Updated Review:My Yorkie will be 6 months this month. She is doing great!! The more time that goes by since I purchased her, the more happy I am that I chose Yorkies of Houston. My dog is super social and sweet with other dogs and humans. When I got my puppy I received a puppy package with her, which was awesome! I almost purchased a mixed dog, being advertised as a purebred Yorkie by another breeder, for close to 5000. I am so grateful I stumbled across Yorkies of Houston before I made a tragic mistake. They were so thoughtful that they even upgraded my carrier bag for free as a wedding gift! I love Yorkies of Houston and I totally recommend this place to everyone who wants a positive experience purchasing a Yorkie. 💕🐶Old Review:Great set up! Very welcoming! Yorkies of Houston provided a very healthy puppy that we are happy to have as part of our family. We were able to see both parents and the super clean home environment where our baby was kept with his mama. We were sent photos every week until it was FINALLY time to pick him up. I appreciated that they took time to teach us about his care and common early issues so we were informed when we went home. I do wish that they expanded their med check from 3 days post pickup to 7-10 days, only because it meant we had to do 2 vet checks in a one week time since he was due for shots the following week. I understand that they are tiny babies and extra vet checks aren’t a bad thing, but extra stress the first few days in a new home is rough. Our Charlie Brown is doing excellent and we are so pleased to have him. Yorkies of Houston also provided virtual training with an excellent trainer. The training was at the perfect developmental time too. We felt we got good value for our money and YoH made sure we were well equipped to care for our newest addition. We love himSo much!

This was our first time purchasing a puppy from a breeder and we really had no idea what to expect. What we got was wonderful customer service from beginning to end. Ekiria walked me through the whole process, always answering any questions in a timely manner. She was compassionate and kind and I always felt like I was dealing with a friend and not just a business. Our puppy, who we named is Kenji is healthy, smart and really funny. Already he is the star of the family and center of attention. Not only do they breed the most special dogs but that make sure you leave with everything you could think of for your first days home. We didn't have to purchase a thing. And they also sell puppy accessories which has come as a huge bonus. If you're currently considering getting a puppy from Yorkies of Houston, do it! You'll be so happy you did.

I'm late writing this review, but let me tell you, we had a wonderful experience with the entire team at Yorkies of Houston. There was a bit of misunderstanding initially on which puppy we picked, but Ekiria was quick on accommodating our request. They were even accommodating in my pick up hour as I had to change a week prior due to school orientation. The communication was great, receiving weekly pictures of our little boy Cruz. We even had video chats with our puppy to keep us and the staff safe during Covid. We received so many puppy goodies when we picked him up. A pet carrier, playpen, puppy pads, puppy food, vitamins, toys, clothes, shampoo, hair brush, microchip, paperwork, vet records, and even a puppy camera to keep an eye on him. Our little boy is thriving and living it up with our other fur baby Charliee. He is healthy, full of energy and too smart for his own good. He is our little wild child, daredevil, but is the sweetest little thing ever. We are looking to grow our little tribe by two more so we will definitely be returning to Yorkies of Houston.

Best decision I've ever made! This is THE place to get your yorkie puppy. I recently purchased my new baby Naya from them and she is so sweet and completely healthy.Ekiria and her team are very caring, attentive and pleasant.When I bought my puppy, they offered me a free package that includes puppy blanket, puppy bed, puppy care guide, registration, microchip, bowls, potty pads, shampoo, toys, food, medical records, wipes, etc.I highly recommend Yorkies of Houston!!

We couldn’t be happier with our Yorkie, Dexter. He was clearly well socialized at just 8 weeks old and had already been introduced to potty pads. When we picked him up, he was so loving and energetic, and he used the potty pad during our appointment…Wow!We’ve had Dexter since May 7, 2021 and he is 98% potty trained at just 4 months old. The only time he has an accident is when he gets really fired up during playtimes. He gets fired up a lot - so much fun - but the accidents are rare. He’s a great traveler and really good with our grandbabies and cat. He’s really been just the perfect little boy for us! We love him so much and would refer anyone to Yorkies of Houston. So very impressed and beyond satisfied!

On the 21st of this month I purchased a puppy from Yorkies Of Houston for $7000.48 hours after we had her home we realized she was deaf. She also has a malocclusion severe & no bottom teeth.72 hour mark I contacted the breeder & she told me platinum white yorkies are quirky, sleep hard and ignore owners.That same day I got my girl into my vet who confirmed that she's deaf and has the mouth issues.I sent the results to the breeder and she began attacking me claiming my vet is uneducated in exotic yorkies and he gave me a bogus diagnosis because he knows I can afford it. She also stated she'd be sending her legal team my way.I emailed her back letting her know that was ridiculous and please do send the legal team my way.This is when she attacked my family by making fun of my sons teeth, my husband's teeth and my weight. Saying "I'm a good person because I didn't call you fat and tell you to get cosmetic surgery with your money. ""Are your sons teeth straight? They can't be if your husband is his father."One of my girls litter mates new mom came forward & her puppy is also deaf!Today we got the BAER test done at CSU and she is confirmed bilateral deafness.We have an appointment with CSU on the 16th for her mouth.Please avoid this breeder at all costs.

