One of my go-to places when I need chicks and anything chicken related. The employees seem genuinely knowledgeable, and Powell Feeds tries to meet your needs by providing lots of choices. I appreciate how gentle the chicks were handled when selecting them and putting them in the carrier box.

I went to the feed store via suggestions from others and their positive experiences but it wasn’t quite what I expected. I was able to get great feed and scratch. The owner was very knowledgeable on chickens but the conditions the chickens were in wasn’t great I saw lots of lethargic birds and poopy butts. Granted it was really hot. I will definitely go check it out again to see if conditions improve.

Powell feed is the best place in Centerpoint and Kerrville to get feed for your animals. The people there are very nice, easy going, and will help load your feed into your vehicle. Sometimes you'll even see their goats and chickens walking around in the yard they have.

Wonderful folks. Always helpful, kind, polite, honest and knowledgeable. Many pleasant experiences with them. Also, very happy to see them selling ammunition and firearms now. We needed that in Center Point.
