Quaint spot with great food and extensive menu. Has bbq, select Cajun specialties, and Tex mex food. I got the small chopped brisket sandwich with onions, jalapeño, and pickles as well as the boudin balls. Both dishes were great and I’d try it again.Service was great and plenty of room for seating.Parking: Looks like there’s a drive thru as well as open parking.Wheelchair accessibility: There is a wheelchair ramp.

My husband & I stopped at Bubba's BBQ while traveling across this beautiful country & had the best BBQ of our lives! The staff & owners were very friendly & everything we ate was absolutely amazing! The brisket was lean, flavorful, cooked to perfection & simply delicious! The pulled pork was another favorite & equally as delicious. When it comes to the BBQ sauce, I loved the Sweet Pig Sauce... I found it to be the perfect combination of sweet & tangy. The fried okra was awesome, but the slaw... oh, the coleslaw! Chopped crispy crunchy sweet magical goodness! I loved the slaw!The etoufee was another excellent choice, rich with flavor & just enough cajun spice to keep you coming back for more. You definitely don't want to miss out on this delicious BBQ spot, It's sure to please. We ordered extra brisket & slaw to take on the road, and look forward to eating here again sometime in the future... Thank you for an incredible Texas BBQ dinner, Bubba's Smokehouse!

SO GOOD!!! The quesadillas and shrimp/crawfish Étouffée have perfect size servings for taking a little bit home. I really want to get their recipes, so delicious. It really wasn’t a long wait for the food. They are really friendly people.

The food was amazing!!! Everyone was super friendly.We ordered brisket and sides ,potato salad, garden salad, dirty rice, sweet potato soufflé, french fries and beans. Our favorite was the sweet potato soufflé but looks like you can’t go wrong with anything you order.

Terrible barbecue, terrible service. Took forever and no one was even there... Asked for multiple things on the menu which they were out of. Then asked for lean brisket and the sandwiches were too fatty to eat. Specifically requested extra BBQ sauce on side. None provided. One napkin and fork for four meals. What a waste of time and money!

The inside of this “restaurant” was very questionable. No air conditioning, bathroom needs work, and lots of miscellaneous items around the inside. Despite all of this, there was nice service and the food was really good. I would suggest getting the food to go, and you might be happy.

Wow! Don't miss this delicious family BBQ place just south of the stoplight. The brisket was moist, tender, well trimmed. Homemade beans, sweet potato casserole and pecan piebars are made with love and delicious! The prices are good, and way better value over fastfood. Clean, friendly and great bbq. The food was so delicious, everything we tried was great. Authentic home cooking and such a neat little place. Eva is so sweet as well. Definitely try the sweet potato soufflé and the boudin balls!

Great place. Driving through from Colorado and decided to give Bubba's a try. It was worth it. My husband and I got the BBQ potatoes and he said that was the best potato he's had in a long time. It took longer then expected, but you can't rush quality. We plan on stopping again next time we travel through Cross Plains.

If you are looking for a real Texan place , friendly and sweet Texan owners, and a good food, this is the place! I tried the Senior plate, brisket with 2 sides (beans and coleslaw) with corn bread, good choice! Oh! and a Pecan Pie home made, delicious !

This is quality Texas Barbeque. Tender brisket with a great flavor and the spicy sausage is excellent! Service was really good as well. Well worth a visit or making it a regular stop. Reliving the experience is making me hungry! Yes sir!

Really cool country place. Big menu of interesting sounding items. We had a 'cajun stuffed potato' and a regular loaded stuffed potato. Both were awesome. Service was perhaps a little slow, but look, this isn't the kind of place to be a hurry in. Just a couple of ladies in the back making everything fresh, running the front, serving and bussing. These ladies were working hard and earning every penny. I highly recommend and will be back soon. Y'all try them!

The food was good. But, we had a to go order & the staff forgot 2 items that we ordered (fruit loop bars). We didn't have time to go back. AND theu didn't give us cutlery which was a huge deal because we came from out of town & were eating at the baseball park. Minus 2 stars for 2 mistakes.
