Doctor was super friendly and answered all our questions. Explained to us in details about the ear infection cause and remedies.Overall , was worth the visit and super friendly staff šŸ™ŒšŸ»

Worse vet ever. I've worked for a vet years ago. The Dr and staff don't know how to take temper. They are afraid of animals. They are beyond rude. You aren't even allowed to go back with your furry family. Never again and this will be shared by word of the mouth. She definitely doesn't deserve one star.

I LOVE Thrive. Back in October my cat had an infected tooth and made an appointment based on a recommendation from a family member. They treated her with so much compassion and empathy which is so important if you’re like me and your pet is like one of your children. They were able to get her all fixed up. (I do think the doctor who preforms dentals has since left the practice so I’m unsure if they still do dentals)I came back to thrive with my same cat on Tuesday because she was having a nosebleed. They got me in as soon as possible and I was met with the same kindness and compassion. They were able to prescribe me the medication needed and answered all of my questions. Then I even got a text today saying if I had any questions they would reply asap.I will always bring my pets to Thrive because I trust them with my cats and they are affordable as far as pet health care goes. Thank you guys so much!

My first visit to Thrive with my dog was fine, not great. I took her there mostly for her allergies and skin issues. They did bloodwork, a few vaccinations and prescribed antibiotics and Apoquel. I went on a Thursday, on Friday they left me a message stating that they had bloodwork results. I was at work so as soon as I got the message, I called them back, no answer so I left a message around 10:00 a.m. I called several more times and left messages, no one ever answered the phone. I left the last message right before closing time, still no returned call. Now I’m worrying all weekend about bloodwork results. I called again on Monday, no answer of course. Finally on Tuesday Dr Willis called me back with results. She was thorough and very nice. Everything was fine with my dog.Today (about a month later) I requested a refill for her Apoquel and it was approved. I had a plumber at my house so I waited to go pick up her Rx until 5:20. I got to Thrive at exactly 5:38 p.m. and they are closed! The sign on the door clearly states that they are open until 6:00p.m.Now my dog will be scratching, licking , biting her skin all weekend. I work 6:30a.m. To 7:00p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday next week so I have no idea when I’ll be able to get my dog’s medicine. This is HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! I’ll get my Rx and will NEVER return to this vet clinic!!!

Great Service!!! They are taking extra time to see patients & keep everyone safe (pets, let parents, staff). But it's how they, the vet techs & veterinarian, took time to talk to me and give/text me important info on at home care, that has me pleased.Making the initial appointment was a bit hard because there are several clinics in the area (I'm still new here). But everything after that was great. I highly recommend this veterinarian office.*The cost of veterinarian care are lower all Thrive Vet locations. It's appreciated since I have only had rescued doggies. The best price is when you become a member. **And I highly recommend becoming a member. I believe it would be good especially if you have a senior or predisposed sickly fur baby. Their prices even without membership are impressive. The care so far has been excellent!

They say at the website first exam for free when I called her the first time she said that is true. After that I get one more call from the same office it said no this is wrong just for membership first time for free which doesn’t make sense so I said I’m gonna take legal action because you’re doing fraud, after that Manager called me she said that is true the first visit for free exam but I was afraid to go because it seemed for me. They want to charge me very expensive for the medicine since the exam for free so be careful these people not honest at all about what they’re doing.

This clinic was the worst mistake I’ve ever made. I brought my dog Ace in after he swallowed a collar and he needed surgery same day. They quoted me $2,000 for surgery. I agreed and they took my dog. I picked him up that night after surgery and they handed me a $4,000 bill stating the surgery took longer than expected therefore costing more. I explained that they should have at least called me and let me know this. I paid and walked out with my dog. A week after surgery my dog began throwing up and his abdomen became extremely bloated with fluid. I called Thrive and took him in the same day. They looked at Ace and said we do not have enough proof that this is from surgery and said there was nothing they could do. I was shocked. The discharge papers say recovery is 14 days. I left their clinic and took him to the animal hospital where the vet told me that this is fluid build up from a leaked intestine and my dog had an infection. It was too late. Our family dog died that same night. In the second picture, you can clearly see, how his body had a build up of fluid. I didn’t receive not one phone call of concern from Dr. Garibay at Thrive. Not one phone call to check how he was doing or an explanation of what could have gone wrong after surgery. Do yourselves a favor and look for a place that actually cares about animals and not just a paycheck. We lost our dog because of this place.

UPDATE:I used to like this place gave it 5 stars , but apparently they were bought out. It is no longer Thrive Affordable Pet Care and they are right its NOT affordable hence the removal of that word from the name. The prices have gone up tremendously and the care quality has gone down. My friend took my dog in while I was in the car due to a leg injury, the receptionist came out to explain the laundry list of things the doctor was trying to up sale me and the vet assistant came out and rudely told her she was not allowed to come out to the car and talk to people, that if I needed the info I had to come in, she was very very rude. She was so rude and hateful in her tone the poor girl and acted as if I did not exist, truly disgusting, I was in shock. VERY unprofessional and rude! I will not be back. Only person not rude was the receptionist. Spent several hundred dollars and problem not fixed, I will be going somewhere else, hopefully a bit less expensive with a kind, caring and professional staff.2 years ago I gave it a 5 star review...Brought our 2 dogs in for check up and vaccinations. Very pleased with the Doctor and staff as well as the pricing. It was quick and efficient no waiting.

