I guess I just don’t understand. I’ve only been to one of these discount places a couple of times. I understand they are primarily in poverty stricken areas but that doesn’t make it ok for them to sell second hand items for the same price or less the the major brands. Walmart is normally within walking or Uber. Yes you may say can’t afford Uber or taxi but the savings at Walmart or a HEB or market basket will cover the cost and deliver you better value and food quality and save money.. I only post this cause I had a tooth pulled and needed something quick ( Gauze ). Got it and walked around and was amazed at the over priced junk that they sell.Randy

Extremely rude staff. Cashier was smoking a cigarette outside in the front and came in once we walked in. We were here to buy snacks and use the restroom after driving for 2 hours. There’s a restroom sign and the worker said very rudely they did not have public restrooms? We put our items back and did not want to support this establishment. We went down to the shell down the road instead.

Store #11700 4000 9th Ave. Port Arthur Texas, I was just at this store Monday, 5/23/20222. The woman checking me out was too busy talking to Everyone around her and she would Stop checking me out because she couldn’t talk and check me at the same time! I get home and 2 items that Were rang up were not in Any of my bags. I checked my receipt Before I called the store, those 2 items which were Loctite Super glue and a set of 2 plastic zip bags, a big clear one and a tie dyed coin purse, a gift set for my granddaughter. When I called the store, she answered the phone. She said everything was put in my bags and she asked if I checked my bags, well of course I did, Or I wouldn’t be calling them! Those items were Not in my bag! She said well they aren’t here! I said look around on the floor or on the counter, she said there’s nothing on the floor or the counter. I said maybe you didn’t put them in my bag and they made it into the Lady behind me. I mentioned how much she was talking while she was suppose to be checking me out! I told her I’m not lying, I have checked my receipt and all bags! I did not get those 2 items!!! She said, Well, I’ll have to check out the camera’s I said, Okay and gave her my phone number! I doubt seriously she will do it, so that’s $6.50 worth of merchandise Plus tax that I just got screwed out of BECAUSE THIS WOMEN WAS TOO BUSY TALKING TO EVERYONE IN THE STORE TO DO HER JOB!!! I could tell you every story this woman told While I waited on her to finish checking me out!!! She was No More Paying attention to what she was doing!!! This is pretty common at these Dollar stores! Pay attention to Your customers and What you are doing!!! I’m Certain this happens A lot with this women!!!! I’m very upset and sick of this happening!!!

Had to rush inside to find clothes for my gran cause she was put in the hospital.Found some nice things...and the cashier was suoer sweet. Best Family Dollar I been in for some time!

Clean store, but I did not find what I was looking for. The store clerks were very helpful when I did ask them about what I was looking for when I couldn't find it in the store. I was looking for 2019 wall calendars and they did not have any.

I am always greated every single time that I enter these doors. I am asked if I found everything that I came for. Staff is really polite and proffessional everytime. I will continue to shop here regularly.
