Tanks are littered with dead fish, including this minnow tank that appears to have had a mass die off.Wasted a trip up to Prosper because this Pet Smart was supposed to have a good aquarium section. :/

Took both dogs to Casey the groomer. When asked if she could hold one of my dogs so I could fill out paperwork she told me she wasn’t able to. Also was told by her that if my dog experienced trouble standing she would have to stop the grooming, even if not finished, and would not be able to finish. Seriously??!!! All of my past groomers have been able to work with him and do a great job. Don’t you have supports for this?? I was told it would take 3-4 hours to complete even though there was only an hour in between appointments.Once I picked them up, Casey told me she did the best she could and the job might not be that good. In fact, it was a botchy and looked bad. My other dog, had no medical issues and his hair cut was messy too. Long strands of hair and areas not cut evenly, terrible job. When I got them home, they didn’t smell like they had a bath. Still smelled like a dog being outside. Once I got home I forgot my receipt and called and spoke with Casey. She told me she could not send or email me another copy. My opinion is management needs to review the groomers work. I will not be back… Poor customer service and poor grooming!!!

It’s so unsettling reading the other reviews because the sentiment is consistent across the board. DO NOT LEAVE YOUR FUR BABIES WITH THE MEAN GROOMERS AT THIS LOCATION. I visited this location three times, to have my puppy groomed. The staff have never been super friendly but this last time today, put the nail in the coffin. My puppy had an apt scheduled for 9am. When I arrived at the desk, no one was there to greet me and I saw one of the groomers in the salon just scrolling on the computer. I waited several minutes prior to tapping the window to let her know I was waiting. When she came to the check-in register, she didn’t greet me at all. I said hello to her TWICE & she still didn’t acknowledge me. She proceeds to say “ who is the apt for “ with the absolute nastiest attitude, and STILL had not acknowledged me addressing her. I told her to cancel the appointment because I was not comfortable leaving my dog in her care, out of fear that she would mistreat my dog.Whoever is the GM of the prosper location, needs to take more pride in the staff they have representing their store. The overall energy of the staff toward customers is absolutely shameful.The petsmart in Frisco is much better, the ladies are KIND & accommodated my last minute request for a same day appointment.

Really poor customer service! We booked a grooming appointment for my dog at 10am.When we went to the location the door was locked and we couldn’t get in. This is on Easter Sunday so google said they would open at 11am. So we thought the person on call didn’t realize it when booking an appt.The person who I spoke to on the call did not tell us that grooming is open at 10am but the door would be closed and that we would need to call them to open the door.I went to the location at 10am, saw that the record was locked. and I was at the location waiting until 11am and then finally went in to hear that they wouldn’t take my dogs grooming and that it’s our fault that we didn’t call them. The manager says that she was parked outside the door and that she’d never seen us wait at the door - essentially telling us we lied. I was baffled when they said that and told them to check the cameras. They ended up not taking my dog for grooming. Never going to petsmart after this experience.

0/5 if I could. DO NOT COME HERE. This place never wants to help me and my husband we’ve had so many issues with products from their petsmart and tried to return it and they refuse to help. They also, didn’t want to accept an unopened tank that we had. & it’s clear as day they are RACIST to us every single one of their workers Travis, the old lady with grey hair and the middle aged woman with glasses and short hair.They greet all the caucasians that walk in and walk out but never greet us or have a smile on their face they just shove us away every single time. We are never going back to this location despite it being very close to our house. We’ve bought so many things from petsmart numerous of times and never had an issue until we came to this location. Don’t waste your time go elsewhere!They don’t care about people or their pets. Every time we come in here their bearded dragons have feces all over their tank and we have to continuously tell them to clean it. Now we’re just going to report them for negligence. It’s very sad to see, they don’t deserve to have any animal in their possession.

I’ve only used the grooming services here, so my review is based on that. Natalie did a great job with my pup, but Casey was pretty terrible and had an awful attitude at pickup (and was late to work, to boot). Both times, I paid for service upgrades and I’m not sure either one was performed. Most recently, I paid for the Winter Special Package PLUS which says it comes with an array of things including a bandana, cookie, and $200 of coupons - I received none of that. They seem to be perfectly content ripping people off with the extras.

I take my dog to Natalie, the groomer, and she always does an amazing job. I definitely suggest using her. The price is reasonable, and I'm content knowing my dog is in good hands.