This place used to be great but it's become really disappointing recently. They denied refill of my Rx order for flea/tick and heart worm twice before telling me they needed to see one of my dogs to refill it. So I made an appointment for my dog to get a check up and sent a request for refill that same day after the appointment was over. I thought it was finally going to get taken care of so I forgot to check the order. Then, when it was time for my dogs to get their monthly medicine I found that my second dogs medicine never came in and they failed to fill the Rx again! Before this, appointments have become very difficult to make. The app sucks, but its the only slightly convenient way to make an appointment. If you try to call you get a call service instead of an actual employee at the clinic. I've requested vaccine records so I can take my dogs to a new vet and there is no actual "vaccine record" page, it's all confusing and doesn't make any sense.I will say though, the vet techs and vets themselves have always been friendly. But it's time to find a place that has a more streamlined system.

They are great, but beware of surprised charges. Just make sure you ask for cost related to every little thing. I'm my opinion, not very "affordable pet care" as their advertisement suggests.Other than that, the service is great. Very thorough with their exams. I'm still going to go there, but just a heads up on $$$

I went today for the first visit. The place is clean, the doctor was great and spent a lot of time going over medical records and helping us set up a plan of action. The staff is understanding and tries to help limit what expenses are necessary. Would definitely recommend!

This place used to be great! They started as a low cost vet option and they had thrive plus which was wonderful. Now... They charge 50 bucks just to get in the door! Plus, I've been getting charged another 10 bucks for a "clinic fee"? What is that? So, $60 just to be told nothing wrong with my dog. There are MUCH better places to go if you are going to be paying premium prices anyway!!

I took my cat in for an urgent visit after she stopped eating/drinking, Shaking, and Not moving for 2+ days. We know our cat very well and knew something was wrong. When she was presented to Doctor Chris Arnold, she allegedly ate a cat treat and the problem was US and not her. Per his SOAP noted in the urgent report he stated ā€œ I told them that cats will stop eating for behavioral reasons and just because she is not eating does not mean that there is something medically wrong with her. ā€As a vet tech myself, he proceeded to tell me to go onto the ā€œOhio University of Veterinary Medicineā€ website to further educate myself. I found that very disrespectful as a Client/Vet Tech/ and as a worried pet mom.I took her to another vet the next day due to her still shaking, not eating/drinking, and not wanting to move. After a thorough physical exam we finally got an answer. She hyper extended her left paw and was in severe pain for 3 days at this point.Very disappointed in this DVM and his care to the Clients & Patients. Never coming back. We spent $200 to be told that we were uneducated pet parents and she was being ā€œbehavioralā€. When it was indeed something Medical.

They were amazing! We had an emergency situation and had came right before closing. They fixed my dog up and treated both humans and dogs with excellent care despite the late hour. I'm so grateful they were able to get us in and get my dog back on track to being healthy.

This is my first time here with pet Dude. We arrived and was placed in a room waiting to see the doctor and it’s been over 30 minutes. No one has come to see about us.

I love taking my fur baby to Thrive (Plano-Legacy). They're always friendly and provide a great level of care at a reasonable price. (K)Carley is awesome! Apologies if I misspelled the name. But she's great with my baby Kari 😊

My original review was 5 stars because they handle my dog so well. I am now at 1 star due to the poor service received after the visit.I was told by the vet that I can call the clinic if my dog has any further issues with the medication given or anything else, but they have an answering service that does not put you through to the clinic, this happens every time. I was told that they can submit a call back request that can take up to 24hrs. They really wanted to setup another appointment to get more money from me.I had to drive up to this location to speak to anyone and I was chastised about what I choose to feed my dog without knowing the history. So instead of a resolution for the medication they prescribed making him sick, I’m now going to a different vet.Don’t expect to be able to call the clinic with medication questions because you will be in touch with an answering service that talks over you and wants to schedule an appointment before knowing whether or not another visit is really needed. If they do request a call back it will take up to 24hrs.

The staff is very kind to our doggies. They always respond on time. every time I call with any concerns they take it serious and they always try their best to fit my dog into their busy schedule. I have purchased their healthcare plan and you have unlimited vet visit for a very affordable price. Thank you for all you do and for this amazing organization that provides care at low cost for our pets.

The staff was friendly. The check in and check out process were quick, those were the only things that were quick. I waited 25 minutes in the exam room for someone to come see us. Waited another 10 for them to return. They took my dog out of the room to go give him his vaccinations and run his heart worm test. I recently moved from another country, so he is unfamiliar with many things. Not having me in the exam room with him is one of them. He was so nervous and anxious, I could hear him from the other side of the wall. Although they said they only took him out because they were running behind, I will not be returning. They were not sensitive to the fact that everything is new to him. He did not have a good experience and I prefer to be present for vaccinations and examination.

