Great home town grocery store with a very good little hardware store inside! If you need screws like drywall and the t series star bit construction screws , they got them in every length for $4.99 a pound bulk!! Beat Home Depot at 10 bucks a box

This store sells expired foods. Third time I have gotten sick from eating food bought here. They had some kind of sewage problem last month. Store stunk for weeks. Be careful with boxed and bagged food. Fresh vegetables aren’t actually fresh. Meat seems to be ok. Dairy is hit or miss. More of a social gathering place than anything else. No cleaning of carts and no masks or gloves on most employees. Be careful when shopping here.

For a small town grocery, there was surprising variety. We couldn't believe they had Blue Diamond crackers. Wish they had Kombucha and Dave's bread, but the items were priced reasonably.

Seems meat quality has been very very poor in recent years. Have a couple cashiers who seem to lack customer service skills. Prices overall aren't bad and I still go there frequently despite problems.

It was way better when it was Super S. The produce is horrible especially the jalapenos, they're so wrinkled they should be free. The staff is the only good thing about this store.

Thank goodness we have a supermarket in Cross Plains I personally like the store very much it's not Wal-Mart or HEB but it is handy and has good prices and good service and if you want something Samantha will try to get it for you

Not a great selection of fresh veggies. Out of selections pretty often. Unless you get one of the older ladies, the checkers are not friendly.

Easy and quick place to grab basics. They don't have specialty items or a large produce section, but if you need eggs, milk, potatoes or bread it's a quick in and out.
