New store manager doesn't know what he is doing. I've heard him talking down and being outright disrespectful to his employees several times. I will never visit this store again until they get a new manager and start treating employees better.Prices are way to high too. At this point, everyone would be better off shopping at the newly remodeled dollar general right next door

Brookshire Brothers!!! Not "Brookshire's".I wish Brookshire Brothers would come to NW Louisiana! We had one in my home town almost all my 60 years.Folks here are always pleasant and helpful. Fast in and out. Best stop on US HWY 96!!See y'all next trip through!

Brookshire Brothers Express in Pineland, Texas is the sorriest excuse of a grocery store in Texas. Its appearance, smell, quality and rat problem is what I would imagine a third world market to be. There is absolutely no daily cleaning being done. Meat, produce and dairy freshness is questionable. Management has been made aware and there has been no changes made. The deli area is an absolute disaster. There is no accountability in this store. The management is not reinforcing any cleanliness inside the store or on her busted, less than fresh staff. Employees are smoking cigarettes at the entrance. They have absolutely no regard for themselves much less the public OVERspending their money there. It’s a very small community with that location being their only option for fresh foods and BB is just taking a dump on them. It’s disrespectful to the brand and the community. DO BETTER, THE PEOPLE OF PINELAND DESERVE BETTER.

The food is usually pretty good. My husband loves the catfish. But the burgers are hit or miss if they are cooked. We get burgers once a week, and while last week's burger was perfection on a bun, this week's burger is raw. Raw is a common occurence and at 110 burgers for this house a year it's just a numbers game on when BBE sends us to the ER. And yet, we still eat them.

The fruit is always moldy and the vegetables are always squishy. You're also going to pay double the price you'd pay in town. Just go on to Jasper or Hemphill.

Brookshires is awesome. You can take your time or you can be johnny quick. Everyone that works there is great, friendly and very helpful. Prices are compatible with everyone else and and store is very clean.

Employees are friendly, the store is nice and kept clean. This place tends to stay busy but, the employees are pretty good at keeping things moving so you're in and out fairly quick. Surprisingly they have a large variety of beers to choose from for being a small store in a small town. It's gas prices are competitively one of the cheapest around. It goes back and forth between this establishment and the Brookshire Brothers in Hemphill. You can also buy hunting and fishing licenses here along with some fishing lures, baits and gear. The fishing supplies they have are located at the front of the store (directly beside the entrance) on a pegboard/shelf about 6ft wide.

The place is handy people are friendly maybe to friendly. We line up with only one checker and I’m guessing people of management standing around talking as bad as Walmart with the lines I have better things to do than stand in line while the employees stand around visiting. Mangers problem not the employees poor management is my opinion

Prices are equal to any other Brookshires. They really have everything a grocery store has. Dairy section, meat section, freezer section, bait, ice, some fishing supplies! Deli is great too! Employees are nice.

I never leave reviews. But as soon as we left here I knew I would. Guy behind the deli counter was awesome. Made us hot fresh wings without us even asking. He practically had to make us take the fresh ones. (We said we would just take the ones that were already made) They were made while we grabbed the maybe 5 items we had to grab. So quick!! His tag said "Jay Berry."The lady at the counter cracked jokes with us too. I unfortunately didn't catch her tagHusband and I both remarked how friendly they were and wish they were like this at our local Brookshire Brother's.

I was having the worst day!!! Debit card broke ran out of gas no stores near me would take a check. I was a hour late for work during all this, I called Brookshire Brothers Express it was last store I could find. They take checks and the cashier was so friendly and helpful her attitude made my bad day a little less stressful I had never stopped there before but I will now it’s funny to see how someone else having a good attitude and friendly smile can change your bad mood with smallest gesture.

Convenient gas station and grocery store with tasty hot meals inside. Staff has always been friendly and professional. Not 5 stars because the parking at the entrance doors and everywhere else instead of the open parking spots around the store is a health and fire hazard. So disrespectful and unsafe.

What a nice well stocked FRESH produce grocery in a very rural area. It was a true surprise. So often in these very small micro towns the grocery is really quite awful....however that is not the case for B& B Brookshire Brothers is a plethora of variety. They may not have 20 of an item but 5 of 5 different choices. They have thier finger on the pulse of grocery retail. Way to go, if I see another B&B I am making a stop. Good stuff.

Small grocery store in a small town. This brand is a chain with larger stores in larger places but this 'Express' version has limited space and choices, though much more than a convenience store. They have baked goods, produce, frozen foods, gasoline, etc. It's OK for essentials and you'd have a long drive to something larger.

Oh my goodness I’m new in the area I live in Brookleland but went to San Augustine to clean a house and on my way back I stopped by what I thought was only a small grocery store was I ever surprised it’s much more than that the deli is awesome the workers are all so nice and courteous and definitely welcomed us to the area this will be my normal stop when I come that way to clean

There's a mask notice on the door. Do they not know how to put health ahead of money. The food there was terrible. The severs did not wear their mask properly. Only the lady at check out wore her mask and was polite.

Employees need to smoke somewhere besides the front entrance. Cigarette smoke gets on your clothes when you walk in. Need to move break area to the back of the store.Need to clean the fountain drink machine and coffee area. Black mold on the ice machine.Pineland B&B Express.Thank you for addressing these matters.