Not impressed with the fact they couldn’t shave my dog due to him being antsy. I usually wash them myself, I felt like this was a waste of money and time. Had a bad experience with petsmart in another city, things haven’t changed.

All Choked Up.My experience was similar to others who gave 1 and hoped to be able to give 0.I took my 7 months old white standard poodle female in for grooming to this prosper store. I have used PetSmart in Florida and always had a great experience.Jan 2022, she was groomed in Clearwater Florida and the groomer was excellent and Snowball was very happy.In March I took her to PetSmart in Prosper TX. The only opening they had was on a Sunday morning with a groomer who was in training, Ok.From the start of check-in she was condescending and RUDE! She constantly talked down to me. Would not answer my questions. Such as the extra 15.00 charge. I simply asked what it was for, and she tapped on the paper that I was to sign and said "Ma'am its right there". Still ok. Then she starts looking over my puppy and pulls on her leash heading for the back. I asked why she was taking her in the back suddenly and I got another snotty answer without her even turning her head to look at me. I became really worried about my puppy. My husband told me "We are not leaving her get her back". When she returned, I requested that she bring Snowball out so we could take her home. She became ruder. I told her I don't want my pet to be treated like that and am not comfortable leaving her. She brings her back with the leash on her and as we were putting her harness on this groomer kept pulling tighter and tighter choking my puppy. I asked her stop choking her and she pulled tighter! My dog was struggling to catch her breath. I put my finger under the leash and pulled it off her neck. Broke my heart to see her treated that way. I asked for a manager but was told none were there, so we left.Apparently, there is a note on my account that I cannot get grooming service at this location like others that have commented here.Next time I will call the police for animal cruelty.I would not use this grooming service.I have taking her to other groomers, and they all love Snowball and are very kind to her.See her precious picture below.

Took my one year old pup for a haircut and a bath on Saturday 12/10. They took forever to have him ready just to realize they cut him under his beard. Accidents happen but not disclosing them is just unacceptable.What you see in the picture is my dog scar, 5 days after.

I have three King Charles Cavaliers that get groomed regularly by Brandi. She knows my dogs names and takes awesome car of my fur babies!! She always goes above and beyond and my pets haircuts always looks great. I highly recommend her for your pets grooming needs!

I don't usually leave reviews but I was very upset. I called yesterday to make an appointment for my 2 Goldens to get pawdicures for Monday at 5pm. I was told I dont need to make an appointment, just to come in. I came in at 5pm and waited 25 min, which is fine. When it was my turn the groomer said she doesn't have time for 2 pawdicures. I told her how I called and was told to come in. She said, " well, we are about to close so we don't have time. I'd have to do it and I'm already behind" The lady before me, who was waiting for her dog, told the groomer that I had been waiting for a while. The groomer said, " Well sorry we are about to close" it was 5:25pm and the other groomer had just arranged for another lady to pick her dog up at 7pm. It's frustrating when you try to make an appointment, they tell you not to, then lie about closing and send you away without any care. I called the front to let them know what happened, and they did not care either. I didnt even get an im sorry. I will not be going back. Customer service is horrible.

Worst experience with Brynne W! I was a loyal customer from PetSmart for more than 3 years, today I went to the prosper location with my 2 dogs and Brynne W was suppose to take care of them on the grooming section, this person acuse my one year and half dog of been aggressive when that had NEVER happens this was the first time her been the groomer my dog took training classes at PetSmart since she was a puppy and in every visit Mia was congratulated for her perfect behavior! this person was since the beginning of the checking trying to not do the grooming and showing a bad actitud to the point my dog was scare to go to herFor them it may not be important that only one customer left PetSmart specially because they are only the employees but I want to express my bad experience so everyone take care with there pets

Shoutout to Krista and China for always making my senior girl look gorgeous!! I have taken my pups to many Petmarts in the past and have been truly let down. These two girls have restored my faith and it’s a pleasure to bring Peaches because they do such a fantastic job and care for her so much! Highly recommend!!!

Very clean store with a variety of fish and reptiles. I’ve never seen a turtle with almost human looking eyes. It was so creepy it was cute! Staff was very helpful.

