Dr. C is our go to Vet. The vets is about 35 min drive from us. But we love her. She has taken care of my dog and he has so many issues with his heart. I know I can count on her to know what to prescribe to him. She has extended his life past the time we would have ever thought for him. For that we are soo soon grateful. The staff is sweet and kind. Even when my dog has an accident they are understanding and not mean to us. I will be taking my 1 yr old dog her as well. The prices are reasonable for Prescriptions. Also Dr. C IS NOT pushy with x-rays, Prescriptions, and other things. She let's us take our time to come to our own decisions and then take her advice. She is loving to my dog and the staff is too. My family is forever grateful to her and the staff.

My schnauzer of 14 years passed away here. They were so kind, caring, compassionate, and emotional with us. Even with it being our first visit we knew this was going to be our new vet with how they got us in and made the process so peaceful and not rushed

I can't even say enough words about how wonderful this clinic is. We lost one of our great Danes and the compassion and support the staff gave was beyond every expectation! We were so impressed with the work put into our puppies ashes...beautiful cedar box with a candle and a paw print pin...along with a certificate. We are beyond blessed to have found this clinic and we will continue to use them for our other Danes and animals.

I had to put my cat down. They were very understanding & sympathetic during a very hard time. They let me spend as much time as I needed after he passed. I will be taking a my pets here. They also sent a sympathy cars with his paw print. This is something I will cherish forever.

I personally want everyone to know that the staff at the Princeton veterinarian clinic (across from the high school) saved my dogs life this weekend. I showed up Friday morning and my dog was having a pancreatic attack out of nowhere overnight she became close to doggie heaven. The staff took her and nursed her all Friday and then half of Saturday and then some more. They have an amazing dedication to my and and any one else pet that comes through their door. My words of gratitude can’t explain how grateful we are.

We took our dog in today to get him all fixed up. He has been in pain for a few weeks and was a little scared but the people here were AMAZING with him! I'm so grateful the staff is so well trained in dealing with big strong dogs because I couldn't hold him still by myself. They treated him with such care and love and really informed me about what his issues were. After the visit and all the meds he got we were expecting a large bill, but this is by far the most affordable place I have ever been!

We are so happy to have found a vet for our pets! Everyone in the clinic was very friendly and our doctor was very thorough and explained things well, and she was so sweet with our cat. The office had a very comfortable vibe to it and you can tell that everyone takes their jobs seriously without it being stuffy. The wait was a bit long but we didn't mind at all, they don't rush you in and out, they really seem to take their time with the exams, explaining all options, etc. So in my mind that makes the wait worth it. We appreciate everyone so much!!

Took my friend and her dog to Princeton Veterinary Clinic to get her dogs severely overgrow toenails cut back. She was pregnant and was due in just a few short days. The staff there was very professional and well trained. We were taken to an exam room within 10 minutes of arriving and they took time to try to get Janie some what comfortable with them before just charging in to clip her nails. Although they did have to put a little muzzle on her, the whole procedure took only about 15 minutes and not one toenail was cut pass the "quick" so she was hurt and didn't bleed!! And the best thing was that they only charged $16 to do her. They were also very gentle handling her since she was pregnant! I would highly recommend this facility to anyone needing good vet care for any of their 4 legged members of the family!! Great work Princeton Veterinary Clinic!! Y'all ROCK!!

We got a puppy on Saturday and he’s been pretty sleepy for the last couple of days and hasn’t been feeling well at all. We got the unfortunate diagnosis of Parvo and Hookworms today. Fortunately, the office was able to get him an appointment and make me feel better about his diagnosis. Everyone was so willing to help and took the time to answer questions, give a quote before treatment, and were just all around great. Yea, we had to wait for testing and other things, but they were thorough, descriptive, and told me what I could do to give him the best chance possible of making it, as well as helping him in office and giving him the best possible opportunity.I have read through the reviews and understand waiting can be annoying, but you never know what is going on in the room next to you. Someone else’s precious baby could be going through a true, life threatening illness and sometimes the staff needs to take extra time with another patient. I have nothing but good things to say about this clinic and appreciate the care and compassion they show for our furry friends, as well as their parents. Thank you to the staff and to Dr. Cowart! Duke is lucky to have seen y’all and I appreciate the time y’all took with us today!

Dr C has been a part of my life for over 20 years... I do not remember when my mom started using her, BUT I continued. She has been there for the good, bad, and ugly. she hugged me as I mourned the loss of furbabies. She is the BEST!

We came in today for the first time. I have never dealt with such a genuinely caring staff. These people were working so hard and still managed to treat us so kindly. Glad to know they are now taking appointments. We did not have one and had to wait a little bit but they worked us in when they could.

They are very caring of my pets and me. I had to euthenize my cat after she succumbed from injuries. They made me feel cared for throughout the entire process! They and their cat made me feel better. Then they sent a wonderful card. We've taken all our pets there. Even though we live in McKinney right now, I will still drive to this vet because they really do care!

My Siamese cat, “Lucky” really likes going to see Dr. Vanessa. “protein, protein, protein”. Is My cat’s favorite saying. When “Lucky” goes to see his veterinarian he loves the treats she has in the exam rooms and he will head straight for them. “Lucky” will get out of the cat carrier and jump over to where the snacks are before Dr. Vanessa comes into examine him. “Lucky”is a treat monster…lol. Thanks for being my cat’s Doctor.

We are established patients. Our dogs foot was bleeding from cut. They said appointments were full arrive between 2-3pm to be ‘worked in’. We arrived at 1:45. One & a half hours later they said they haven’t had a cancellation, we can wait but probably won’t be seen today at all. But we can try ‘work in’ again tomorrow. VERY DISAPPOINTED!

Super happy with our experience there! Friendly, seems like everyone that goes there are regulars and known by name. They didn't overcharge and only did what was needed and communicated the whole way through. They get pretty busy so keep an open schedule and patience. The staff deserves patient clients because they are kind and patient with your pets and explain everything with no attitude. I appreciated everything about our visit.

We are new to Princeton and called the morning we knew it was time to say goodbye to my 16 year old cat. They were able to get us in right away, the staff was caring, kind and very professional. I wish I had found this vet under better circumstances, but I feel fortunate to have found this vet. They also have a black clinic cat that stopped me as I was walking out crying that made it a little easier. I also got my baby’s ashes 3 days later which was very fast. Thank you to the staff for your kindness and compassion. I will bring my other babies here because of this staff.

Vet and assistants were great. The only problem I have would be the long, long wait to be seen. They want you to wait in your car with your animal. The problem is, in Texas it was over 100° and we had to wait 2 1/2 hours. It was crazy and HOT!!!

I’ve been going to this vet for my cats for ten years and love every person that works there! The techs are friendly and professional, and the vet is knowledgeable, skillful and very compassionate. They encourage crazy pet parents to call when they have surgery or have to stay for observation, and are quick to help ease your nerves, give you updates and reassure your pet is safe. Cannot recommend enough!

They've been fine when we've brought in our cat and dog. But is impossible to get ahold of them. I've tried calling 4 times to schedule an appointment unsuccessfully. I ended up changing vets but still can't get them on the phone to transfer records to the new vet.

Dr. Cowart and her staff are some of the most wonderful and caring people, you will love them!! ( **Please know before you go that they do NOT take appointments. Sometimes you will wait a SHORT amount of time and sometimes you will wait a LONG time. Yes, I have waited two hours before, but I don't mind. I just make sure my phone is charged or I bring a book. I hate seeing the reviews from people didn't understand how the office is run.) These are very hard working and dedicated animal lovers and they will take great care of your fur babies too!
