My dog is a rescue and has severe separation anxiety. She is also a German shepherd. Recipe for disaster I brought my dog in thinking it was going to be a nightmare…….Boy was I pleasantly surprised! The groomers were so kind and gentle with her. I have taken her to both Tomas and Val and she adores them both!!!I was so impressed with the facility I scheduled a temp test to see if we could try daycare. It was easy to schedule and they were so great! My dog failed (no surprise and no fault of the daycare staff she’s a lot) but they had amazing advice to give as far as what steps to take to help her as well as info on dog training. THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!!WE LOVE DOGGIE ZEN DEN!!!!SEE YOU AT OUR NEXT GROOM!!!🐕

We brought our 6 year old and 16 week old here for the very first time. I was so impressed!! They look great and we happy to see us, not anxious like i thought they would be. Met the 2 owners, very friendly, front staff very sweet. Thank you doggie zen den!! We will definitely be back.

I took my poodle bichon mix, Sam, last week for grooming for the first time at Doggie Zen Den since we just moved here. I asked for round, teddy bear face and a shorter length body. I understand Sam is anxious and I told them he’d be and they need to be patient with him. Tomas pretty much shaved Sam’s face. When I picked up Sam, I asked if Sam was giving them a hard time, they said he did fine. Sam is 4 and I’ve taken him to his normal groomer since he was a puppy he had never had his face hair shaved like that ever. It just seems like they didn’t care at all or gave Sam the attention that he needed. I called and told them that was not what I asked for. They said they’ll put it on his file next time they won’t give him the same haircut. There will be no next time!!! I’m extremely disappointed!

Been bringing my pooch to Doggie Zen Den for a while now for grooming, daycare and extended stay. Their Staff is always nice and get me in and out with efficiency. The Zen Den is clean and well kept and our dog seems always happy when we pick her up from a grooming or stay there

I just took my corgi to Doggie Zen Den for the first time and loved the experience. We found Doggie Zen Den through Tik Tok and I wanted to give them a try. I booked a grooming (with no haircut) and a de-shedding appointment for him. From the first initial phone call to make an appointment- I knew the staff was going to be extremely friendly and professional. I was very pleased with them! After I picked my dog up, he smelled so good and looked so happy… plus they put on the cutest bandana on him! My corgi can be super reactive sometimes & not the most cooperate pup when it comes to grooming but they claimed to say he did super well even with his nail trim. I was so impressed and surprised by how well he did. I’ll definitely take him back for future grooming!

A safe and awesome place. We have been bringing our dog Ryder here for a few months now and he loves it. The facility is super clean and well kept and staff are friendly and professional. We love that they offer one stop shopping. In addition to daycare, Ryder has been in training with Nichole with awesome results. They have also handled the introduction of my daughter’s new puppy to our large older lab in a few safe sessions.The convenience of onsite available grooming has also been a great help for us. The peace of mind that comes with knowing that our Ryder is happy and safe makes our once a week, 35 minute drive to Doggie Zen Den well worth the trip!

We have used Doggie Zen Den prob for 10+ years with 4 dogs at different times. I love that they post pictures every night on their website. Our last dog was our sweet English shepherd who diagnosed with nasal cancer a year ago. He had special needs and special food and when we had to be gone Doggie Zen Den was 100% willing to do whatever was required. There was never a question as to them not being willing to do what was needed when he was there. I asked and they did what was necessary. We will be forever grateful that we knew he was in good hands when we were gone. Sadly he passed away 6 weeks ago. I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend them.

They are not really caring about the puppies. Both our Aussies had cuts and blood around their private areas. I called and emailed them the pictures and asked what happened and they gave no response. She was in pain trying to lick the wounds for couple weeks. Both our puppies are patient with grooming and with this experience I’m not comfortable boarding or getting them groomed. I’d ask other pet owners to watch their puppies after the visit.

I’ve taken my dog to so many different groomers over the last 8 years and she’s always terrified to go, I usually have to carry her out the car because she refuses to get out. Here I thought it was normal until I brought her here. She walks in, is not scared, even wags her tail when we walk in. This is also the only place where it takes an hour to get her groomed, other places have kept her 4-6 hours. I’m very happy with their grooming service and def recommend.

Our pups have been at Doggie Zen Den for care-day and boarding several times and they have always taken a great care of our girls. I wouldn’t trust anyone else to look after our pups while we are away. Thank you for all that you do. It’s greatly appreciate it.

My great Pyrenees had a horrible experience at 10 months of age with another groomer. I researched and found Doggie zen Den and finally had him bathed again at 19 months. They were very understanding with my concerns and his anxiety level. They did a wonderful job and the groomer was able to clip his nails, which is something I was going to hold off on until he was used to seeing a Groomer. He will definitely be back in 4-6 weeks!!

