Took my Pom here for the first time to get bath, brush, and nails service. Paid $5 extra for nail filing. When driving hime from picking up my Pom, noticed blood on my back seat. When arriving home I checked his back left paw and saw there is a cut which was causing the bleeding. I called the groomer and told her what I saw. She said they didn’t clip his paws that were already short. I sent her the picture. She did offered for me to bring him back so that she could apply some quick stop on his nail bed. I decline as I needed to get back to work. She did apologize and shared that I can apply peroxide. I also notice his anal glands were still dirty with dried feces matter. Not sure if they truly did an anal gland expression and throughly clean back there.

Superb service! My fur baby looked so cute and smelled so good after her service. I was nervous because this was her first professional groom and she isn't very friendly with strangers. I couldn't believe how comfortable and receptive she was when we got there! I was shocked! April's Pet Grooming is now officially our groomer! We'll be back very soon.

I took my dogs to April before and moved out of the area. Now I'm back in the area. Well I took my baby to her because I liked her grooming. She did a good job on my shuz shiz. But when I got her home she was full of fleas. She was so miserable she was scratching and biting and barking at her body. I had to rebath her and put stuff on her to kill the fleas. I want be taking her back. I will find someone else to do my baby.

Sally is my 1st -mini Schnauzer -a pet that has to be groomed regularly.They always do a great job (every 8 weeks)April is my first groomer I have had to used and far as I'm concerned my only one...will not be going anywhere else as long as service stays the sameThank you April and the rest of you ladies that work in the red oak location!

Gave my dog a great cut, and April was very kind and gracious. She gave us a complimentary bath, and now my dog is so clean and smells great! I would definately recommend, although it may be a bit expensive, it is very well worth it. Great service and great atmosphere.

I called yesterday and I was quoted $47 for the service. I dropped my dog off at the time that I scheduled for her and I said I wanted her teeth brushed and nails trimmed. The lady said that would be $15. That’s fine. They called me a couple of hours later to tell me she was ready. They said my cost would be $72. Not only that, but they ONLY take cash or check. Surely, I’m not the only one that doesn’t carry cash around anymore. So, this is another deal breaker for me.I get up there only to find out they charged me $52 for the grooming service + $15 for “the works* + tax.I looked on their website and it says $42 for small breeds. I personally think this should include all the extras (brushing of teeth, nails being clipped, etc.)I wasn’t at all happy with the cut, not sure what they did to my Yorkies ears, but I’m just not overall happy with my experience. I only tried them because I was recommended by someone. I will going back to my original groomer. My original groomer doesn’t charge extra for certain things. It’s all included in the price they quote me. And they sure don’t complain about my 8 month old pup being difficult.I’m not one to typically complain. But this isn’t my place.

I've been taking my 4 very large dogs to April for over 8 years. She's is very professional, knowledgeable, knows the breeds and has an abundance of genuine care and concern for her clients. My schedule is hectic like everyone else but she gladly works me into her shop. I feel very safe leaving my dogs in her care as she has a love for not only her owns pets but for her clients as well. We've all seen groomers that it's about the money that is NOT April. I just wanted people to know how great she really is with my dogs and how great she would be with yours!

I will never use April’s Grooming in Red Oak again!!!This is my second bad experience with my baby. I went last month and when my husband brought him home he had pieces of hair that wasn’t even cut. Me saying no biggie I will just let them know next time he goes.Yesterday, my baby goes and I tell April and Jessica nicely can you make sure Texas is cut evenly it was several patches not cut last grooming. Everyone agreed no problem. When I picked Texas up April didn’t greet or look up which was RUDE as a business owner. Jessica took my payment I said Thank you have a great Thanksgiving and no reply or acknowledgment from April. Her azz never looked up and I thought that was strange.I get home and my baby started acting funny when I touch his back leg. I found a huge CUT under his leg. I called back left message for April to call me back.This morning I get a call from Jessica which she was calling for another dog with a different name. I said no this is Texas mom I left a message in regards to Texas being cut. OMG this chick had the worst attitude I had to tell her WAIT you called me. She said well I haven’t check the messages yet. I explained to her about Texas she ask me to text her the pictures which I did and she would have April call me back.I get a phone call back NOT from April but Jessica tells me YES April said she saw it and thought it was a HOT SPOT or RINGWORM…WTH I said NOPE If I addressed a bad hair cut you know I would have addressed a OPEN wound. Now you lying!!!!!I told Jessica as a business owner she should have called me before grooming to tell me what she THOUGHT you seen OR just be honest and say sorry I cut TEXAS by mistake. No one what’s to take responsibility of there action. So sad!! I’m taking my lesson and moving on. No apologies given.NEVER NEVER Again!!

I'm a new pet owner to a 10 wk old pup Rocky. I was skeptical about leaving my pup with a stranger, after his visit to the vet. He was very unhappy, when he returned, and has now been very anxious. I was happy when I picked up my pup from April. He was so happy!!! He smelled awesome, and was in such a great mood!!! April was very sweet, and professional. She did a great job, and I could see her love for pets when my pup was returned to me. We will definitely be back.

I had a great experience. Took my easily excited 15 month Australian Shepard mix to get a bath and nails clipped/filed. I wasn't sure how he'd do. When I returned he was prancing around behind the counter and loving on a young man and the groomer. They said Remy did great. He was in no hurry to leave. That's a great sign of excellent care. No a bit of anxiety when I returned for him. A stress free visit. I'm already on the schedule to return. I think I found out forever groomer💜

New to Texas. I am a dog groomer myself but don't have to space in my home to set up a grooming station in my home. Met a neighbor who had a little dog with a great hair cut, she referred me to April's, I have 2 older standard poodles that are pros on the groom table. The cuts were excellent the time spent in shop was awesome, the groomer was great. I booked my appointments out to December of this year to guarantee my furbabies get their regular treatment.

I love April's and my 3 dogs love April's. I trust her with my dogs and they come out of her shop smiling. My dogs are very picky about groomers since we have had abusive groomers before. I moved 30 miles away and still drive back to her shop for my dog's grooming for peace of mind.

I have been taking my dogs to April for at least 3 years now. April always does a fantastic job. One of my dogs is a blind poodle, and another is an elderly mix. I consider both as special needs, and April always treats my babies with kid gloves. They come home looking fabulous every time. Her prices are good, hours and location are convenient. I wouldn't consider taking mine anywhere else.

We have 2 small dogs that both have to get full service grooming every 3-4 months.We have lived in Red Oak for almost 5 years now. I took my little shih-tzu there when we first moved here, and now our current 2 small dogs are going. There is no place else I'd rather take my fur babies to for their spa days than to April's Pet Grooming. She does an excellent job every time! She cares about her clients, and her work and it shows!

We have been taking our Benji to April's for several years and the only time we went elsewhere is when they were closed for Baby being born. April was great with my dog. My dog was a stray when I found her and I took her to April to get a bath, her nails and hair cut and she look like a totally new dog. I will recommend anyone to take their dog to April. She is wonderful.
