Called the store at 11:00am asking about propane refills and was advised propane services would be available at noon. Arrived at 12:20pm and was advised it would be another 30 minutes until propane refills were available. There was a whole line of propane customers by that point. Please advise of accurate information as this propane thing seems to be an ongoing issue here.

Super nice staff! I needed to change the battery for my vehicle's key for and the staff assisted me and was really quick and professional! I highly recommend them! They also have a large variety of various things! They have strong knowledge of their equipment! 10 out of 10!

Absolutely love this store! The entire staff is always so helpful. The store is clean and things are easy to find. No one talks down to you because you're a woman. And Lee went out of his way tonight to answer all my questions about generators and preparing for the possibility of another bad winter. I will ALWAYS come here first before driving to Mckinney for anything.

Went at 4:30 1/15 for propane. Lady with a nose ring said they were out but went outside and looked they had a bunch of tanks with blue tags showing they were full. Went back inside where lady said she’s not allowed to sell propane. To me that just showed this employee did not want to help me. I suggest going somewhere that’s willing to help customers.

Friendly local hardware. I always find what I need when I go. However, the prices feel significantly high enough that I have walked away and deferred my purchase till I could find it elsewhere at a more affordable price. $.40 for a 4 mm machine screw is too high for my tasteand $19 with no alternative for a pair of vice grips for home use… Definitely a no go but I love the people they are very pleasant there and friendly. And like I said, I always find what I need there, sometimes I get it, and sometimes I don’t.

Lee was very helpful in finding the parts required to hook-up my Weber Propane Gas Grill to our 500lb tank in the back-yard, spend approximately 30 min to find the right solution.I love Ace Hardware!

Don't place online orders with this location. Neither delivery or pickup. They'll just cancel with no justification or notice. Best to pick a different Ace Hardware.

I am updating my review as I had another excellent service, I went near the store closing hour and didn’t find what I was looking for but on my way out Isabel made sure that I got what I wanted. Thank you for going beyond and above!I haven’t had such an excellent service. I went to buy a lawn mower yesterday, they were so friendly and eager to help their customer. The lawn mower I chose didn’t fit in my car, not only did they help me during the store visit but also delivered it so fast, I was notified in advance of when it will be. I have found a store!Thanks!

They have a well organized store and helpful staff. I was able to find hardware (a specific size/thread bolt) here that I could not at Home Depot and Lowes, both of those stores drawers were completely disorganized and I couldn’t find what I was looking for if they had them. It was refreshing to see Ace’s was perfectly organized and had exactly what I was looking for even though it was a slightly obscure/rare type of thread.

We purchased many items from this store but today we had different experience since casher called Adrian R store #124 kept typing wrong quantity of purchased (we kept telling him 10 pieces and he was typing one) and wrong price (much less that what it cost) and was so rude as well. Hope the owner pay attention.

BEWARE OF FRAUD, THE ACE HARDWARE DEFRAUDED US; THEY’RE SELLING USED MERCHANDISE AS NEW AND ONCE WE CAUGHT THEM THEY REFUSED TO REPLACE THE CHAINSAW. THE STIHL CHAINSAW WE PURCHASED HAD ISSUES STARTING FROM DAY ONE AND HAS BROKEN PIECES INSIDE, INCLUDING THE SPARK PLUG INSULATION, WIRING, CARBURETOR, SWITCHES, BAR, AND HANDLE; IT ALSO HAD WEAR AND TEAR AND WHEN WE CONFRONTED THEM AND ASKED THEM TO GIVE US A BRAND NEW CHAINSAW THEY CLAIMED THAT ALL THE NEW CHAINSAWS NEEDED TO BE UNPACKED AND TESTED IN THE BACK WITHOUT THE CUSTOMER PRESENT. THEY ALSO TOLD US THAT WE HAD TO BUT THE T-WENCH THAT COMES WITH CHAINSAWS SEPARATELY. THEN WHEN WE PURCHASED A SERVICE KIT THEY GAVE US RANDOM PARTS THAT WONT FIT THE CHAINSAW AND CLAIMED THAT WE ABUSED THE CHAINSAW. WE’LL BE FILING LEGAL ACTION TO SEE TO IT THEY STOP DECEPTIVE CONSUMER PRACTICES AND WILL BE CONTACTING STIHL ABOUT THIS!

Unfortunately this Ace Hardware doesn’t even deserve the one star I’ve rated them. If I could give zero I would. As a professional contractor my business has dealt with the Princeton location over the past 3-4 years spending roughly 10-15k per Christmas light season. This place is difficult and near impossible to deal with. Their customer service, attitudes, and overall performance within the store are completely unacceptable. The managers and assistant managers act as if the smallest task everything is a hassle and inconvenient. These people are absolutely miserable. I feel sorry for most of them and wish them better. Save your money and time. Try Ace Hardware in McKinney. It’s only another 15 minute drive and will save you the headache and uncomfortable interactions with the staff and management. Super unfortunate

I got a chainsaw and in the first hour of using it the chainsaw started smoking. I got the 4 year warranty so I brought it back that same day and they didn't let me return it and they then said they could fix it for 140 bucks and the chainsaw was less than that. They told me that I must have had the brake on so it's not covered in the warrenty. I happen to know the brake wasn't on. I've used a chainsaw for 30 years so I would know if the brake is on. I don't know if they just thought that since I'm a women I wouldn't understand how a chainsaw works and I would be ok with them not honoring the warranty but they were highly unprofessional and rude to me. I will definitely be either going to a different ace from now on or a different store.

I like coming here cuz they usually have what it takes to complete my project. The employees don't always have their minds on the job. My reception is usually an "indifference" on their part. There's no greeting or don't acknowledge you and continue putting up their stock oblivious to your presence. They need to learn how to be more proactive with customers.I give them four stars for having plenty of stock on hand but two stars for customer service.
