This was the first time I utilized Pet Supplies Plus grooming service in Prosper. The groomer Sharlet was awesome. 5 stars! I love the fact that she actually had photos of prior dogs she groomed that look similar to Bronco. It gave me instant relief. She is patient and really listens to your grooming preferences. Very professional and personable. I felt safe leaving my dog with her! Pet Supplies Plus, please keep her because I really love Bronco's cut, and he did, too. ❤️Note to Sharlet: Bronco and I will see you in a few weeks!

I normally take my mini goldendoodle, Chewie, to a groomer off Preston which has been a bit of a trek given all the traffic on fishtrap and 380. My friends in Windsong had taken their new puppy for her first grooming here and couldn't say enough good things about their experience so I decided to give it a go and couldn't be happier.The process was very smooth and she really took to heart my requests from what I wanted for services to exactly how I wanted the cut to look. I will definitely be coming back here from now on and highly recommend them for any grooming needs. The store itself is also very clean and staff was really nice.

It’s located off of 380 and if you live around here you understand. Horrible traffic. The store was nice, parking easy. I bathed my dogs here I wish the customers would clean up some after themselves or the employees had a 10 minute rotation to keep area clean.

Sharlet is the best groomer, and Pet Supplies Plus grooming services cost less than most other grooming-specialty establishments (PetBar, Pet Evolution, etc.). She is so friendly to your furbaby, and really takes her time rather than rushing through the drying like they do at PetBar. I will continue to bring my GSD/black lab mix here.

12/19/23 I found Pet Supplies Plus in a google search for "dog grooming." I wanted to get my 2 dogs in for baths. There were no available appointments until Dec. 29th. I decided to go to the store anyway to check out their self bath option and I wanted a new double leash. I found the leashes but I only found ONE double retractable leash and the body weight limits didn't jive with my 2 dogs I found no one to ask for assistance.The two girls at the counter seemed busy and I didn't want to bother them. I looked around the store hoping to find a floor employee (I didn't). I found a couple Christmas dog toys on SALE. They were Play On Holiday Dog Toy Plush Popcorn and Play On Holiday Dog Toy Plush Gnome. The tags on the end cap read $5.48 and $5.98. There was a big red SALE sign hanging over all the Christmas themed toys. I also picked up a couple of individually wrapped pig ears.I went up to a counter to pay. There were two employees and two registers. One employee was busy checking someone out and the other employee was standing next to her chatting. I went to the register without any customers assuming when the chatty employee saw me she would stop talking and walk the few steps over to check me out.That isn't what happened.She gave me a glance but chose to ignore me. I just stood there.Finally a male customer came up behind the person getting checked out at the other register.The chatty employee noticed him right away and proceeded to tell the man that she could help him over here and pointed to the register that I was waiting to be helped at.I stepped back but the man was clearly uncomfortable cutting in front of me. The chatty employee kept pointing and saying to him I can help you right here. It was very obvious that the young employee was choosing who to help at the register and it wasn't based on who was waiting the longest.When you get to be a senior, you get brushed off and ignored a lot so I let it slide.The man seemed as baffled as I was why he was being told to cut in front of me. He finally said that he had forgotten something and walked off.She had no choice but to finally assist me.I stepped back up to her register.I set the toys and a couple pig ears back down on the counter to pay. Chatty wasn't chatty with me at all. I was asking her (trying to anyway) about double leashes and stated that I found one back there for dogs up to 16 pounds and wanted to know if they made double retractable leashes for bigger dogs. She said that she didn't think they carried anything like that. I told her you DO carry them but I only saw ONE for smaller dogs. She said in an annoyed tone, "Whatever we got is back there. "Ya got a phone number with us?"I said, "No, this is my first visit to your store." She blurted the total which was over $25 for two $1.88 pig ears and two "half price" toys. The man had come back and was standing behind me so I didn't want to hold anyone up. I paid and left, feeling taken and angry at how I was pushed aside.When I got home, I looked on their website. The toys are half price. The cost to me, however, was full price. I gathered from online that you had to be a member to get a sale price.The reason for the 1 star review is simply that I feel I should have been told that. The girl should have said when she asked if I had a phone number with them that I could become a member or pay full price. She didn't. She didn't go out of her way to do anything but take my money.Employees can make or break a business and this employee is doing the latter.I won't go back there to shop, groom my dogs, get a grooming appointment, or anything based on this bad experience. There are friendlier places to do business.

First time buying from this particular location. So far so good. Well stocked and clean store. Employees are friendly and welcoming.Good customer service, which I hope continues.

I took my Shadow for grooming today and Sharlet was wonderful with her. Shadow has anxiety issues and is normally very nervous but Sharlet made her calm immediately with her soothing voice and touch. It is a 35 minute drive for us to the Prosper location but well worth it and Sharlet will be the only groomer we will use in the future.

The manager at this location is beyond rude. I was under the impression that the stigma behind pittbulls' were behind us. Unfortunately, at this pet supplies plus the staff is very much delusional and harassed me throughout my visit. I was just taking my puppy to use the wash station when I was bombarded by the "manager" herself. She apparently had another customer who was acting hysterical because MY dog didn't have the "right" collar on. Yet, my dog actually does have a perfectly good collar and an 80 dollar vest on. She was perfectly restrained and she never would hurt a fly. Instead of the "manager" containing her customers unreasonable emotions about a dog she has no right to be worrying about in the first place, she instead bothered ME. Apparently siding with her customers emotional reaction to my dog solely based on her breed. According to this "manager" she couldn't believe I did not have a muzzle on my dog, and that her collar and vest were not suitable enough to contain her. JUST INSANE. After I ensured her that everything is fine and that my VET told me this was a great vest she still insisted that I purchase something from her store that would make everyone feel safer. First of all, no one asked for your pushy sales and secondly, shouldn't you be comforting your customer? Or crying in the corner with her for all I care. Someone please tell me how you can be afraid of dogs yet work at a pet supplies place? Maybe you should spend your time else where instead of making visits from REGULAR PAYING CUSTOMERS UNBEARABLE. Don't waste your money here, the next location is only a couple of blocks away.

Independently owned franchises with a commitment to customer service. Conveniently located near Windsong Ranch and US-380. Our golden retriever’s food has been hard to find, and this location received several bags and held two for us. When we arrived one of the employees carried the two large bags of food to the cash register and also to our car. Terrific customer service! Support our local businesses.

I came in to by cat food, and I was waiting in line for a while. The couple in front of me I thought was checking out. But it was really just the cashier flirting with her boyfriend for 10 minutes before I was able to check out. When I went to the counter the cashier was very rude like I was to much of a bother.

The store is always clean and organized. The staff is polite and willing to assist you in finding what you need. They have always offered assistance in loading the giant bags of dog food into my suv.The pet bathing area is always clean and the patrons with animals are courteous to one another.
