Mike and Wes were really accommodating with making changes with our dogs training routine due to our dogs (Diamond and Bruiser) medical history with their legs. They also even helped with physical therapy exercises. Mike and Wes were also very attentive to any issues and questions I had concerning each specific dog personality and would alter whatever could be to make everything extremely easy and for best obedience results. My pups are only halfway done with training and thus far are showing great progress. However I do want to make it clear, don't blame the trainers if you don't spend time to work with your dogs!!!! Because Sit Means Sits trainers at this location are Awesome!

What a great experience Sit Means Sit is for my wife, dog and I. My dog (Dakota) is 1/2 Anatolian Shepherd and 1/2 Great Pyrenees. In short she is big, very independent, and doesn't listen to commands. Walking her was a nightmare as she would jump and lunge at people and other animals. My wife could not handle this very strong dog who did as she wished. Sit Means Sit put an end to that. My wife is petite and can now walk our dog with ease. The trick is to get the tools and training from the Sit Means Sit staff and practice those skills with the dog. Your efforts will pay big dividends. The training has been invaluable and enhanced our relationship with our pet. Highly recommended for anyone needing training and direction for your pet. Our only wish is we wished we would have gone there sooner.

I’m not going to lie, I was skeptical. How can this outfit have so many great reviews? So we went. My dog went in thinking I work for him and came out working for me. No joke. I was worried about this changing his personality but he’s still the same goofy dog just much happier now that he doesn’t feel he has to do all the work around here. Dog walking by? He comes to me and alerts me. No more Cujo. When we walk, no more pulling. I could go through all the things we learned but you didn’t come here to read a book. So let me say this, if you don’t do this training, I will say a silent prayer for you and your dog. If you are reading this review, you already know you need help. I’m happier. My dog is happier. Office staff is super great and friendly. Can’t say enough about Wes and Mike. They answer your calls, texts, emails. They check on you throughout the training and give you tips. Do this. Staff taught me the tools to begin training / dog obedience practices w our adolescent GSP puppy.We invested in the D/T option followed w group classes. I love the staff and how they are helping me to understand what is needed with Lucky's behavior. I would highly recommend them to anyone who is looking to train their dog. I have a blue heeler, the most difficult dog to train and staff has been amazing with him.

I highly recommend sit means sit, for all your dog training need. The trainers are very professional, very attentive to our wants and need for a well behaved puppy and owner. In my case it’s the owner that needed the most training. They have been very patient with me, answered all my questions and they are just a phone call away when I need assistance. We brought our dog Mania in for training and she’s been a different dog ever since. Before this, we used to think “she was set in her ways” or “this was her personality”. It didn’t take long either. We were able to make changes at the first session and get immediate results from then on. I love that group classes will remain available to us after her individual sessions, so we can stay on top of her training and keep making progress.

My dog Junior is a 7-month-old Belgian Malinois. She was aggressive and growling towards people, and anxious.Wes met her and helped me train her. We took our puppy, Whiskey, here for the full shebang training and it was well worth the money. We’re a military family always on the move and needed a dog that gets along with children and animals. But most of all, listens to us because we do a lot of hiking, RV’ing, breweries, festivals, etc. We wanted a dog that could go with us on all adventures and SMS definitely helped us achieve that with Whiskey. He’s now the most well behaved dog we’ve ever had.The staff is great. They don’t make you feel like the worst dog mom when you show up on day two of training with a chewed up remote. They’re very good at meeting you where you’re at, not where the dog is at. Because, let’s face it, the dogs will do anything for a treat. 90% of dog training is convincing the human to join the program and do their part. Once that’s figured out, the rest is gravy.I would most definitely recommend anyone using this SMS if you live in the area. Then you can have a wonderful and well-behaved furbaby for a life of adventures!

This is our first time using dog training services for our new pup. We felt defeated before we joined the training since nothing we did seem to help our puppy behave. We have had several trainers in the first 4 weeks, all giving us new tips and new perspectives on how we can help teach our dog. They have been open to answering questions, they have allowed us to vent when we just don’t feel like we are doing things right , and they have offered support and structure for the whole family. We love Sit Means Sit! We have been bringing our dog Taz here since January and he is such a good boy! When we first started he pulled the leash and always wanted to go up to other dogs. After three training days, my French bulldog puppy is so much better behaved. I feel comfortable walking with him on a leash, which was one of the things I most wanted to accomplish. He has learned to stay in place, and allows me to do some things that I can’t do when he is active. I am pleased with the support from the staff that I have worked with. I was looking for a facility that could train my 3-year-old 100 lb. boxer who has had some behavioral issues in the past. Sit Means Sit Dog Training came highly recommended by a rescue organization I have worked with, so I decided to give them a try. I am so happy I did! The dog trainers there have the knowledge and skills required to handle an array of behavioral issues. They work WITH YOU to train your dog.