It has been over 4 months now and Ellyn (previous owner) has not contacted me or stated any concern for my friend. My dog was severely sick for about 3 weeks, shortly after I lost my other animal under my care due to illness and was put to sleep.I paid for a two week day training service and still to this day have no received my full service for the 1500$. With vet bills and the cost to put my other dog down I ended up spending close to 3000$.New owner did contact me almost a month after but as issue occurred two weeks before she came, no one holds responsibility. I requested a refund due to all the troubles and the answer was no.

Been using their daycare and boarding services the last year and I have no complaints! They are on top of their stuff from what I can see and even when there was an incident where someone fed my dog twice as much as they should’ve during the 5 nights he was there, they were quick to respond and resolve the matter together. While I still had to deal with the aftermath and put him on a diet for a while, I appreciated their responsiveness. Everyone there has been very kind and helpful. I have peace of mind knowing that he is safe with their staff.

The staff here are very friendly and accommodating. Communication is convenient with text and scheduling is a breeze. Our sheepadoodle loves coming here for day camps and grooming. She also get trained here with Bethany, who is fantastic.

We have been taking out pup to Doggie Zen Den for almost two years. We use this facility for daycare, grooming, and boarding. They have been consistently professional, friendly, and helpful. They seem to genuinely care about and get to know every dog that is in entrusted to them. New proprietors purchased the business some months back. The quality of service has remained consistently excellent, and they seem to be updating the facility nicely and making other improvements throughout the operation. I would highly recommend Doggie Zen Den.

My dog was cut by the groomer at this place. I wasn’t available at that time so they took him to an emergency vet nearby to get him taken care off. However when my pup needs a followup visit, they declined and said this isn’t their responsibility. How does this sound right? It’s like hurting a child but doesn’t care if the child fully recovered or not.

So, I took my dog here this week for the first time. I did the "temperament" test day a few weeks ago and I guess he passed the test! 😂 So basically, before you can leave your dog for daycare or boarding they have you do a "temperament" test. You drop off your dog for 6 hours for a visit. They use this time to determine if you can leave your dog for playtime. I was looking for a new place after a bad experience with Petsmart. I work from home most of the time but one week a month I'm required to go in office. So, I'm not even sure how it was...? Each day I dropped my dog off at about 715am and picked him up between 530-6. The employees were all extremely friendly but, there was absolutely NO feedback. 🤔 I wasn't looking for a itemized invoice of his day but a little info would be nice. Did he eat? Did he play? NOTHING! They said "He's so cute!" And, I appreciate that but.... there's just very little communication. So honestly, I'm not even sure what to think. My dog seemed happy when I was dropping him off. He was not apprehensive about going in or being there. He was happy when I picked him up. So, it seems he had a good experience. I guess I just wish they would say, "He had a good day" or say ANYTHING at all. 😂

Brought 3 dogs in to get bathed/groomed. One came out looking like a dog that hadn't been cared for since birth. was told they may have to cut shorter than normal but they literally shaved her entire body and head. Never have a seen such a disastrous grooming. Not apologetic. Never returned my call.

My puppy and I are so happy to be able to go to Doggie Zen Den! He really enjoys puppy day care and has made such progress in the 2-3 times he’s gone already. I look forward to being able to take him to adult doggy day care once he gets a bit older. The staff are always so friendly and helpful and I have no worries about dropping my puppy off for a couple hours. He always looks well taken care of and loved on. So thankful for this place!

We have been loyal customers at this place for well over 7 years since we got our puppy. We’ve given them referrals and supported them however we can with tips and good business.While the groomers are okay, the customer service is atrocious. They are unaccommodating and will charge you late fees. There was a miscommunication regarding appointment timings and rather than working things out with us and abiding a “customer is always right policy”, they did not groom our dog and proceeded to charge us a late fee. Another one of our friends has had a similar experience with them.I would avoid this place at all costs as your time and money is better spent elsewhere.

I took my dog here for grooming for the first time recently and I could not be happier with the results! My dog is usually very nervous but the staff took their time with him to make him comfortable! I love the groom he got and I thought the price was very affordable! Totally recommend the doggie zen den!

My dog seems to enjoy his time here when he stays for boarding. The staff are always friendly and truly appear to enjoy their jobs and dog clients. I have to say their play groups must be active too for these dogs - my boy always comes home exhausted (but happy) and ready for a nap! Lol

Ellyn, the owner, is always enthusiastic and attentive when we see her at the Zen Den. The staff is helpful and accommodating; which is especially reassuring during these stressful times.

Love Love Love this place! My first experience was fantastic. Super nice staff. No hassle. Tracy was my groomer. She is so sweet and clearly knows what she is doing. She totally understood what I wanted for my dog (chow/shepard mix). He has a lot of hair and I wanted it thinned out, not shaved and cleaned up. His appt was about 2 1/2 hrs and he looks and smells absolutely fantastic. The best I have ever seen him look. Even though I live in Dallas, I will make the trip for the staff, service, and happiness of my dog.
