I had a fabulous time working with the amazing people at Country Accents and Backyard Bistro in the back had the best gumbo I have ever had!!! Please do yourself a favor and check out the INCREDIBLE antiques, butterfly garden, herb garden, farm to table restaurant (with Chef Aaron Gonzalez) and, if you’re lucky, say hi to Wilbur the potbellied pig and the flock of guinea hens! Also, if you’re looking for a great deal on a RV or a school bus, they have those too!!!!

Wow! I am convinced one cannot find nicer people, with better integrity and passion for Americana and antiques. What a great find: Country Accents Antiques! My wife and I purchased a beautiful Diamond Dyes cabinet for a sitting room in our nineteenth century farmhouse. Country Accents Antiques is one of the most unique places I have ever been to. Not only are there quality antiques there are tons of fun things to see and do on the property. You can wander all around the property looking at the herb and rose gardens, check out the chickens, pigs, and many fur babies that live the attention. Also, if you get hungry there is a cafe on site with a gourmet chef. You can also rent the cabins if you want to make a weekend of it. I highly recommend this place for the whole family. The owner Miss Eva is very nice and friendly and has many stories to tell about the history of the antiques. Make sure you have a few hours to spend wandering about the property. You will love it! :-)

I worked here for about 18 months and can honestly say it's one of the best jobs I've ever had. My days were spent with some of the nicest people you'd ever care to know, while surrounded by truly beautiful antiques in a near-fairy-tale environment. Eva Lee, the proprietor, genuinely cares for the people she works with and rewards their efforts justly. In addition to being a great place to work, it's an ideal place to find all the furnishings for your house - my place is full of unique and beautiful items sourced from this shop. Great destination spot too, especially if you need a cabin for a weekend during one of Bandera's many events throughout the year. Check it out - it's unlike anything you've likely ever seen!

Very unique & quality pieces that none, or very few of, your friends have! They had a 1920s workbench that they tailored so I could use it for my kitchen island/ workstation. Its solid craftsmanship & they matched the additions perfectly to the old wood. Everyone who sees it stops to check the entire thing out- every drawer & chopping board & seat.

Country Accents Antiques is one of the best antique shops my husband and I have been in, in a long time. There is a great variety of everything from an amazing collection of "old general store" counters, to furniture,glassware, pottery, outdoor garden decorations. So many nice things. Friendly and helpful staff, including the owner. We just happened upon this shop while in the Pipe Creek area. We plan to stop this way again when we travel back to MN this spring. We may also have lunch at the Restaurant next to the Antique shop.

Great place! Lots of treasures, big and small. Their antiques are of a great quality, no junk. There are fun yard finds in the back and a restaurant with delicious food an incredible in-house made desserts. Definitely worth the trip!

Such a fun place to visit. They actually have antiques, not just a bunch of used stuff. There are multiple buildings with old store cabinets, registers, metal work, woodwork, furniture and so much more. The yard itself is great to walk through, you'll probably see Wilbur and Templeton the pigs running around and the chickens. You can get farm fresh eggs here. She walk right out and gather them for you. The Backyard Bistro restaurant in the very back of the property is wonderful! I'll do a separate review for that.

What a great place to find treasures. I remember going here when I was younger and the joy of seeing the pig. It's come full circle and I was able to go with my girls today. We got some treasures and got to pet Polly the puppy, Templeton, and Wilber the pigs and a few crazy chicken's.

I love antique shopping. My absolute favorite place to find treasures is at country accents. I have been shopping there for many years. Eva has always been helpful, informative and delightful as I shopped. She is so knowledgeable about all antiques.I highly recommend a delightful, wonderful experience at Country Accents.

Wonderful antiques, love that items are labeled w history for reference. We ate @the bistro. The service, staff,& food were great. Will definitely be back. Loved the pot belly pigs we saw resting on the porch.

If you are considering this place as a "Work Camper", keep on traveling down the road. The lady who owns this place will work you until you drop. Just take a look at the huge furniture she has for sale in her store... She will have you moving these items here and there... on a daily basis... just because she changed her mind.You'll also be cleaning up after her dogs and her pet pig.Oh, she'll also have you working inside her hot steel shed... while her pig is inside the air conditioned house. Then, because the pig isn't house broken, she'll have you clean up the pig poop in the house.We were here for 3 months... and the conditions were the worst we have ever experienced as "Work Campers".

Great strip mall center. We purchased a Woodtex shed then got dinner at the restaurant there. Omg the CARROT CAKE IS 5 🌟 am 52 and that is the best cake I've ever ate!!! You must try it.

Country Accents is the best antique store in the Hill Country. All of the items in Ms. Eva's store are in great condition. She has something for everyone in Country Accents. After you spend a few hours looking around her beautiful store you can stop in the Backyard Bistro for a treat from Chef Aaron.

You will be dazzled with the variety! All items have been arranged by era as well as type (kitchen items, '50's era, farm equipment, Industrial Age, Art Deco, yard art, Victorian, and much more). There are even antiques from very specific niche areas in the US. Example: If you're looking for a large round corn crib - normally found only in Iowa or Nebraska - to make into a unique gazebo for your yard (like those you see in Country Living magazine), Eva will probably have it... or can get it. And more than likely, you will have a large and excellent variety of choices of whatever it is you are looking to find. Have you ever seen a wooden Hill Country German cookie mold? Me either!
