Decent shop. Clean. Little to no service until you hunt down an employee. Went in for fish, and they looked healthy for the most part, but enough looked questionable that I didn’t buy anything.

Petco views animals as merchandise, and its disregard for their needs seemingly spills over to buyers who purchase the fish on a whim and neglect them afterward, as evidenced by “product reviews” on the company’s website.Betta fish are NOT merchandise. Do better. Stop killing your fish. Stop selling betta fish.75% of your betta fish are dead or sick with some type of disease...Stop putting them in small cups.

There is a Petco much closer to where I live yet... I will drive the extra just to go to this location. The employees are wonderful and very helpful. The store is always clean, and what I need is always in stock. It's worth the extra drive.

Store was well stocked. Petco's are always loud and seem dirty and not well laid out. This one was no exception. Also, for those that pay top dollar for these designer mutts, Petco is apparently onto you... (see photo- guinea pigs in cage marked Ferrets... just because it says Ferrets doesn't make it so)

I just came in to get treats for a cat. I have difficulty walking due to a back injury and the young lady in management helped me find them and even grabbed extras from the boxes she was unloading.

I love All of the workers here especially Jade and Dave. All the workers are so knowledgeable about all the animals in the store. They carry great products and a variety of animals. I've bought rats, mice, hamsters, fish and supplies from here.

The fish ranks are usually very clean and fish look healthy. The associates are always hard to find and act as if you are bothering them. I stood for 20 mins waiting on one and finally just walked out.

Been looking locally (Beaumont) and online for a pearl gourami for several weeks. No luck finding one in stock. Finally, extended my search to Port Arthur who had them in stock and at a good price. Their tanks were all clean and healthy looking, and the young man who assisted me was knowledgeable AND careful not to stress the fish while netting. Impressive Petco location, impressive staff. Thank you!

Hum! I'm in this place once a week, sometimes twice, for fish, aquarium supplies or puppy supplies and dog, I always ask about my reward points and what have I accumulated and never nothing, I've been shopping here for many years and now that I have new puppies to add to the family, I'm there more, but never any reward points enough to re-emburse any of the hundreds I've spent.Which tells me I would have to at least spend over 3 hundred a. month to be actually rewarded. Not worth it, I'll stay at Walmart for the most part from now on and or Petsmart. But then this happens today, I went back to buy something small, for my fish aquarium, only 1 thing and I was asked if I wanted a bag, that I would have to pay..10 cents if I wanted it; I laughed, the cashier sand, it was because I only purchased 1 thing . I told her that, that's a joke and I'm writing a review 🙃...👎👎🤷‍♀️

This was a first-rate experience for me I have two very large dogs one over 100 lb they helped me out from the moment I made the appointments for their shots all the way to the pricing and packages available for all of your pets vaccination needs! Even helped me find the appropriate harnesses and leashes for my dogs I left very happy and my animals left even happier I'm looking forward to also utilizing their pet grooming we'll definitely go here for all of my pet needs when in town

I was not given the chance to do a survey so I felt like I needed to do a review. I had the best experience at this location. I did a pick up order and two items ended up being out. However, Hailey (unsure of spelling) helped me out so well with finding a suitable replacement. Also, her and phoenyx helped me to get the proper amount of what I needed. I had no idea what I was doing and they educated me with no problems. Lastly, I have to brag on Hailey again. She was so kind over the phone and quick to answer questions. I absolutely loved my experience with those two workers, especially Hailey. I'm sure Phoenyx would've have been just as great.

The associate that helped us was really informative and attentive to all our questions and needs. We were completely clueless about having a pet rat and she took the time to explain what was all involved and what they need to be happy and healthy. We truly appreciate her.

Not sure busy when they open, which was nice. I price compared my dogs food between here and PetSmart. Petco ended up being a bit cheaper. The staff were friendly.

Got my water tested and told how to fix it. They didn't have my filters so I had to go to Walmart. My aunt bought 4 guppies and some expensive little dog bones. They have a good selection of fish and knowledge staff.
