The sweetest and most professional staff! I’m from Brownsville, but went to the Laguna Madre Humane Society at Port Isabel due to their accessibility and pricing. I took Pinto Beans 🐈‍⬛ to get spayed and I was blown away by how attentive the staff were. It gave me a great sense of comfort to leave her in their hands. Days after surgery, they were amazing enough to give me a follow up call to check how Pinto Beans was doing. I went again so the vet could check on her to make sure everything was healing correctly and to disregard any infection. As a first timer getting a cat spayed, I was paranoid about the healing process, but they gave me the reassurance that I needed. I was also able to get Pinto Beans some flee preventive and was able to purchase supply for up to 6 months! Needless to say, I’m very pleased and thankful for all they did for Pinto Beans and I. 💗 🐈‍⬛ 🐾

This is a Great place to bring your family pet, definitely by all means, definitely worth waiting whatever time you spend there, have to give a shout out to all who do more and beyond what they have to do :). This place is definitely a “family pet friendly” environment. Can honestly say they don’t see you as money when you walk in the door like other veterinarians/vets I’ve been to in the valley, prices are definitely “economic friendly” considering to other places I’ve visited. And they will honestly tell you the truth of the condition of your pet status and will highly recommend to fixe the issue then and there before it worsens, then having you up and down and setting up follow ups after follow up like other places I’ve gone I give 10 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ to the lady that saved my dog from near death, I’ve never seen my dog so happy and energized like now. Thank You!

This place is amazing and they not super expensive as they work to help those with a low income but that still need animal services. Meds they have for heart worms or flea medicine, they can spay/nuter ur pets at a good price as well.

The guy that told me to come in, should have known that u don't try grabbing a pitbull by the head and did so anyway, then claimed he had to write down thar my dog was vicious. He needs to learn how to handle a dog before labeling it at a aggressive dog

I've been taking my beloved K-9 to Laguna Madre since he was a pup and refuse to go anywhere else!From vaccinations, to neutering & everything in between.The staff is absolutely wonderful! they've done an AMAZING job with Kane. They NEVER charge for an office visit- only the medicine or procedure that was required. How many places do that these days? ♥️THANK YOU♥️ Laguna Madre, for making it possible to afford the care people need for their pets🐾 without costing a small fortune. I recommend you every chance I'm given.

I drive from the Harlingen area because they’re worth it!Not only do they have some of the best prices in the RGV, they’re extremely kind, do amazing work, & they’ve done so much to assist me in my trap, neuter, & release of cats (TNR) that if it wasn’t for them, I couldn’t do it anymore. Staff are wonderful. They are friendly and helpful . They also offer reasonable prices for services and medications. I have 2 rescue dogs and LMHS has been the best. A lot of people waiting to get their pets to be checked and the place is too small. They should have more profesional people helping. They also need equipment and extended schedule for blood work and all of that. Great service and people care of your babies needs

Took a cat in for evaluation and treatment. It's walk-in so there can be a long wait. I paid $35 compared to a minimum $150 for the same procedure at another vet.
