Very messy sloppy with meds all over the buildings... I had taken picture. Shipping animals out of state that arent fitted right with the family's. And no refund.Not good with co workers very self centered when co work family's having medical problems... mixing dogs that dont get along.. she keeps certain breedsthats she likes. State pays for her personal dogs as well. Tax right off and just sad and messy..

I would recommend this place for working and visiting. This is heaven. They take really good care of their dogs and employee's. If your ever looking for a forever pet this would be the place. Please look them up. They have all kinds of sweet loving dogs there.

This out of state rescue adopted a dog to my mom and family sight unseen. I learned my my mom went through the process but at that point it was too late. Poor dude was fearful of men and wanted to kill the cat. Per contract my mother asked to return him after almost a month of trying to get him to fit into home. He was described as nervous but ok with men and cats. Absolutely not the truth he wanted to kill the cat and hated men. This “rescue” claimed they would refund adoption fee minus transport fee. Now they refuse, furthermore are claiming to press animal abuse charges because dog was freaked out by my step dad returning. I have worked with dogs 25+ years, this place is a scam and is just looking to place dogs probably for money. Adopt from local rescues that have you meet dogs with all family members and other pets. Furthermore when I contacted this rescue questioning their practices they sent my mother an email about how “nasty” I was. I was not nasty at all and even thanked them.

Please stop sending dogs from Texas to wA state. we are overcrowded here and local rescues are not gewtting there dogs adotped. You are not making sure the adopters are good fits, you are not taking back dogs that are not working in their new homes. new adopters are not being thoroughly vetted and amny of the dogs you are adopting are winding up in western wa. shelters. if you cannot be thorough then you are not saving lives. they will go to abusers or if people are not getting a dog that fits your description they will re-dump them back into a shelter or Euthanize. have a plan in palce to take back the dogs OR do not send them to our state, we have enough of our own dog issues here.

Pat is a skilled, experienced and loving manager at A Doggie 4 You. She works tirelessly to obtain funds to treat the dogs and prepare them for future homes. She and her staff, mostly volunteer, socialize the animals to get them ready for their forever homes. Each adopted animal has all vaccinations. They place so many animals every year.

Very caring rescue. Clean kennels. I was so amazed that with the number of pups, there were no bad smells or flies. The pups were well cared for. Shots were current and the pups are on preventive meds.