Done with this store even though it’s convenient. The medicated boy slurring through questions and suggesting we check Amazon for stock instead of looking up his own store tipped us to use Dallas Parkway instead. They have a few great staff and it’s a beautiful store but often just not worth the trip to deal with the poor ones killing time.

On two separate occasions I went in after calling to confirm the hours to have my dog's nails trimmed. The groomers were closed each time. The call center gave erroneous information (even after I specifically requested grooming hours at the Prosper location). When I arrived an employee told me the groomers finish at 7pm not 9pm. I returned the next day at 6pm to find a note on the salon door, stating they were closed.So much for a walk-in service. I will not be returning as they have no consideration for my time.

If I couldn't give it a star, I wouldn't, I've come here to buy pets for my children, I come constantly. but today I was served by a man who was so grumpy, he treated me badly and did not want to sell the shackles, he does not know how to work under pressure, much less serve a client. he threw the shackles on the table and didn't even want to collect them, it was a racist treatment unfortunately I couldn't defend myself because I didn't speak the language. The rest of the people who work here are good because they have already taken care of me and with dedication, but this man apparently was in his worst days.I come from Aubrey to buy my children's chameleon crickets. and he told me to come back tomorrow. to buy them. What happens ?

We came here on 2 different occasions this week to get an aquarium and fish. The people that helped us were so knowledgeable and friendly. There was one girl who helped us that was especially helpful towards my daughter who was picking out the fish. Their tanks are clean and everything looks well taken care of - much more than other pet stores I’ve seen in the area. When we are ready for more fish, we will definitely be back!

We always shop for our pets at PetSmart. This particular trip, though, I won a grant to get a pet for my classroom and had very specific parameters for what I could purchase. The employee that helped me was very kind and knowledgeable about the items I was looking for and helped me tremendously!

We were able to purchase a large one door crate at a reasonable price $59.99. It is a sturdy crate solid crate that held up with a one year old Great Pyrenees for several hours . Recommend putting zip code in for curbside pickup to verify crate is im stock.

People told me not to go to PetSmart they are the worst. But i gave them benefit of doubt and went to PetSmart Frisco and had an amazing time, Staff is very friendly and very polite. HOWEVER, this is about PetSmart PROSPER who are just the worst people, they will embarrass you they will judge you (racists) and they will talk to you like you owe them your life. Just because it was there lunch time in another 30 min they called us early and behaved very rudely. Thank god we didnt give our baby to them otherwise god knows what would they do behind the doors.NEVER GOING BACK TO PETSMART PROSPER.Also, we took a package in which first thing was to trim the nails and they forgot about it.

Christian is the BEST groomer I've ever had for my fur babies. Today, I was an hour late for Benji's grooming, and Christian was still willing to see him. I appreciate his efforts so much and went even as far as calling me to remind me of my appointment. Plus, he always takes such good care of my babies! Thank you so much Christian!

Lack of sales/support staff almost made me leave without making my purchase. The Fluval FX6 I purchased was covered in a layer of dust, which caused a bit of concern. Do people tidy up displays anymore? How much time does it take to wipe down items weekly with a duster?

Do not bring your dog here for training, Iv taught my dog more when I’m drunk. Two groomers also lied and said my dog bit them when he won’t even bite me when I play rough with him. Luckily the grooming manager took control of the situation and groomed my dog phenomenally. Will be coming back to get groomed by one person ONLY.

**Worst grooming experience**If you have a doodle please do not take your dog here to the salon. The groomer Kasey, she cut both of my dog’s ear and we were not notified until we called to check and see if our dog was ready to be picked up.Once we called she advised as part of pets mart policy, we will need to take her to the vet and get checked out. So they were going to take our dog to the vet without notifying us of the situation.Our dog was at the salon until 1700 and when we picked her up, her hair was all uneven and nails not trimmed. I’m not to sure what the groomer was doing but this is unacceptable.Please do not take your pet here for any grooming services.

Do not come to this Pet Smart the Assistant Manger and Manager are so rude!!!They sold me a product for fleas. And it did not work. And I talked to another associate and they are getting rid of the brand entirely bc it does not work and has bad reviews. They would not return my products and didn’t even want to return the unopened one.Five down the street to the PetSmart In Frisco they were so nice and returned it no hassle and recommended a product that would work and gave me tips to get rid of fleas. That’s the type of customer service you are suppose to give your customers!!
