I broke down in pecos and no one in town wanted to fix my truck. All the other mechanics in town told me they were 2 weeks backed up. Then a mechanic I called told me to call these guys. Told me they were the best in town. I was stuck at a truck stop. The even came out to me in the pouring rain and fixed my truck in like 20 minutes . Pecos River came out on a Saturday when no others would, ran to Odessa to pick up an air compressor for me, fabricated a new supply line and saved my bacon!! Rate charged was more than fair for a weekend roadside call out, and though I don't speak any Spanish the mechanic sent did a great job and was extremely fast!!10/10 would use again and will recommend to any of my driver friends!

So,we were traveling from Kelso WA to Sulphur Springs TX when my serpentine belt shredded. Limped into Pecos and called Pecos River mechanics. What a life saver. Replaced the belt and the idler pulley which was seized up. Got us back on the road to our destination. Thanks guys

We were in the middle of nowhere when our car's alternator broke down. Barely able to make it to their shop, they took us in right away, helped us get the parts we needed, and fixed everything for a low price. They saved our trip and we could not recommend them highly enough.

These guys are great. I had a trailer issue over the weekend and called them for help. They said the could get to me in an hour and were there in 50 minutes. I was up and rolling 30 minutes after they got to me.If I'm ever in the area and need help I know who to call!!!

My truck broke down on my trip from Ft Worth to Ensenada Mexico in Pecos. The transmission gave out and I had to leave the truck and fly to my destination and the missionary event that awaited. I left the truck for two months in the hands of very decent and good-hearted people. The transmission was fixed, and different hoses and parts were also repaired. Marlon went above and beyond to make sure that the truck would not break down again. The truck was full of chairs, luggage, and many personal items. EVERYTHING was intact. Nothing was touched. They were always very professional, honest and made this hectic ordeal and very nice experience. We highly recommend their work and their good character.

A light turned on in our car while driving through Marfa. Stopped in Ft. Davis to find a mechanic. Come to find out there is not a mechanic in sight. They are all closed on Sundays. (Very inconvenient) Found this shop in pecos through google, (the only shop open) called, and they were very friendly and took their time to go into detail of the problem. They said they could see us; we drove in, they took their time to help us and take a look at the car. Very professional experts. Now that’s service! Highly recommend!

Came out and had my truck fixed on the spot in a couple of hours. Reasonable priced as well. Will definitely use again in the future if needed.Update: Ran into issues a few days after service while at work. Couldn't get truck to shop so they offered to drive over an hour and haul it to their shop to repair and never asked for any more money. Highly recommend

These guys were very helpful and honest. I called and asked for price on oil change and ccv filter which I had the parts and they were more than willing to accommodate me right away on labor. Our truck was having loss of power while accelerating. With our Canadian plates and our French accent, we were easy target for mechanics.Marlon and his guys found the issue in few minutes, got new spark plugs and installed them quickly.Price was good. I really recommend this mechanics.

Our Ford F150 thermostat was going out as we were traveling cross country. After several unsuccessful attempts to find a mechanic that could work on gas vehicles and replace it, we found Pecos River Diesel an Gas. These guys are awesome. We worked through our language barriers, they replaced the thermostat and we were back on the road.

On a trip from LA to Houston we broke down at a rest stop and the owner and one of his guys drove an hour to where we were and our problem turned out to be a lot more than we thought and they took the time to fix everything enough to get us to our destination at an amazing price. They were honest and didn’t try to add on to the service to get money out of us. Highly recommend I wish I could give more than 5 stars

They worked on my ram 3500 diesel. The communication was more challenging as most the guys there only spoke Spanish. Don't expect typical autoshop experience they get work the work done, but there was no invoice, I had to locate my parts, and there was no itemized bill only an amount to be paid by zelle, venmo, etc if you want to avoid 4% credit card surcharge.

This was the only place in the area that said they could do an emergency repair on my RV immediately. The first attempt didn't fix the problem so it ended up taking over 24 hours, but it got fixed in the end at a very reasonable price. Just be prepared, they don't really have a customer waiting area so you probably want to find somewhere to hang out while they work.

Broke down late on Thursday night. After some Google research and some back and forth with my company, we called on Pecos River to come tow the truck to his shop.True to his word, Marlon the owner,had his guys working on the truck Friday morning. Friday evening he was in Odessa picking up the part needed for my truck. Saturday they installed it, checked it and test drove the truck to make sure the issue was fixed.Early Saturday afternoon I was back on the road. 😁Marlon is a top notch guy to desk with.Honest and keeps his word. House shop does fast, good quality work.If ever I need something and I'm anywhere close to that area, Pecos River will be my first call

Can’t speak highly enough of these guys! We broke down and got dropped off at a different mechanic around 10pm on Monday. The mechanic we were dropped at said he wouldn’t be able to get to it until next Tuesday, so Pecos River drove over to the other mechanic. When he wouldn’t let them work on the car on his property they drove it back to their shop for us, had it ready by 230 Tuesday afternoon, and then brought it back to us because we couldn’t get an Uber to their shop. Our total cost for moving the car, labor, and parts to replace an alternator was $300. Thankful we ended up breaking down near such a helpful mechanic!
