Few months ago i was in need of a ceiling fan so an acquaintance by the name of Mario Salinas advised me he would help me out if i went to his store. I showed up and his idea of a "discount" was to cut open the box and walk me to the cash register where he told the cashier i found the box that way and wanted to take it anyway. She complied and i received a discount. I then told him i was under the impression he had a coupon or sale or something and he seemed to get aggitated & frustrated and asked me to just go put it in my car. I dont understand how this store keeps employees who do this or how this benefits the store in any way. Needless to say i left the store in aww and he advised me that he learned the trick from other employees. Not a very good attitude for customer service.

The Pharr location of this store provides exceptional customer service. The employees consistently go the extra mile to fully assist customers. I want to express my gratitude to Mario, Alex, and Janie for their outstanding efforts in helping me acquire a Christmas decoration. Although the online app indicated the item was available, it turned out to be out of stock. Despite this discrepancy, they diligently checked their inventory and, upon confirming the item was indeed sold out, they went above and beyond by offering to sell me the display model. I ended up purchasing it, and their proactive and customer-focused approach made all the difference. I initially visited the North McAllen location, but unfortunately, they were not as helpful. Their response was limited to stating, 'if it's not down there, then we don't have any".

Horrible employees bad items most of them were broken things windows , tools, etc. just make the trip to the mission Home Depot way better experience only reason im here writing this review is because a female employe said something disrespectful

In here for an hour asked for assistance like 4 times already and still waiting. Need to have some wood trims cut and they have called someone to come and cut the trims over the intercom 3 times. Might have to talk to the store manager on this!

Asked for help loading 36 osb asked for forklift a couple of times had to load them myself other cutomers were helping me sincea i was struggling and employees did not bother help, employees that were outside supposedly loading were talking and on phones very bad customer service

2nd time here...waited a looong time for help, which never came, we left, returned 4 days later (now)...currently waited 25 minutes and counting for help with blinds...they called so eone 3 times...front desk and manager don't answer the phone....27 minutes and counting now....

Worst customer service experience I ever had I rather go to the one closest to edinburg, but they were out of smart siding for windows. I took it all, so I had to come here. The rest of the material I need, I'll get it at the one in edinburg

I came here because I am disabled and needed a cart and lowes did not have one. I will not be coming back though. Not only did they have limited selection for tiles but the bathroom was absolutely disgusting!Toilet paper everywhere, trash cans full of used toilet paper, kids underwear on the floor. I felt like throwing up. Got my paint samples and left. I will not be back.

Waited 30 minutes in the appliance area. Not one employee showed up. Went to customer service, manager on duty said " its one of those days" and walked off. As a former retail employee for 23 years, our manager taught us to know all parts and assist in all parts of the store. Customer service was bad.

My husband and i went in to buy a weed eater and Mario the associate in garden was so helpful to us. It was a pleasant investment until it was time to pay where we were assisted by an older lady who was very rude and had very poor customer service skills. If customer service is not what she enjoys she should find another line of work. Questioning whether to go back to this store.

Both of these locations here in McAllen are sorely lacking on decent management and courteous employees. They never gather the carts and have them in the store. Neither location. Yesterday, I had to follow a guy to his truck and help him unload to be able to even have a lumber cart. I'm in these stores everyday and I have been treated like I'm stealing at both locations every time I'm in there. You cant ever get to the contractor loading area it has been blocked off all week. My company spends millions at home depot every year and I have been all over the country and these locations have been the worst experiences I have had to date. I'm glad Lowe's treats there customers a lot better here. So that is where I will go for the next 2 weeks while I'm in town working.

I recently discovered this particular store and it is amazing. Hats off to the management team for putting a great culture in place. Very helpful employees, a clean and organized store, and a very pleasant place to shop. Well done.

average. if u have time and if you are buying large material like drywall or plywood make sure you bring someone to help you. and they always have just 2 cashiers open and then the auto pay but takes too long. as always if you look for someone they are never nearby like lowes so i recommend you to get the home depot app and there you can scan the bar code and it'll tell the price. also in the app ypu can search what you are looking for and there will tell you how many if there is any on the shelve also it will tell you the location as in what hallway and shelve location. no need to look for a non existing worker.

Customer service is horrible. You have to run after the eployess to flag one down cause they pretend not to see you. When you finally get their attention, they help you with a horrible attitude. What happened to Home Depot they used to have qualified employees?!? They also do not have anything worth it in stock. You have to go to other locations to find anything other than nuts, bolts & cleaning supplies. Any other Home Depot location has the more qualified employees.

one thing i dont like when im shopping is when nothing has a price tag i went to 2 mager plant nursery in or around alamo tx and not one thing was priced makes me feel they give you a price on how much money you look like you have i was so frustrated and remembered. the home depot everything i wanted i found it at HOME DEPOT where everything had a tag and i paid a fraction of the amount they wanted to charge me at those nursery places.HOME DEPOT you are my need to go place for all my home and gardening

The one in Pharr is the worst. It used to be that they actually had men employees that could help you with any of your home improvement questions. Now they have little boys that don't know their left from their right. One of them even told me they don't cut wood at that store and left with a grin. I asked the next employee, walking around who did it for me. I don't know if Home Depot got these kids due to budget cut , but Pharr store needs to reevaluate ALL their staff. I will never again go back. I have heard other customers who have cringe stories as well and have walked out taking their money elsewhere. The HOME DEPOT stores in Weslaco or Mission has way better customer service. Better experience. Plus, the store is more equipped. You have to order everything worth it online in Pharr location. Bad experience , worst customer service.

Came here to make a return and was told they couldn’t do it that their policy didn’t let them without a receipt. I requested a store credit and they denied it. I wouldn’t be making a review if their policy said otherwise but it states that a receipt-less return gives you store credit but the associate their didn’t care to acknowledged that. I’m sure Lowe’s would of handled it better.

I purchased 48 boxes of tile and had them delivered, three of the boxes broke during shipment, Jorge at the returns desk was incredibly helpful even went to get them and put them in a cart for me.Clearly above and beyond, great customer service.

I had cement pallets delivered. Four of the bags were ripped and spilled all over my driveway. So the driver made note of it and told me to call in and they would be able to help me. They put me on hold for 25 minutes and then hung up on me. Terrible customer service