This is our second purchase from Yorkies Of Houston. We have nothing but amazing things to say about the breeder. We purchased our first puppy “Rabbit” last year. We never had an issue health wise or anything else with our puppy.We purchased our second puppy “Legend” just a few weeks ago. Every experience has been amazing from the buy to picking him up. When you arrive she has this peaceful vibe about her. She is very welcoming and humble. Even though we had purchased a puppy before she still walked us through everything.When we first brought Legend home he was very calm and just wanted to give a lot of kisses. By the third day he knew that he was home. She called to check on him and to see if we needed anything. Maybe it’s just us but it seems as if her puppies come to us potty trained. We have never had to go through the whole training experience for long. He has been with us only 2 weeks and we are loving him so much.We most definitely recommend Yorkies Of Houston to everyone. We will be purchasing another puppy in the future. We are grateful and humbled by each experience.

The owner of this company or whoever she is, is the most disrespectful person. If you upset her in anyway, she will start to call you out your name and everything. Very unprofessional to be a business owner. Every low star rating review the have on here they try to say the person got the wrong business and never purchased a puppy from them or contacted them. They only say that because they don’t want to look bad. Do business with them and you’ll see what all the low star ratings are talking about.

Don't need to be a customer, just take one look at the website and youll see red flag after red flag. Dogs are registered with ACA - which holds literally no weight in terms of a solid pedigree. Dogs are unethically bred without proper health or genetic testing, producing the genetic dumpsterfires they call "exotic." This is NOT the gold standard of Yorkies. Look for breeders apart of the breed club who are AKC registered, health tested, and breed to standard regarding color, size, etc. If you want an "exotic color" find a breed who naturally comes in the color if you value health and ethics.I have seen first hand that not all your puppies are AKC registered. I made no claim as to which registry is larger, so not sure why you are commenting on that. Largest registry does NOT mean it is good. ACA does not have the same stringent requirements as AKC that guarantee purebred lineages. No one involved in reputable breeding uses this registry, as this organization does not vet breeders who register their dogs.Not ONE statement in this review is an opinion. Anyone with Google can find FACTS backing up my statements regarding ethical breeding. You do not breed "exotic" yorkies correctly. You do not properly identify if your breeding stock are merles, resulting in deaf puppies & other genetic issues.

I recently purchased a fur baby from Yorkies Of Houston! My experience was exceptional!! ☺️☺️Monique & Ekiria is the greatest when it comes to these beautiful fur babies! My baby came with lots of goodies that I didn't have to worry about buying myself. Playpen, bed, stroller, food bowel, blackets, toys, pads, food, shots, and he was potty train💕💕 during the process of waiting to get my fur baby home Monique took pictures and video calls with my new baby every week. The love and care that was shown through Ekiria and Monique is amazing☺️☺️it shows how much they love making new families happy and love what they do💞💞I have brought King “my fur baby” to come visit when I went on a family vacation for about a week and Yorkies Of Houston took good care of my little one while I was away! Yorkies of Houston is the best! They are knowledgeable and very patient. Their puppies are well cared for. I received updates and pictures through out the process. I would highly recommend them.Follow up- It’s been a few weeks since I picked up my new fur baby. The entire process was great from the beginning to the end. Ekiria and Monique were very kind and helpful. The puppy package was filled with goodie’s that made the transition to my home smoother. I would definitely use Yorkies of Houston again.

When I reach out to the Yorkies of Houston they returned my call in a timely matter. Very friendly and helpful. I was not comfortable about doing things on the computer and they worked with me. They answered all my questions no matter what time of day or night I text. I am not from Houston and they did a video chat with me to see the puppies. They talk me through the paperwork needed to hold the puppies until I could make the arrangements to get to Houston. They even brought my puppy to me. That was wonderful. They talk with me about everything I needed to do to make the transition a happy, safe one for my puppy. They have a puppy care guide, information on schedule, feeding, grooming, training, vaccinations, bathing, information of Hypoglycemia that I never heard of. I received all the things needed for my new puppy, food, bowls, shampoo, blanket, toys and carrying case and bed. They took away all the stress I had in getting a new puppy. Also she came with a microchip. Just wonderful! I was referral from a family member who brought two puppies from Yorkies of Houston and I was not disappointment. We would highly recommend Yorkies of Houston. The professionalism and knowledge is to be commended. This was our first purchase from a breeder. The experience couldn`t have been any better. When we picked our puppy up at the airport, the flight Nanny was so sweet and took the time to explain all the details, care and health of our puppy. They go above and beyond to make sure that the transition from their home to ours is absolutely flawless. The care package that they include was a great asset. It included everything was needed to care for our new puppy, she is a Blessing ! !