I was moving to another country with strict rabies laws. One requirement was that a blood sample be sent to a specific lab to prevent a 180 day quarantine for the cat upon arrival. This test and certificate was over $400. I asked to pick up the certificate but was informed that they would mail it to me. I realized at he airport that they only emailed me the test results and I had never gotten the official certificate. The receptionist had failed to put my apartment # on the letter, even though it was correct in my file, and it got lost in the mail. This certification had an embossed stamp and seal on it so a photo copy was not a sufficient replacement. I almost got denied entry to the country, my cat had to quarantine for another 180 days (because of this we had to change our housing plans in the new country so she didn't have to do that at a kennel) and they wasted my $400 by losing the certificate.

-Booking is a rough experience-Very little appreciation for client’s intake questionnaire details-Didn’t bother to even speak to us to apologize for the miscommunication and delayed treatmentThe call number is a call center that doesn’t know the time zones well. They book appointments for the wrong time and you have to consistently repeat your city to ensure they book the right location. Errors do happen. Sadly, the consistent miscommunications persisted. The vet refused to see us and had the receptionist tell us an emergency clinic in Carrollton would be better suited because we weren’t sure what was causing the vomiting. Despite the fact that the symptoms were provided during our scheduling. She didn’t even come to see our dog for a general outlook. We didn’t see her once. We were turned away and told they were too busy in the emergency clinic to help us. It was very frustrating and delayed our dogs treatment extensively. To the credit of the vet tech/assistant, she was very sincere and apologetic and likely the only reason I didn’t request to voice my frustration to the vet immediately.

Overall great experience at this Thrive location. Our pup is very anxious and has severe separation anxiety. He is one that has to be muzzled when vaccines and wellness exams are given. The techs and Dr. Kailey Phi took things slow and didn’t push our pup, they did it at his pace. Dr. Kailey and one of the techs talked us through some tips and advice for separation anxiety and really listened to us and our concerns. Would recommend this location to anyone looking for routine check ups/vaccinations. (I have not used they’re urgent care, dental, or surgery options so can’t review those areas)

Great place, great vets! Everyone is amazing. Unfortunately since I’ve been taking my animals to them the office visit fee has gone up twice, the thrive plus membership fee has gone up twice, the thrive plus commitment went from 6 months to 12 months and most recently they now add a $10 Clinic Support fee to every visit to take care of their medical waste. But if you don’t focus on the rising fees their staff & facility is fantastic! Great place to take care of you animals!

Thrive is great! Affordable, straight forward and super easy self navigated appointment search and book via their site! I hate having to wait to call, depending on what time it is and if they’re open, begging for an appointment and having to go back and forth comparing a handful of dates before you can get anything booked. I’ve never had an issue booking an appointment the same day or next day. They’re super organized and thorough when going over the diagnosis, treatment plan and details of the billing. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a no-nonsense vet office.

I could not be happier with our experience at this vet! Kind, attentive service and they were able to take us as a walk-in. Close to my house and affordable. The vet was caring and explained various options available to me for my dog's needs. So glad I found them!

I’m happy that Sarah’s pet below was able to be worked in last minute and seen. I wish that had been my experience. My two dogs were booked for their annual vaccines on a Tuesday and Wednesday. The dog with the Wednesday appointment became very unwell the previous Thursday and Friday and when I called to ask if she could be seen sooner, maybe switching the appointments and see her on Tuesday, I was told it was not possible, and additionally was told they would not see her for sickness at her vaccine appointment - the soonest they could get her a sick visit was 10 days away. She deteriorated overnight (very swollen lymph nodes, weak and lethargic) and I took her to the emergency vet on Saturday where she was diagnosed with lymphoma. I was told to have her seen at her regular vet right away. They still had no appointments open and could not fit me in.I took them both to a new vet who was able to fit me in the very next morning when I called late in the afternoon. We were Thrive patients for about two years. We visited for shots and dentals and an occasional ear or skin infection. Thrive was wonderful for routine and annual care. They would be great for a puppy package for checkups and routine shots. I wish I’d had a better experience for a sudden illness. Ten days is too long - if I had tried waiting for that appointment I believe she would have died before we could make it.

Unfortunately had a very bad experience with the front desk employee.I was very concerned about my cats (they seemed pretty sick) and made what I thought was a same-day appointment—I did, in fact, NOT make a same day appointment, but showed up thinking I did. Mistake on my part. I was informed at the front desk—rather rudely—that my appointment was on Monday. I asked if there was any availability for today, but was met with a very short ā€œNoā€. No checking to see if there was any time in the day, no politeness, and no sympathy for my situation. I asked once again, and mentioned my concern for my animals, and was told abruptly and condescendingly that I should ā€œprobably take them to an animal hospitalā€.I’d like to mention that the clinic was completely empty, and completely silent. My cats are eating and drinking. There’s no immediate threat. I know that a vet appointment would be wise, but a hospital visit would be unnecessary and extremely expensive. If this is how you treat people, I recommend removing the ā€œwalk-ins welcomeā€ sign, as walk-ins are very clearly not welcome.
