The guy William at deli(serving the chicken) was extremely rude and short. Was short on giving prices and when we tried to make small talk such as are you new here he snapped with a NO, we just turned around and left, employees should not be rude to customers like he was.

Prices scare you at first but the store is always clean and the products are good not to mention the customer service is top notch. I'd pay a little more not to deal with the Walmart crazies!

Different stores and different franchises in different places have i find vastly different people from location to location..this location has the most fantastic staff the friendlyest atmosphere, it is the most organized anf well kept locations that i have ben to...great job brookshires!!

Little pricey and points toward fuel only works with physical card. Overall,friendly, courteous, helpfully. Good produce,deli and great bakery.

Store is nice,clean and well organized staff is friendly, self check out bots arent overly annoying. My gripe is the bathroom is tooo small. There is one urinal and one comode. And 1/2 the time the comode is occupied.

I am from Fort Worth visiting my mother here in Quitman. I was happy to see how clean and well organized the store and sheves were. Also I felt very welcomed as every employee that I encountered made a point to greet me with a smile and offer assistance. From Brittany the store director to Daniel who bagged my items and loaded them in my vieichle. Thank you Brookshires for easing the pain of high grocery bills with your kindness and professional attitude.

Want to say I usually get good service in Quitman, Tx but this was not the case today. Went to store at 5:20 p.m. to get fried chicken, bacon, porterhouse steaks and cat food. Went to deli and asked if there was more chicken done and the young male attendant said yes so I asked if I could get 8 pieces of fried chicken but the 5 pieces they had in the case looked like it needed to be thrown away. He started putting the 5 dried out pieces in a box and I asked if I could not purchase those as they look like they have been there a while. He said if I want fresh it will be 20 minutes. I said I thought there was more done, he said if you want fresh I’ll put it down but it will be 20 minutes. I told him I would pass on the chicken.Went to cut steaks to get two porterhouses but there was only one and a bunch of family packs(they were in your ad this week). An adult attendant there asked if I needed anything and I said I wanted to get 2 steaks. He said there aren’t anymore individual pack in the back only family packs. I said I didn’t need 6 steaks but thank you. He said that someone could break down a family pack if I really needed them to. Seriously, don’t want to put you out!! I said no thank you I’ll go somewhere else.You did have bacon and cat food though. Was not your best day Brookshire, hope this isn’t indicative of future visits!!!!

This rating is for the pharmacy. Just heard they have sold out to Walgreens. The little man continues to disappear. Find a small local company that cares and needs your support.

The Quitman Brookshires has gone downhill. When I moved here several years ago I was always greeted when I came in the door. Workers were always helpful when I needed to find something. Cashiers were always friendly at checkout and the ones who sacked your groceries and got them loaded in your car were great. Now it's pretty much a smaller version of Walmart with much higher prices. Might as well go there if I have to sack and load my own groceries. Will save some $ that way .....

As this is a retirement community, it is sad that only one checker on duty except for the do it yourself line. Prices going up and service is going down. Not only do we bag it ourselves but have to take it to the car and since their are no cart returns you have to bring it back inside. Lots of time wasted for seniors. Just as soon go to Walmart at least they have cart returns in the parking lot and prices are cheaper. Didn't mind the price difference as we got friendly home town service. No one pays me to do someone else's job.

I moved here 2 years ago from Dallas. This is an amazing store! Over 150 varieties of wine, good organic choices, always VERY clean and well stocked. The absolute nicest group of employees I've ever seen. And the food in their deli is tremendous. Best friend chicken I've ever had.

This store is always stocked and they carry things that you can't find anywhere around. If you get their weekly ad Emails you can get really good discounts along with their club card which gives you discounts on their gas. It's a win win with Brookshires!!

Brookshire's in quitman texas is absolutely awesome the people there are friendly and extremely helpful, The deli has the best chicken and chicken fried steaks I've ever eaten.

I like Brookshire's a lot. Now, they are a bit pricey on some items as compared to somewhere like Walmart. However, that is expected due to walmarts huge buying power. The only semi complaint we have ever had with Brookshire's is the meat tends to be a little "Tough". We always get the NY Strip but man it is just a tough cut of meat from this place. Otherwise, it's nice and feels down homeish.

Love all the remodeling and new items at the back of the store. Great deli choices. It is nice to have a drive up pharmacy though I've yet to use it.

Brookshire’s goes above and beyond any other grocery store I’ve been to. I’ve lived in several parts of Texas and the US. The curbside experience here is truly the best. The personal shopper, Anum, sent me a text letting me know that she had started my order and what was not available before I got there. She work with me on the substitutions.Yesterday, I went home with something better than I ordered. The item I searched for on the store app only showed one choice. Anum let me know there was another option. My preferred choice of beverage. I also had shopping instructions to check every expiration date and they did! Nothing was expired. 🤩 I will definitely be back again. This is my preferred choice of grocery store!!!

This is a grocery store. Friendly staff and will point the way to what you need. They do have a deli with many items to choose from. I do like the deli and yes they do have prepared hot items such as chicken fish potatoes stick's and other items cooked and ready for take out.
