Such a beautiful community. Nice, friendly, welcoming people here. The atmosphere is relaxing, fun, and sunny! I've caught fish, watched dolphins, and viewed a gorgeous sunset from my deck. Everything is always clean and well maintained. The activity center gives us something to do if we get bored at the house. This is my favorite place to be when I'm on vacation.

Fantastic day at Long Island Village. The $90 amenities fee was well worth it, for access to a heated pool and hot tubs during our spring break stay in South Padre Island. The ocean was too cold, so having these options available to our little family was wonderful.

I love this little community! Overall, it's pretty quiet. However, this morning, as we were leaving to have breakfast somewhere, we could hear some honking at a distance. Shortly after, we saw a golf cart with a USA flag driving down the street waving good morning. There was another right behind... it turned out to be a golf cart convoy. I really liked it!!! They all looked so happy this morning and ready to enjoy the day. Maybe I'll capture them tomorrow morning. Our rental includes pool access, but we haven't gone in, just checked it out and it looks serene. I'm eyeing that trail around the golf course, though. Maybe I'll take a jog Sunday morning before checkout. Our check-in was pretty easy and I like that there's a gate so that there is limited access to this area. I definitely recommend if you're looking for a peaceful stay away from home, yet close to South Padre Island.

Great place to stay for a vacation. Most of the units we've stayed in are very clean and welcoming. The units on the intercoastal waterway offer great views and fishing.

Frequent visitor, and I can tell you its fantastic, plenty of amenities pool, volleyball, library, golf, tennis. The people here are very friendly its quiet and the views are beautiful

We stayed here for a few days and we really enjoyed our stay. Its not far from South Padre (10min drive). We loved our view and the overall relaxation vibe you get from staying here. My boys really enjoyed fishing right off the dock in the back of the house. Perfect getaway!

Our friends are staying there and it has a bunch of activities going on and such. Very tight streets for big rigs and very small lots for the prices asked.

They’re great at charging home owner’s fee and $90 dollar fee for every renter that goes through your unit but at the moment you need something they aren’t willing to help at all unprofessional service.

This is a nice place that is clean and on the water. The pool area is clean but dated. Overall, the stay was pleasant and I would stay here again.

I give five stars only because of the property manager Crystal. The house we rented had ac problems from the very beginning. Maintenance was sent out in a timely fashion due to Crystal. Our rental was through Vacasa. They did not offer to compensate for our time of having to move or the the two days we spent in the heat. Vacasa did relocate us but wanted to let us know that they were covering the extra charges. When I saw what they were covering it was not equal to what I had paid for our original location. The property manager Crystal went above and beyond to try and ease our problems. She is the reason for good customer service at this location. Employees like her make situations like this a bit better. We r truly grateful for the help she provided us.

Natalie and Samantha are always so helpful and sweet. Never have any problems calling or going. Resort is very tidy and tons of amenities. Overall great place!

The Long Island village was & is a very popular destinationEnjoying the stay and very organized communityPet friendly to a point/ as they Really need a Dog Park.The floating bridge should be noted but could cause some delays as it’s a slow process on opening & closing But then again part of the village culture

Im still leaving 5 stars because it was only one incident and everyone else was polite.The guy currently at the front security gave us a hard time to get in, I asked for his name but he refused to give it.We tried entering like we have since we’ve been here and he made us reverse and wait at the intercom and then finally let us in, and I asked him why he did that and he said we needed a code.I explained we didn’t have one and he said I need to get one.I explained that we’ve been let through every day with no problems and if I could have his name, and he refused.Whoever was in there 12:38pm on January 1st.Very rude and unprofessional individual. Not how I wanted to start my new year

It was a nice place to stay. They staff are pretty cool, very helpful and fairly accommodating. There's a car limit though as the streets are kind of narrow and each condo has only enough room for 2 cars. But if you're taking more than 2 cars, the others can just park at the front office area which has plenty of parking space.

Great location with water access as an option if you have a boat. Facilities are reasonably clean and safe with a great pool. Very affordable and good for a family staying awhile. Had a not great experience with AC unit but management made it right. Will go back next summer for sure.

This place is kind of unfair. They had us cancel our stay after we asked about the age requirement.We initially planned to invite someone who is 19 but they told us they have a 21 and over age requirement. Keep in mind that we booked a condo before we were made aware of the requirements. We told them that we would respect the requirement and not bring them. But then they said we would have to cancel our stay because they couldn’t trust us to not sneak our friend in.To me this was unprofessional.They did however give us a refund.

Great place to visit, even better to live at. Quite community catering to many winter Texans and some who stayed permanently! Minutes away from the island yet private enough to feel a world apart. Gated and security make this place the best to live

This is our 3rd time to stay here in an rv. We liked the surroundings mostly, but this February we were there for a month but received bad news of a death in our family and had to leave 10 days early. They said they could not give refunds ,but we would have been happy with a credit. Not a good place if you have a dog

Beautiful, calm and peaceful mixed use park with RV lots, park models, sea cottages and homes for sale and for rent. Beautifully maintained property with a par 3 golf course, indoor and outdoor swimming pools, jacuzzi hot tubs, clubhouse and restaurant. Most rentals are on a canal with boat docks and lifts.Gated community with onsite management. If it had a beach it would be perfect.

Lots of cute units and plenty to do. Snafu checking in as it took nearly 3 hours to get right code to get in, kitchen in #304 needs new cookware and master toilet keeps running every few minutes! But who do you call? No management, apparently.😒
