I simply asked about ear grooming and the woman who answered my question was so rude. I hung up and will not recommend to anyone.
