We adopted two Great Pyrenees/mix, male and female, about a month ago. Miles of Hope was very helpful and supportive. It was tough to bring home only two.

We had a wonderful experience with Miles of Hope. We adopted our dog Max about two weeks ago. He is just as described by our adoption group (except a little larger in person). Max has a fabulous temperament and is very affectionate. He was fully vetted so all we needed was combined heartworm plus flea & tick preventative. For a lost stray he was in surprisingly good health. He still needs to put on a little weight but everything else checked out at his vet. Max fits in well in our home and makes us laugh on a daily basis. We have a large backyard for his zoomies. He chases his tail, runs around in his make believe race track and at times it looks like he’s doing somersaults. I highly recommend Miles of Hope.

These guys seem to truly love all the animals. We adopted a pit mix dog and he is the SWEETEST, loving guy. They even sent a leash and collar with us that I’m taking back to them tomorrow. We went to look, but had looked at several shelters before and didn’t come prepared this time. I know they operate on donations so those are surely going back.Very happy with the experience here.

Highly recommend this Charity Group. It takes a passion for animals to run something this big.I liked them so much I may even volunteer some time to go and give the 100's of pups some love when I can!

True animal welfare professionals! Call for an appointment and then get to sit in a play area and interact with dogs. Also, plenty of cats!

I adopted my girl back in November and am so happy! I had a goldendoodle of 8.5 years that died in October from cancer. I was devastated, but I soon realized how lonely I was. I wasn't planning on bringing a dog into my home, but I drive by an adoption event at the local petco and I got an incredibly strong feeling to turn around. An adoption volunteer introduced me to Artemis who was Haven at the time. She was incredibly sweet and curious, but left without her. I reached out to the rescue and they suggested to schedule a time to meet her again. Long story short I brought her with me. She's incredibly sweet and smart. I adore her and will continue to give her the best home I can. Thank you for my girl.

I absolutely love my dog Lila(h) but I am a bit annoyed that Petfinder listed her as a young dog age 3, the people at Miles of Hope told me she's four and the veterinary paperwork that came with her says she's 5. My vet estimates her closer to 6.So yeah, I got a sweet and wonderful dog but the shelter had stuff in writing that was contrary to what was listed on Petfinder and in their own paperwork. According to the folks I spoke to, my dog had only been in the shelter for 3 months so the 3 year discrepancy is a bit bothersome.

Terrible terrible place. My father and dog have been missing. My step mom placed flyers all through Pilot Point and called all local shelters. I did as well once I was made aware of the situation. The facility said they never got a bull terrier in.My exact bull terrier was adopted through this facility to another family. HE IS CHIPPED. I’m sure it was missed when he was scanned (if he even was). This facility then “neutered” my already neutered dog (when I adopted him from Denton shelter where they fix and chip dogs before sending them out!!)Why was I not contacted??? It’s only right for the family that now has him to be told the TRUTH so that this dog can be returned to its original owner!!!

I had a cat named Jr 7 years ago. When nobody was home he stopped his truck on my land and took my cat when he thought nobody was looking but I caught him stealing my cat on Google maps camera. He will steal your pet and ethunize them then cremate. For years I was wondering where he went then I saw him on camera. Watch out for your pet because he will take them without you noticing it.

This organization funding All American Dogs Shelter is a Godsend to people within 17 counties who do not have a local shelter to go to when in an animal crisis, emergency or other critical issue with a dog (whether found, abandoned, or your own). They were an answer to prayer during my family's dog needs and the people who work for them have their own special set of Angel Wings, truly blessings from God! It was a very emotional time & the gentleman in his orange Miles of Hope shirt stood patiently, telling me to take all the time I needed, offered to take last pictures, consoled me, allowed me to carry the dog, hold her a little bit longer, cry & when I was finally able to put her into the truck, he still stood back until I had said & kissed my final, final goodbye. He himself was a Mile of Hope for my family & our beloved dog. Please donate, volunteer, and most of ADOPT, don't shop for your next best friend!

Staff is so friendly and helpful. The city picked up my dog that dug out of our yard. I rushed to pick him up but was an hour away. They stayed open for me to get there and were very kind to me when I arrived.

The man who answered the phone was very rude an very unprofessional. Called us a liar on where we found this dog an claimed Noah’s ark made us tell them that which was very much not what happen. Also told us two different fees to be able to leave this dog. Very unprofessional guy!
