I was at the Dollar General in Red Oak, on Ovilla and Shaun the cashier was very kind and professional. He went over and beyond the call of duty to make me valued as a customer. I'm so happy God used him today because I was feeling very sick earlier.

Happened today 11/26. Ran in to ge t my babies some diapers last minute at 9:50 and they told me they were closed. Ignored me when I tried to tell them I only needed diapers for my baby. I’m a single parent and life is already hard enough now I’m listening to my child cry because he has a wet pamper and I was able to get dry ones. Horrible service. Will never come here again. Need new management and employers.

Good deal I can say.. I have brought over 130 school supplies from this store for this upcoming school year. I caught a great deal and spent less than 100$. I am thankful to give back to the community and help many families that are in need. I met some of my parents in the parking lot and they was grateful and appreciative. I gave them my business card, and left my cards with different businesses. I love my donation business and next year it will be bigger. One of my parents children loved her bags I filled her bag up. I told parents email ASAP with an accurate number of children who needs school supplies because orders go fast. One of parents pulled up real fast and was happy!! All my giveaways come with supplies, clear backpacks, and snacks!!

We had the pleasure of visiting Dollar General with friends and family and had a pleasant experience. We were able to purchase a few items at a very reasonable price. Thr employees were great upon walking in. One employee was at the door waiting to open the door for patrons, and this was a dollar general first. The other employee was woeking the register. As we walked around, we did not notice any slip or trip hazards. We had the pleasure of meeting a man named David. Who spoke about being a pastor and doing the LORD'S work. Which made the Dollar General visit even more special."Our Purpose Is Your Blessing"

So this ghetto store is doing this again we arrived at 9pm a whole hour before the store is suppose to close and a caucasian lady in the store states they are closed so is this a private ran business now where your employees can just shut down the store when they choose to I will def report this staff person and she won’t have a jobDisregard the review above the lady explain there was a so call issue but she was nice maybe her boss told her to close up early..

Great prices, staff very professional, friendly and helpful. The young lady who check customers out is very helpful. Need additional help for stocking items. There's usually no one to stock items for hours sometimes at least 24 hrs after delivery.

Store is always a junky. Seems, as if there isn't enough room for the merchandise they sell. Customer service is usually pretty good. A few times there has been a bad odor in the store. But it's close, and usually have what I need, when picking up something quick.

I just stopped for a 12pk of cokes only to find i left my wallet in my car. I was about to run out and get it when the cashier Gilda kindly paid for my cokes, i insisted I had money in my wallet in the car but she wasn't having it.This moment just made my day and put a smile on my face!Every company on the planet needs more people like her, she is amazing!!!!

Christian Bassford is a pleasure at the check out counter. He is such a nice young man. This Dollar General is very well stocked. I shop here almost every day. It has so much more in it than you would think.

No One, Nowhere and Nothing deserves 5 Stars, Perfection is Make-Believe but when compared to other DGs I've visited, from Tarrant Co to Dallas Co this store is in better shape than most.Dont believe me or if youre wondering how I base my comparisons, just go to their OralCare(Toothpastes and brushes) aisle and see for yourself! See it to believe it! For you were blind but now you see! If you see it, they will come. Seeing is believing. If any 5 items are "near" its price tag on the shelf, then you have a adequate Store Manager. If all you see is a Colgate Headache and still decide to shop there... then you forfeit your opinion regarding any and every other store!!

They have huge rats! My daughter & I was in there about a month ago & saw a big rat sitting on the napkins! & it jumped & ran somewhere. OMG! Haven't been back since. & my husband went after & said there were rat droppings on the back isles. Disgusting! & they have been closed for a few days (long overdue). Hopefully they are getting rid of the rats & the smell.

Place is still disorganized, dirty inside, but still worth going when you need to go somewhere close. Workers are nice and do try their best in keeping the line down. At times they only have one register open and the line is extremely long.

Everytime I go here to look for something they seem to have it. I stopped for orange Gatorade they had it. Wife was making cookies and needed vanilla and brown sugar they had it. Went another day for batteries once again found it. Staff are friendly.

Store in Ferris is all jumbled up. Stock in the aisles. Some workers doesn't know anything. Now the new store in Red Oak are very helpful. And the store is very clean but we will see as time goes on rather it stays that way.

I love Dollar General but it doesn't seem to matter what location I go to...they are all understaffed which means the aisles are packed with products not stocked on the shelves. They did not used to be this way. Not sure what happened?

Prices always differ every time I go in. Yes they gonna raise but legally when they have a sign that still has that same price they have to sell it like that. Companies need to learn if they gonna change prices they need to make sure to take down the old price. I will ALWAYS make sure!

It has been here 3 years or less and have a lot of items and some that you wouldn't think they would carry. We're in the sticks. It is a blessing to have it. Only bad thing is it's crowed all the time because of being the only store unless you want to drive 6 to 7 miles to town.

Store Isles are all ways full of inventory on carts that has not been unpacked, its always a mess in there , the young white guy isn't very friendly seems like he rather not be there , they never have in stock what the other dollar General's have , i stopped going to the 1 in town by jr bbq i go out on ovilla towards ferris its a much better store and the employees are all so friendly and helpful

Variety of products and good price. The only thing I dislike about this location is that the checkout line area is a bit narrow and the lanes at the front are the same. However, the staff is usually friendly and I go to this location often.

I went there last night and the cashier was a kid with long red hair he was being nice to the people in front of me but for some reason when it was my turn to pay he was just looking down the whole time and literally never said one word he didn’t even tell me my total then when he gave me my change it fell and he didn’t try helping me pick it up or even apologizing then he didn’t give my bag I literally had to reach over the counter to get my own bag

This place is always junky and just feels dirty inside and out. They really need to clean it up it looks awful. We went there a couple days ago and purchased some stuff on sale, when we got to checkout they were ringing stuff up at full price including the stuff they had sales on. Im not a happy customer and I won't be going back to that place.

Store's a mess. Full boxes in aisles. Hardly anything on shelves.Update: couldn't find stuff I was looking for. Store was messy and unorganized. Won't be shopping there again.

Quick late night little thing's you need on the way home!! I always save my receipt from them.. because they have a coupon spend $25.00 save $5.00 and that's when I buy all my paper products 😊

I love shopping here. It's convenient and you can't beat the prices. The only issue I have is them not keeping up with the stocking of items which obviously they sell more of.
