Best Small Town Hardware Shop You Could Ask For! The people working here are really what makes this place special. They are super friendly and really care for their community. Always willing to help with their knowledge and expertise. The store is also extremely well kept, never cluttered or unkempt. Love this place

I try to shop local businesses, but I am done shopping here. The lady at the register has been rude the last couple of times I have been there. Most of the workers don't have any clue about what they are selling. The prices listed on the shelf is often different than what rings up.

We had septic problems today, & let me just say these people here @ Ponder Ace Hardware are life savers. Eddie & crew helped my husband rebuild our aeration pump which saved us a whole bunch of money, & with these times when its hard to get by this group of people are there to help their neighbors. Outstanding customer service!! We're new to Ponder and stopped by to see what they had to offer. We ended up interacting with most of the incredibly helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable staff. The manager Eddie was particularly helpful with carpentry advice. Do it Best Ponder is our hardware store of choice. (Also got a great price on a few Milwaukee power tools)

Ponder Hardware's staff is always friendly and willing to help. They go above and beyond to answer my questions or find items. My kitchen sink fell from my granite counter top. The staff gave me great tips to fix it myself which saved me lots of time and money. #shoplocal

Great hardware store with a great selection. Went in yesterday (in the midst of a heat stroke.) got everything I needed for a sprinkler repair, in ground fire pit project and truck bed tool box repair. Walked out the door spending about $60 which included a $39 shovel. Extremely friendly and personable staff. If you like their page on Facebook and sign up for their membership you’ll get a discount on your first purchase. It’s great not having to make the trip and spend an hour zig zagging through Home Depot every time you need a few things. Thanks y’all!

This hardware store located on FM 2449 & Hwy 156 in Ponder Texas recently opened.The Owner, Harvey and his staff will go above and beyond to take care of your hardware needs. The store is nicely stocked with reasonable prices!Be sure to stop in and see them.....

Was excited to see this opening. Stopped by today (Sunday the 11th) to buy a few things only to see they are closed. If I’m gonna have to go to Justin, Denton, or Roanoke on my day off when I’m trying stuff done I’ll just go there whenever I need something. What’s the point in the having it local if it’s not open when I need something.

I was greeted when I entered, asked a couple times if i needed help by two differant people, very friendly staff and they were even nice enough to offer to carry my already decided purchases to the front so i didn't continue carrying them around the store.. I cant say I'd change anything..It was a great shopping experiance!
