These prices are so high why. It's a small town you would think would be so much, but we would have to drive to Pleasanton just to save some money. Yes prices are going up but pay is not so it's just hard for some to at least save a few bucks.

Love Lowe’s this is a great neighborhood store. My aunt lives around the corner from it me and my cousins when we were growing up wish there was a store like this so that we could walk from her house to the store. Everything was never walking distance in Poteet!! Besides your friendly neighbors, who sold snow cones, and corn cups this store would have been perfect growing up. I love Lowe’s and their prices. if you want to throw a quick barbecue with family, Lowe’s is the place I love all the workers and Ace is perfect to find plumbing parts!!!

The hardware store is great but the Lowe’s food market would not recommend shopping there. They price gouge like crazy! Five dozen carton of eggs at H-E-B is only seven dollars and here at the Lowe’s market. It is way more expensive.

This store is reasonably priced for a store that's located 20 miles from their competition.The issues that I have with this store is how dirty it is. It definitely needs to be cleaned and updated...it's an easy fix. The next issue I have is with the employees...still an easy fix.I had taken my son and grandson to this store to buy several items from the hardware department (remember, it's 20 miles to their nearest competition as I had previously mentioned) only to be followed by a young man as if I was a thief trying to steal 5 pounds of screws, a gallon of Arizona green tea and 25 dollars of paint thinner for a garage we've been building.I dress nice, I'm clean, I smell great...I'm 58 years old, my son is 30 and my grandson is 8 years old.I have shopped at this store previously but I can assure you that unless it's an emergency situation I will not be going back. I refuse to support any business that treats customers so poorly.The employee stared at the three of us to purposely make us uncomfortable.I was buying screws by the pound. I had to put them into a bag by hand in order to purchase them. They tend to be mixed in with other screws that were improperly shelved and I took the time to be sure of what I was purchasing...I'm guessing they thought a person might try to steal a professional football sized amount of construction screws? The economy is bad but I couldn't imagine a person going to a hardware store to steal construction screws.As I have stated...I wouldn't ever steal anything from anyone and I definitely won't ever buy anything from this store ever again.

Very clean location... Very patient and friendly staff & cashier's. I was so pleased to find good deals at this time of year's holiday season! Great coupons folks downloaded the app on my phone (android) from Google store my total purchase was $79 after digital coupons applied from app my total was $51! Thank you... you've got your competition beat! 1 dozen eggs under $5 WOW!KEEP YOU THE GOOD WORK GUYS/GALS!

Went in to get a few things.This is the only store i know that has carpet thru the entire store on the south side. Lol. Store had some good sales. Everything so neat on shelves. This really caught my eye!Loved it!

Love our grocery store in Poteet! Everyone is always kind and helpful, and I love the selections available! Great location for visiting family to find as well. It's such an asset to have a hardware store and pharmacy in town as well.

I made a pit stop for a bag of ice,and the lady helped me place it in my car. It was fast and easy,with their help,and I actually found a parking space,when you usually don't,for they only have two spots since the store opened décadas ago.

Manager doesn't bother to help he just stand there. I needed help twice and he walked away just to talk to an employee. I walked out never waited on me at the service desk and at the checkout.

When I don’t want to spend 60+ minutes driving round trip to Pleasanton or San Antonio, and or I only need a few items, having this Lowes in Poteet is a lifesaver. Definitely comes in clutch and usually has what I need. Also, during the COVID pantry loading phases of the pandemic, Lowes never ran out of toilet paper so THAT’s a huge plus and earns it five stars on its own.

I'm rating only three stars because my experiences with Lowe's is limited. The few times I've been here I've found what I needed. Yes, the prices are a little higher but that's probably due to the cost of shipping groceries to a small town. Lowe's does meet the needs of the small rural town of Poteet. Unless you need something specialized, you can get what you need here.Although Lowe's does need to pay more attention to the restrooms. Need deeper cleaning. Perhaps more checks by employees.

Cross my Heart, this grocery store is something else. You'd think it was like every little honky tonky bar place around these parts, but you'd be dead wrong. For clarification, I'm on a road trip to be in Amarillo by morning. All I see in my vision is the clear blue sky, when out of the corner of my eye, I see this quaint small town store, and I'm beginning to get low on snacks on this journey. Now usually I'm a picky person, I hate everything most of the time, so I got out of the chair of my car and entered the glowing banana, grape and tomato store to see what's in store for me. Passing the aisles I saw many funny character's such as construction workers, a fireman, and just random customers looking to fill their pantries such as I. What got me the most is that this small country store truly did meet my expectations, playing the classics such as "I Just want to Dance With You" and "All My Ex's Live In Texas" by the classical country star everyone knows. As I checked out, the cashier, Cheyenne, gave me a little paper and told me to write this down. We had discussed a museum of Troubadours. She then proceeded to tell me all the specifics about it, what a nice gal. Off I went to finish my trip after that. Driving down the road taking my time one night at a time. Without further reviewing, amen.

Prices are high at these grocery stores on most items outside of produce & some dairy. I can't speak for other locations on the conditions of their Produce, but Poteets location you have to make sure you inspect your fruits & veggies due to mold & insects being found on numerous occasions upon my shopping there. Definitely worth the trips to a Walmart, HEB or even a Sam's club if you're looking to do some heavy grocery shopping. If you don't mind paying double or at times even triple for certain items then you probably won't mind going to a Lowe's for groceries.

Customer service needs more help. Simple apologize for making customers wait over 15 minutes at checkout. Then directing them to the office, then the office refusing to check you out!!! Adding more minutes and making me mad!!

Nice people very friendly but the selection assortment of things are very limited and the prices are very overpriced they don't carry anything different or extra but being it's 5 minutes away its handy and I love it..and it's an ACE hardware store and a pharmacy

Man this place is ran down All the employees look like they hate there job.There prices are sky high and dont carry a lot of brands . The big issue is the employees they need to work on customer service quit if you dont like your job and they can higher people that want to be there .
