This started as a good experience but due to the dishonest and condescending owner and employee... it became a disappointment and disheartening situation.8/30/2018: Our daughter moved into a 2-Bed Unit and we paid a $300 Deposit + $695 rent. All was well. No issues.7/30/2019: Our daughter moved into a 1 bedroom unit. There were maintenance issues that needed addressing (hole in the bathroom ceiling, dysfunctional light in bedroom, unclean unit upon move-in, damaged dirty carpet, broken closet, broken kitchen cabinets, multiple nail holes in wall) and we were assured they would be taken care of.They were not.1) After moving into the 1 bedroom unit, ROACHES appeared. Every 2 weeks, we would spend $10.98 at Walmart to purchase Bengal Roach Killer. It did not help and we realized there was an infestation.2) August 2019: After spraying the bug killer, the roaches took refuge inside the stove. Although they eventually died, they were visible thru the stove's digital clock.We requested a replacement several times.3) October 2019: We contacted the owner via cell and asked would the stove be replaced before Homecoming because we needed to prepare 100 pounds of meat for the students. Owner replied:"It is a busy weekend".Stove was not replaced until November 2019.Due to the above issues, we found another place for our daughter to live, while attending PVAMU.January 3, 2020: Daughter moved outJanuary 4, 2020: Owner contacted us stating our daughter had $2500 damage in her unit. We advised it was a lie.January 5, 2020: We met owner and employee at 10am to view unit. With the exception of an uncleaned refrigerator, carpet not vacuumed and burns from incense in the previously worn-out carpet (that has not been replaced in years), there was NOT any damage that justified a $2500 text message from the owner.Owner then stated he never said anything about $2500 in damages however we had proof of his text message.(Photo Attached.)We advised owner to keep the $300 Deposit to cover the prorated rent for December 30th - January 3rd.Owner and employee stated we only paid $150 for a deposit and we were lying. Both became belligerent and began yelling and raising their voices.We immediately showed them proof of their receipt in their handwriting. The receipt shows a $300 Deposit was paid.(Photo Attached.)After realizing they were caught in lies, they told us to have a good day.*** As we were leaving the premises, we told the owner that upon meeting them we have always 'done the right thing' and been honest and upright with them.It was very disheartening that all they care about is: Money.If you expect professionalism, respect and honesty in business dealings, do NOT move your students into these units.Very disappointed.

This place is not liveable. All they care about is getting your money and don't care about the customer. The owner of the complex the gropes on females when ever he gets the chance, so it is unsafe for females and the manager's barley speaks English so you really fair communicate with them. Overall I wouldn't recommend this place to a homeless person please avoid this place if you can. FYI all the pics are fake don't fall for them.

This place is a nasty slum. The owner doesn't care about anything except getting your money. Food, trash, garbage laying all over. The slum Lord owner lives miles away in a high class area, in a very expensive house , yet won't pay $20 dollars for someone to clean up trash that residents have to look at every day. He deserves to go broke. !!!!

Lived here on and off for about 4 years. The place has an unbeatable deal, but the location / rooms / management are pretty bad. Just outside PV the people and city can get pretty rough. Shootings happen about 2 times per year around the property (within a 2 mi radius). The stores never feel clean and bugs are prevalent. The rooms have stuff on the walls and have quite a few quirks (I lived in 3 different rooms) like poor plumbing (backs up about once a year and VERY LITTLE WARM WATER), ovens in SOME apartments, and untrustworthy beds (we used our own, which was difficult to set up, but can be done). The AC units suck, which is a bit of an issue in the humid heat, and bugs can be bad (e.g. silverfish, couple roaches [which I've had crawl on me once: I still have nightmares], and some sort of junebug which migrates and rots in the parking lot [horrible smell]). Mgmt has anger issues (kind of forced to yell and scream because of the people that live here). He is horrible to his contractors / workers and it shows in the work they put into maintaining the building.As a student this place was an introduction to how gritty the real world can be. It offered me and my partner an relatively good launch pad for my career + education at relatively low cost (all expenses are included!!!! Water, electric, internet, cable, and rent all fused into 1 monthly payment [simplifies everything] for us in a 2ish bedroom apt was 695. It's much cheaper for the single rooms. I dare you to find a better price. We put 3 people in that crappy apartment and paid 1/3 of the cost each. If you want to live below your means in college this is a good option. Worst case scenario you move out at the end of the month👌 (or are forced to stay because of PV's housing situation). Suggestions: do a second floor apartment, less bugs, less risk of flooding, etc. Good luck!

Read!!!! I have an interesting story about this place, I received a FB from a friend, this friend carried on a conversation as if I really thought it was her. It turned out they hacked my friends FB and used her identity to get $. They claimed that they got a grant for $ for poverty people. This went on until I realized it was a scam. I demanded the person come forward that my husband works for the FBI. He gave me the contact information of THIS PLACE...He wanted me to wire him $. DO NOT go here!!

Quite expensive, it's a furnished apartment.. Internet connection is quite slow, the furniture is nothing to write about.. The TV had no remote control. Other services are ok
