To tell you the truth I really don't care to much about going to this store. The only reason I go there is because they are much cheaper than Homeland across the street. The store is too small. A lot of times I got to go all the way to the end of my ile to turn around if I have a basket. Sometimes they got so much stock in the middle you can't get get through. The people are really great. You also have to watch them check you out because a lot of the stuff that was supposed to be on sale wasn't on our recent the last 2 times we went there. I think I'm going to start going to the store at the end of 407 by 287 or the one in ponder. They have a lot more room and seem to be more organized. Unless I'm in a hurry.

The ONLY reason I am giving a one star is I was told Dollar General keeps a job posting up even though the position has been filled for four years. This is extremely misleading for those of us who are looking for a career change. I was extremely disappointed when the young lady was nice enough to tell me this. This young lady was kind with her words and even said sorry. I do understand it is not her fault but I am praying her bosses see this. It is not fair to keep the job posting up as if it is available. Not to mention my hopes being raised to only be slapped down. I was really looking forward to meeting this young lady & being part of a real team again. Again, I am doing this review in hopes the big bosses see this.Thank you ma'am for being kind on the phone this morning. I really do appreciate that more than you realize!!

This place is remodeled and brand new, as of today. It was a comfortable layout, has a refrigerated section and milk! It's an easy place for a Ponder-ite to pop in and grab something small. I've only been in twice, but the staff where friendly and respectful both times.

There are never enough employees it seems to check out especially during busy hours (5:00pm) they are usually too busy outside smoking and obviously irritated when they have to put out their cigarette to help. I'm not sure which one is so called "management" but she has a terrible attitude, filthy and unfriendly. The store is so-so. Not sure if anyone ever really cleans up or picks up the store. This store needs friendlier staff and organization.

This is my go to store when I'm at work in Ponder. The staff members there are always kind & caring. Don't think I've ever had a problem here in the almost 4 years I've lived in Denton

Great store, it's very clean, and you find what you need but they need more than one cashier. I have stood in line with 6 people ahead of me and one stressed employee trying to handle the frustration of them all. This is not fair to the employee or customer.

There are never enough employees working to cover the ratio of customers. You will not run in for something "real quick". It is generally clean and somewhat organized. Management should step up the scheduling.

This employees here are very nice. though the stock is sometimes low, it's not often. Very convenient supplies though saves a 15 mile drive all the time!

They have added fresh veggies and fruits as well as a lot more freezer and refrigerated items. They have also done better with getting more cashiers on registers when needed.

I love this place it's the right there in ponder I use it a lot I never get anything useful here though just snacks. The people actually have personalities and are pleasant.

I have trouble getting reception on my phone so its hard for me to scan my items to see if my coupons work with my items. I have to walk to the front of the store to make my phone work.

It's ok no one greets half the time they don't have what I go for however they are no cheeper than Walmart. Employees and prices are not worth my time it trip to shop there.

Pretty good prices. Always has exceptional customer service. I live In Ponder and go to Krum DG for the Customer Service.

Dollar General in Ponder is the only grocery store, but has competitive prices with walmart on most things.
