Bought a BBQ sandwich there yesterday, on my way home from Corpus Christi. I noticed the meat had a bit different color/tint or something, and didn’t taste quite the same as usual. Luckily I was home already when the food poisoning symptoms started. Either that meat was old, or not stored at the proper temperature, but it has me sick right now 🤢

Great rest Stop if you're traveling and the coffee is hot and excellent, Food selections are good too. the bathrooms are clean and inviting. The staff is very friendly and professional in how they respond to customers needs, You would like doing business here.

Is Port Lavaca the world's smallest Buccee's? Cute and convenient.Men's room had 3 urinals, 2 commodes and sinks. Small for a Buccee's. Clean.I'm not used to Buccee's posting their gas prices up or their allowing big rigs to fill up.

Understandable to have a small Buc-ee's in a small town. What is missing is the trademark of the employees in customer relations. I haven't encountered many gas stations as a general rule with that rude of employees.

What a great convenience store. Huge selection of grab and go foods. Large selection of cold beverages. There are tons of bottled water options. The price for 20lbs bags of ice is the best bargainPeople are friendly at serving stations and at registers.

What a let down. Yes it was clean and the folks were plenty nice. But it was just like going to a regular mini mart. It’s what a huge let down. I expected big store and got mini store. Nice people though.

I've stopped here a few different times, just passing though and they have been friendly and very helpful. The restrooms here have been very clean and always stalked with toilet paper. I love the above and beyond they go for keeping thier restrooms clean. I will continue to stop here on my way back and forth from Corpus Christi to Houston.

It's a gas station. It's not the Buc-ee's you're thinking of. Clean normal gas station. No penny press, no huge gift shop. Normal in every way. Don't go out of your way for this tour stop. We deemed it one of the suc-ee Buc-ee's.

Ladies, this is not the bathroom stop you want to make. I say this as a Bucees clean bathroom follower. Narrow stalls and 2 were missing a hook to hang your purse. Not as clean as most bucees bathrooms, either.The food smelled wonderful, but we left to find other accommodations. Giving it 2 stars because employees were friendly and I hope everything else was in order. My guess is whoever manages this location has never had to use a restroom with nowhere to hang a purse other than their own neck.

Went here expecting a regular Buc-ee’s but it is definitely a knock off mini store. No merch like usual but still had some signature snacks thankfully. Also my son ran in the restroom only to exclaim “THIS LOOKS LIKE EVERY OTHER NORMAL BATHROOM NOT A BUC-EE’S ONE” so from the mouths of babes lol. The staff were lovely and perfect, just wanna let yall know what to expect from the novelty side of it

Worried I left my wallet there and I can’t even get through to a human. Nobody wants to talk to robots or do everything online. People still appreciate good customer service. I’m traveling so way out of the way to go back just to check but a phone call could take care of this concern very quickly.

I have no complaints other than the morning breakfast biscuits have gone to hell...no more soft buttery golden brown biscuits. Now it's a hard crumbling Cookie with absolutely no flavor with egg bacon and cheese...and for the f✓©king love of Ozzy why the hell does every biscuit have to have cheese.... Cheese's Christ🤘👺 and the tortillas could use a little more time on the comal...I like pale women not pale tortillas

I always try to be a loyal customer but gas prices are way more than Walmart or H‑E‑B. I filled up at 3.49 and the other stores were 3.02. Will be taking my business elsewhere.

Bald guy is rude and treats his employees like they are less than dirt. I’ve never heard someone treat there workers with such disrespect. And I the worst thing is he has 2 wives this man can’t even be loyal. SHAKE MY HEAD

I'm honestly not even sure why there are so many negative reviews at this location. Port Lavaca is my hometown, and ever since Buc-ees took over this location, we have never had a bad experience. I'm also seeing a few reviews from people claiming that they were asked to leave with a service animal. I can tell you for certain that this is false. This location will not push you out if you have a legitimate service animal that is properly labeled as such. Do not be afraid to stop here for gas and food. Their breakfast tacos are one of the best in Port Lavaca.

After a trip to San Antonio, my husband and I drove a bit further to visit Buc-ee’s in New Braunfels. Needing to get gas before we went into the store to look around, we pulled in behind a car. We sat there for several minutes and then realized no one was in that vehicle. It was extremely busy, so we said,”okay” and backed up to find another spot. Well there was so many vehicles left at the gas pumps unoccupied, while their drivers were in shopping, that it was extremely difficult to find an available pump open!! We have never experienced this before at any other Buc-ee’s or matter a fact at any other station! So many and I mean many inconsiderate people at this store is a problem. There must be a way to for Buc-ee’s to control this situation!! It is totally frustrating to try to get gas at your store. We’ve always enjoyed visiting your store in New Braunfels, Luling, and Wharton, but will seriously reconsider visiting your New Braunfels location.

The best - period. My choice for fuel always. Of course, the cleanest restrooms anywhere. Lots of food items if looking for a snack. The pulled pork sandwiches are way above average.

Only thing good about this place is the breakfast tacos. This is probably the worst bucees in there chain of stores, the manager does not care about problems that store has such as card reader not working at the pumps. The employees here are pretty unfriendly as well. Also mask not required in this county but they still make you wear them so I will not be coming here any more and will not be recommending it

Buc-ee’s has always been my go to gas station & ultimate favorite. But last Thursday during lunch hour I was highly disappointed. First of all, the store does not do this chain of business justice. 🤦🏻‍♀️ 95% of what they have at others they do not sell here. No souvenirs or multiple bu-cee’s items. I have been to all Bu-cee chains even the one in Alabama. That’s how much my family and I Looooove this chain. But the worst part was driving 45min to get their awesome pull pork sandwich and waiting at the right time when they serve it just to be told they don’t have BUNS!! What on God’s green earth do they mean no buns but they have an H.E.B just a few blocks from them. The young man could’ve asked to see if we could have just bought the pull pork. He didn’t seem to be in the best of moods either. Heck, I wouldn’t at that sad little place.This is the only Bu-cee’s that should never been made at that size.

Smallest Buc-ee’s we have visited. Disappointed they don’t offer most of the assortment and products that are at all their other locations (gifts, souvenirs, hot foods, grab & go deli products, specialty sweets, etc.). They also have limited times during the day that they offer their famous sandwiches. They do have more Buc-ee branded offerings but it doesn’t make up for the many dedicated stops we used to look forward to.

Gas price is 3.19 at bucees, in port lavaca right now yet when i search cheap gas near me it says bucees is 2.92. Everywere else is 2.93 or 2.94. What is going on bucees??

A fine average gas station with the Buc-ees logo. Some limited food options available from the Buc-ees menu, though on the weekend I drove through they weren't serving lunch food yet (time: noon). Biggest win here is the low-priced fountain drinks (same price as bigger locations).Don't expect high quality bathrooms or options, but it is in quite a small town so likely still the best option locally. However, not worth the stop simply for the Buc-ees name, keep on driving to a bigger town with better options if you can hold it!
