We have the best time each time we go to Great Escapes! We love the water park and all the amenities. Our favorite part is the activity center and Miss Judy! Every time we come, the activity center always has the best themes and fun activities for the kids. This time we attended the 50s sock hop, tie dyed shirts, sang karaoke, played candy bar bingo, made slime, and went on many train and hay rides. Our girls love Miss Judy and she is one of the main reasons we come back. We can’t wait to be back in a month!

We love great escapes!! The sites are always clean and well taken care of. The staff is so friendly. But a huge shout out goes to Ms. Judy who handles all the activities. Ms. Judy really makes great escapes and she's a big reason as to why we always return. Thank you all for treating us like family! Our kids are always so happy and excited!

We had so much fun with all the amazing things to do! We stayed busy all day every day! The staff was absolutely amazing! Top Notch! And they make their own home made ice cream! Rent a golf cart and go from pool to pool, splash pad etc etc. We took our Boston terrier and he had so much fun! We will definitely be back! And we will bring more people and grands with us ❤️😎🏊

This is a great family place to visit and stay. Both years we have had zero complaints. The entire place is well kept and clean. The staff is amazing! Due to cooler weather we utilized the "Activities Center" more this year. Jodi at the Activities Center helped us have an enjoyable and memorable time from answered questions, to fun indoor activities, to wagon rides day and evening, to "train" rides, to photo oops with Biscuit the mascot. She went out if her way to help us be entertained. We will be back a third time.Noteworthy details: This is a great family place for all ages. The staff was always polite and helpful. The entire place is clean and the public restrooms are extremely clean.

We had the most delightful weekend. The staff were extremely friendly even though it was probably an incredibly busy weekend for them, they were patient and kind. The activities they had planned were so fun and family friendly. The grounds were well kept and the bathrooms were clean. The camp store is well stocked and check in was so smooth and easy. We love kicking off our summer each Memorial Day weekend at Great Escapes RV Park!!! ♥️

Our family(cousins, aunts, uncles, and grandparents) had a huge camp out here. It was our first time staying here. The activities director, Jodi, is who made our stay so fun. She greeted us and our kids with a smile every morning. She and her crew led fun crafts, train rides, glow rides, and truly memorable moments while we were there. We appreciate you Jodi! We will see you next summer!!!!

This place was awesome!! Our 2 kids 16&12 had a great time swimming and all the other activities they had setup throughout the week . Great Escapes has daily activity to keep you busy, along with other things like mini golf course. The staff here were very friendly and helpful!! We spent 4 nights here and new to the trailer adventures. Site 204 was a very nice site . No shade but, you get a big field to the left of you for the kids to play football in and just across from the pool!! We will definitely be back . Thank yall!

2022:We stayed during Spring Break 2022. We brought our camper and were happy with the price because we are used to paying quite a bit more for JellystonePark in Kerrville. This place is smaller, but has most of the same amenities and activities. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They made my kids feel welcome and worked hard to make sure they had a great time. The park is constantly adding things and if I had any recommendations it would be to open some sort of food sales like a pizzeria and to also have an adult beverage spot. Overall we were absolutely satisfied with our stay and we will definitely be back to this resort!2024:My family still absolutely loves this place. Miss Judy, who is in charge of the activities for the kids, was truly amazing. She made the whole trip for us because of the way she catered to our kids. The park looked great again and was very clean. All activities were in working order including the Wibit park and water park. Mid March is a little early to have both of them up and running because of the weather, but they were. They have plenty of brand new lithium battery golf carts that look great and make it easy to get around the park. They have added a pizzeria since my last post. We will be yearly regulars at this resort for sure.

We stayed this last weekend and we had fun at the park. The staff is amazing, very friendly and helpful. The amenities are great and they had lots of fun activities for our friends younger kids. The only reason I did not give this park a 5 is because the spots are close together and they need to do a better job of cutting back the trees. We paid for a premium pull through spot and couldn’t get our RV into it because the tree on the corner of the spot is growing at a weird angle, making it almost impossible to get into the spot with a 5th wheel. We had to pull through the empty spot behind us to get into our spot because of the tree. Luckily there was no one in that spot. Overall it is a nice park, next time we’ll upgrade to the deluxe site all the way on the other side with barley any trees.

