It seems like every time I come in to the location, all the cashiers are horribly rude. Like they’re miserable to be at work getting paid which is a blessing.White lady with no teeth has horrible customer service, bad attitude and when asked a simple question she explodes. If you’re gonna have someone working with customers, make sure they’re actually polite and inviting. Specially when the question has to be directly about a product and price in the store.

This place is a safety hazard and the store manager minnie is shady lady that does not have her employee's best interest. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BUSINESS!! GO a few blocks down to the dollar general

This is the closest store to me so I visit this location often. The manager, Ms Minnie, is an amazing lady!!! There are a few other ladies that have been there a while too, that are just the sweetest!!Whoa! I just read a review that surprised me. I can't speak of the previous manager but when Ms Minnie became manager she straightened that place up. And talk about she hollers at the customers that's just a flat-out lie! I was in there one time when a customer was trying to get money back for something that she didn't have a receipt for and was saying some crazy rude stuff acting a fool. Ms. Minnie totally kept her composure and was as nice as could be. I'm in that store more than I should be and never once have I saw her raise her voice or even act upset, at all. She's always got a smile on her face.

This store has gotten worse! It's dirty. Rude cashiers. Lines are ALWAYS long because the cashiers are too busy taking about personal issues!!! Or standing around. They don't wear masks and they are all COUGHING right in front of us! And touching our stuff..ugggg..So disgusting. I live close so it's convenient for me sometimes. But I will NOT be going here anymore. They need to be reported to human health services to clean up

Oh my gosh google why don’t you allow us to give ZERO stars?! I guess they get one star for convince to my home? Anyway this older woman who has silver hair (usually in a bun) works there; yet again. She had left there a while back and we ran into her at stripes off 1314 now she’s back. What a terror. She has such a nasty demeanor and is absolutely unnecessarily rude. Just always in such a foul mood. Why work there if you can’t be kind? It’s FREE and doesn’t cost anything to be polite. I’ve NEVER had a good experience in there when she’s there. They keep the doors locked now “for their safely” but at least put a sign on the door for your customers. Minnie who I think may be the manager is really sweet at least from my experience with her and so is the younger man with blonde hair. Yes the store is unorganized but what more can they do with the space they have. That one bad apple makes this a Thumbs down from me.

The worker's are very rude. I was not the only one either. The lady in front of me and the back also. Oh when asked about the coupon they were just very rude about that. The guy that was working in there is always rude. Today is memorial day@3;40 he is one of the reasons I don't go in there very often. Thanks

Pricing is good... usually only one person on register, so checking out can be a bit slow.Aisles are usually cluttered with stock needing put away.The outside area isn't always clean - but to be fair, there are some pretty trashy people in this world and they have no respect or give any thought to the fact that they're making a bad experience for someone else.This is another one of those stores that could benefit from a couple more employees on the payroll.Will give credit to the employees I've dealt with here, though. I've not had a bad experience with them.

At 6:15 PM on September 25, 2018 a white middle age lady with glasses was rude and told me she didn't want my money. She said she couldn't take anything OVER a 20 and I said that's fine because my stuff was only 13 bucks, but when I gave her exactly a 20 dollar bill she told me "what the hell did I just tell you?!" I'm just gonna leave it like this, I know we all have bad days but I will never shop in a place that yells at the customers and belittled me in front of everyone, especially when it was a CASH ONLY register.

I haven't been able to successfully in logging in to my account to use my coupons. However JD & Reina made sure I picked up everything on my list at an affordable price. Enjoyed my season shopping with these two.

Could not believe the smell coming from this store. It's like a mix of dead animals and rat urine. The cashier was rather rude so I decided to drop my items and take my business to Porter Walmart. But that's a whole separate review.

Everyone seems to want to check out at once at this location, especially when there is only one cashier working. Other than that, this Family Dollar has a decent selection of items to buy. With the limitation of stores in Porter, this one is worth coming back to.

The older black lady in front is so rude. I'm asking do you have pregnancy test at counter. She's like Why would I !?! So she pointed to the back of store. So went back to see. I was looking for the store brand. So I went back to front to ask her I'm looking for store brand do you have some shes like why would I . I'm like lady I'm just asking if you the store have some! So I had to go see where I can find one no help to her!!!!!! Not sure why she works there!!!! What a waste of my time!

So I went there yesterday and this old lady working there has a really bad customer service I’m personally work in customer service, and that’s not how you treat people she was rude i got some cupons in my app and she was like all sarcastic “look at you get toalla for free” like wasn’t even free and that’s why the coupons are there to use it ugh never going back again 0 star for this locations

Called multiple times with an important question and the phone just rang for 4 mins every time, I must have called like 7 times, tried for over an hour to get literally anyone on the phone and NOTHING... I tried different menu options, NOTHING... This store needs some help. JUST GO TO THE OTHER FAMILY DOLLAR, don't waste your money here ☠️

I have a very large family and we used to always shop at family Dollar in Porter on 1314 it used to have great managers but now they are rude all the staff is rude the bathrooms are terrible filthy and need a desperate remodeling it’s always crowded with overstockYou can’t even get down the isles my whole family stopped going there and now shop in another place but I sure do miss family dollar I wish they could do something about this problem someone needs to undercover shop

This place is disgusting! There is stuff everywhere all over the floor in boxes shoved on the shlefs. You cant even fit down the aisle because there's boxes everywhere. Horrible horrible. Someone needs to take control and clean this store up!

I would have bought more if I could have got to it, isles packed with piles of boxes, not a pleasant shopping experience and never has been since store was built, even bruised my arm on a shelf trying to squeeze a buggy thru.

A bit cluttered and messy, parking lot always has trash thrown about but the employees are kind & helpful, that makes up for the not so pleasing appearance of the store
