The customer service here was amazing. All the staff went above and beyond to make a good impression. The pricing is the best especially because they had 50% off on electronics and clothes were $1.50. Awesome store!

I would like to share with everyone on this page a very unfortunate experience with manager Tom at Simply Good Port Isabel, TXI often shop there and today I decided to take my 81 year old elderly and disable mother. She suffers from Alzheimer’s and has difficulty walking. 5 minutes till closing they announced store closing. We let everyone go first since I know my mom takes a long time. The manager got impatient and started making comments like if she was my mother and that she was taking too long and that she couldn’t make up her mind (part of the Alzheimer’s disease) I asked if there was a problem and explained that she has trouble deciding because of the disease. I got upset and question him because I felt he was discriminating against an elderly person. He then proceeded to tell us to get out of his store. After recording a small video walking out the store he denied again and again what he had said. I did let him know that I was going to post this and he just said he would just take it down so people wouldn’t find out of incident. I decided to post here so that people are aware of the type of person he is and he doesn’t do that to any other person but especially if that person is defenseless. Please continue to post and share this posting. Will be making a report to the Better Business Bureau and Tik Tok — feeling sad with Nidia Rodriguez and 4 others.

A bit unorganized. Prices are reasonable though. This place closes earlier than what's posted. I'm sitting outside the store.. two more cars pulling away disappointed the store closed early.

Horribly overpriced. Over double the price for some items that are also at Dollar Tree and Dollar General right next door. Food and medication were expired. Looked at some vitamins, expired a year ago. Looked at some condiments, almost 2 years expired 😳
