I love both B&S in Pittsburg and in Gilmer a lot more before they sold out to a group of investors and their prices went through the roof. They have went down on prices a little from when it first sold. They had the prices scaring folks away, so I feel they backed off a little bit. It’s still my favorite hardware store to go too but I only go for things I need right away. I also really like that they kept most of the staff after it sold. The main difference is pricing.

Very friendly staff. Very helpful. Have bought a lot of lumber the last month here and the price is competitive if not cheaper than home depot and there is always someone to load it. Would recommend over any chain store.

Sister and I drive on from our of town to replace urns on our fathers grave. We needed holes drilled in them so they wouldn't break from ice. They drilled the holes for us and charged us nothing. Small town hospitality is still alive. Awesome!

Helpful staff that knows hardware. Hometown business so your money stays local and provides for many local job opportunities. They may cost a little more than lows but you will get a much better experience with East Texas hospitality.

Everyone in there is friendly and super helpful. I'm in the middle of some big projects so I've been there nearly every day and 99.9% of the time they have what I need without me having to run to the next town to one of the big box stores.

sorry. they have never hired a black person that I can remember. so I drive out of town to shop myself. This is the only place in town that hasn't changed as I was a child growing up there. I went and gotten water in the parking lot.

They were really rude and watching me like I was going to steal something. When I was over at the the light needing help they just passed me up stairing I Findlay had to flag them down to just get help
