I went into the store, not having anything I needed to put a bed together and Alfred one of the workers in there very very, very very helpful and did a great job explaining and showing me step by step on putting it together and all I had to do is . Come home and tighten the bolts. Thank you so much! Excellent customer service and patience!

Great place. Rented a trailer from there and the Uhaul rep Steven was awesome enough to personally deliver a specific trailer early for me to pick up. Every time I go into this location I realize how a hardware store should run. Everybody from the cashier to the guys getting the trailer ready for me were amazing. Wish every business was as down to earth as these folks.

I Love this place. You may pay a tad bit more for things here, but the service you get is off the charts good. Every associate there is willing to help you with anything you need. Go here, if you are not happy with the service it's you not them lol.

While I didn’t go in for hardware per se, the selection was impressive! Prices were competitive. Staff was very attentive. But the best part? The boutique items right at the front of the store. I found a post-Christmas sale and cleaned UP!

I want to say the customer service at J&R's AceHardware is outstanding. As I was walking in the casheirs greeting was warm and inviting thanks to Emma and Sherry. I want to give a special thanks and shout out to Alfred who went out of his way to help me find the right pieces I need to help me with my project. He went above and beyond and even fixed a piece that I brought in. It's great customer service. They treat you like a good friend, even like family thank you for the remarkable experience!

Every time I go there it is a nightmare takes forever missing equipment at the U-Haul department. One time their computer was down on a prepaid reservation their system didn’t work for 6 hours I had to go to Penske for last minute and it cost an extra 200. It takes forever they never have your equipment and don’t have the U-Haul hitches. Avoid at all costs!!!!!!!

Sir in the back was super helpful with copying a key for me. Really appreciated his help. I stood in home depot for 20 min waiting on help but everyone said they couldn’t do it. Ace is the place!

Called and priced and checked availability on two items. The lady priced them and said they were available. Drove there to find zero of one item.. been out of stock for a long time.. and two damaged of the other I needed. Needed three of each, got none. Gave two stars as the lady in the store was so very nice and apologized several times. Had to drive on to Home Depot. But, I will give them another chance as nobody is perfect!

I always find what I need here. Mostly because the staff is always soo helpful and kind…and knowledgeable. Talon helped me find what I was looking for, and carry around the store with me, and helped me to my car. Quality staff. Thank you so much. Who knew my favorite store could be a hardware store!

Bought some 4in screws, when I got home to use them the very first screw snapped. Decided to go to Home Depot even though I was trying to save time to get some screws from there. And I had no issues with the Home Depot screws. The manager at Ace told me I was probably screwing them into something that wasn’t wood and that’s why it broke. So he said I couldn’t get a refund even though I had my receipt and it was not even a full 24hours before I had bought them. Terrible customer service. Just make the longer trip to Home Depot

What a great experience! Thats right...very fine staff that are so helpful. I purchased a Stihl weedeater and at a great price and a demonstration for free. Not just a hardware store, there are many different items in the store.

I wanted to say thank you to Melanie and Sherri at J&R Ace hardware. They were able to get me in a Uhaul van on such short notice after the valley ranch location changed my pick up to a 242 location 45 minutes before I was supposed to pick up my 10 ft truck. I live in valley ranch so that was a major inconvenience. Anyway the ladies took a chance and helped me out when the van was supposed to be rented later on that afternoon to another customer. I brought the van back before the deadline for the other customer pickup. I appreciate them helping us out since we were on a strict deadline. Thanks again!

We need more stores like this one. The staff are helpful, inventories are full and, prices are fair. I have never purchased anything in this store that was later found to be of poor quality. They sell good brand name equipment and hardware. Also, very convenient to my home with ample store hours such that they are open when I need them.

I visited this location on 6/25/23 to return a U-haul that was rented from another location. Upon returning the vehicle, the young lady at the front desk was unable to provide me with a receipt because a manager was not present and readily available to properly check-in the vehicle. Approximately 3 hours later, I called the location to provide a new method of payment for my balance and receive a receipt via email. I was then told that they have a special "Uhaul computer", they were ready to go home for the day so they sent all of my information to U-haul and I can follow up with them. Now, in addition to the stress of moving, I have to call a 1-800 number to resolve a matter that could have been handled in person while I was there.Completely UNACCEPTABLE customer service. As a customer, I have no idea of the policies and procedures of Ace Hardware nor am I privy to store operations. The ball was completely dropped by the front end staff and anyone responsible for U-haul operations at this location. If you are renting a U-haul please reconsider using this location.

Without a doubt the best staff in Texas. Competent, caring, able and willing to spend the time with you to explain the component or task you are performing. Every time I go here, I ALWAYS have the answers and things I need. There is a Home Depot and a Lowes that are closer to me, but they cannot even begin to match the competence and desire to help that this Ace Hardware team brings to the table.

I purchased a cabinet lock and it did not fit my cabinet. Purchased it at 1pm and returned it at 3 pm. Once I got to the store with the receipt, the manager said that they will not accept it back since it was open. I do all my shopping at Home Depot and Lowes. This mom and pop store is terrible. The manager kept the door lock did not issue me a refund. This is theft…and fraud. Will be seeking further assistance on this matter. This is not ethicality right. Stay away from this store cause you cannot return items like at other stores. Shame on themUpdate, thank you Bank of American fraud department for refunding my money. Home Depot had the correct size for my cabinet. Lesson learned.., no more mom and pop stores for me.

I went in the store not knowing how I was going to repair my walls before my wife got back in town and I have some explaining to do. Mike W. Helped me with the perfect plan and materials I needed to do it. He generously offered his time to explain how to make the patch repair and what to do stepwise so I didn’t make any common mistakes. I don’t typically go on in a long review I had to share how much I greatly appreciate the time he spent with me. Wifey was never the wiser unless she goes back and reads my reviews. Haha. Awesome experience in this store! The store is clean, neat, and organized. The staff is super friendly and kind. I felt like I was in a hallmark movie. There’s a whole gift shop to the right when you walk in that has gifts for occasions and different styles of people. There’s even an aisle of household cleaning supplies that’s cheaper and better than the grocery store. While I was looking for plug ins, Ron came over and asked if we were finding everything okay. He was very pleasant and helpful! He stayed and helped us make sure the product we wanted fit the insert and even helped ensure the spin mop bucket system included the mop. He was so patient and friendly, which was refreshing. We just moved to the area within a few minutes of this store and my husband already said Lowes and Home Depot has lost his business. We love it here! Definitely going to to be a regular customer!