We had a great time despite the continuous rain! The staff was amazing and made sure we were well taken care of!Rooms: Was a great size for our family and had most of everything we needed, the fridge was small with not really a freezer but still fit most of our food.Nearby activities: Activity center was great for the kids and can’t wait to come back for more activities, very helpful to keep the kids entertained while it was raining!Walkability: Wasn’t a bad walk from where we were campingFood & drinks: Pizza was good

Check-in was good. The store is very limited in RV supplies. Mostly Park Tees and such.It was very hot 106 degrees. Our site had Zero Shade. There are shady sites. I would suggest trying to get one of those. We never had enough water pressure to shower. I complained but did not seem to make any difference. The standard reply was that they must be filling the pools. I went to the pool and never saw them adding water.Limited food. Bring your own. Burgers in a food truck and pizza in the building. And a few items in the store. The site is too big not to have some sort of transportation.Internet was spotty. First day, none of the 4 of us could access. I rented a box for better internet. That failed. They said they would send someone out. That never happened. I returned the box for a full refund. The activities are all pay to play except the pools and splash pad.Lastly, Sunday has very little support. No concessions or food truck. The store and pizza are open. The kids had fun. For us, it was and ok stay but a one time thing.Recommend they work on customer support and infrastructure. The staff were all very helpful. I feel bad when they keep saying I am sorry.

We had fun because we went with a group of friends and the place had plenty to keep the kids entertained but my God they almost ruined it for me blasting the radio at the water park from like 7am till 9pm. We not only had to hear the radio with commercials but these crazy horns every 5 mins that made me feel I was going crazy. It was hard to keep a conversation and our sites were across from the water park which meant we heard them nonstop all 5 days we were there. I asked at least 3 times for them to turn it down and I either got ignored or told how they could turn it down but not turn off, why? I have no clue. The ants were a problem as well. Wouldn’t take much to treat the sites for that. Overall it was ok but not worth the price in my opinion.

We stayed for the first time this past weekend based on recommendations from a RV group on Facebook. We were looking for Christmas themed activities to do with our 10 year old and they did not disappoint. Ms. Judy was incredibly helpful and great with the kids; the sweetest! She had an array of activities planned that even mom and dad enjoyed. Snow Time Like Christmas was memorable thanks to Ms. Judy, Mrs Claus, Santa, and the rest of the staff. The weekend has our 10 year old asking if we can come back in the summer and next Christmas (dad wants to come back too for Halloween). Thanks for a great weekend! Planning our return.

It is an awesome thing that have going out here. I came on a marriage retreat thing with our church group. I didn’t come with expectations. There is a lot to do. I stay super busy all the time, and from my perspective if you just idle back relax and settle in you can have a great time. Turn your phone off and just get involved with the atmosphere. I think it helps to come with a group of friends, but as a single or couple you can have a great relaxing time. You can make it without a golf cart, but it’s really nice and fun to have. All the staff we encountered were very nice and friendly. There was no one that made it seemed strict or hard to have fun. I wanted to recognize one staff member Kieth. That is one hard working man, and has a great attitude doing so. I give it 5 stars. They had to make their own environment being in a rural area. There is no near attractions to feed off of. I will come back.

Just stayed for the first time. We stayed for a long weekend and the park was great! Kids and adults both had fun. The staff was friendly and everything was clean. The obstacle course on the lake was a blast. It costs extra but in all fairness they provide a lot for the nightly stay and I understand as a business you can only absorb so much cost. The only thing I would change is to disconnect the horn that honks all the time at the water park. This place is awesome! We will be back.

The staff at the check in not so nice or helpful , there is also an older lady that rides around on a golf cart lives in I believe site 57 awful she is mean !!!!!!! But other than that the time there was wonderful we had lots of fun the grandkids loved it .i will be going Back for sure but that mean lady needs to be kid friendly and SHE is NOT , yes teenagers do stupid things and I would absolutely expect her to enforce the rules but the way she talk to them very UNPROFESSIONAL……..

We were here last year during construction and we came back this year after everything was complete and open & it’s very nice and the kids really loved the waterpark and the obstacle course! However , I did notice the staff was DEFINITELY not as friendly as last year and mostly a younger crew who are obviously just here to collect a paycheck and do not care about the visitors! The older staff were very helpful & friendly!! Overall … had great fun and such a nice place!! :)
