Do not leave your pup here. Sadly it’s unsafe and mismanaged. We left our pup there for a week. When filling out paperwork we asked if they did pictures of the dogs to send out to the owners since they do not have cameras to watch. They advised they did and for us to fill out some forms to get the pictures. First night, no problem, picture arrived. That was the last time we received a picture. I called twice while out of town to request the pictures, sadly they never came. Upon picking up my girl I was told the form we filled out was so they could use the picture on their social media, not to have them sent to us. So I asked if they ever do send pictures to clients, to which the girl behind the counter said if requested at drop off for sure. If they can’t send pictures of your baby, even after being reminded two more times, who knows what else they are not doing. Missing meals, missing play time, missing care. Who knows, if they can’t do this simple thing, I can’t imagine the tough stuff is done at all. Won’t be back, can’t trust them with the care of my pup. The one and only picture I did get of my pup attached.

The only reason i am giving it a 1 is because of Madalyn she was beyond rude. She is almost every time i come in. She rolled her eyes and huffed and puffed when i asked to have 4 separate bags for 80 crickets giving the fact i have more than one reptile. Due better pet smart with this employee. Everyone else is perfect

They completely shaved my maltipoo down saying she was too matted but I don’t think that she was. I believe they were too lazy to brush her. They even charged an extra $20 dematting fee. She just got groomed a month ago at a different location so how was she matted to the point you had to shave her all the way to her skin! She doesn’t even look like the same dog anymore. I’m posting what she looked like before and after. Also, my family and I all agreed that she didn’t even smell fresh after the grooming service. She didn’t smell like any shampoo at all so we don’t think that they even gave her a bath! She smelled the same as she did before we took her. On top of all this, the grooming took about 4 hours 45 minutes and they didn’t give a phone call that she was ready. They just sent a text. I’m definitely finding a new groomer for her. Do not take your dog here.

Customer Service is always exceptional. To my own surprise, I've turned into an overly protective Dog Dad and some folks in my personal life make fun of it - lol. I truly am concerned, and the Groomer at Pet Smart in Pasadena really makes the uneasiness go away. If she is not there, I feel comfortable with the entire staff as they've proved that they all really care about the pets coming in as if they are their own. The level of detail and safety really shows, and I would recommend Pet Smart's service to anyone.

I recently had to return an item purchased with a combination of cash and Treats points. While the cash refund process was smooth, I was disappointed to learn that the Treats points were forfeited. It would be great if PetSmart could consider a policy where rewards points are returned to the customer's account upon return transactions. Overall, customer service was good, but I hope they can look into improving their rewards program policies.

Two Managers stepped up and helped out with getting an issue resolved with some dog food and had it delivered to my house so I didn't have to spend a couple hours driving to the other side of town.

Take my puppy here all the time. The employees at the day camp are always super nice to him and he is very excited to go. They give me the full confidence of leaving him there in their care. Wouldn’t choose any other spot then to drop him with them. It is definitely worth what you pay!

Everything is good here. The workers are nice and very helpful. The only thing I seen was not a bad thing. They might need to pull out the dead fish in the tanks. When you have your kids asking why he's not moving.

I like this petsmart location. it’s always clean and the employees are nice. I wish there were raw cat food options like freeze dried treats and more pet clothing/accessories. I got a pair of overalls for my baby and he looks so handsome in them!

Highly disappointed in a set appointment time for 12:30 to pick my furbaby up around 5pm to only have had a bath,brush, and nail/grind on his paws. Almost 5 hours for these services to only have gotten done with no haircut. PetSmart on bay area blvd would’ve gotten all of these services done in 3hours while being busy. I reconsidered and gave it another try, unfortunately I won’t be going back because my adopted shelter Yorkshire terrier is a little grumpy and warns people. Highly disappointed that PetSmart grooming has gotten so soft like the nfl nowadays.Sorry but I won’t be returning here.

Awesome selections ..I bought a Kong harness and couldn't figure out how to tighten it..and the staff was more than willing to educate me. The service is very customer focused both human and their pets which makes them stand out from the competitors!

- Way Overpriced (compared to Chewy)- Rarely more than one checkout lane open- Typical PetSmart trip will always take more than 30min- Shopping carts scattered everywhere because there’s only 2 cart racks in the entire parking lot

I took my dog to get groomed and i had excellent service from candace. My dog looked perfect i had zero complaints.She even gave my dog a cute little bow which was very appreciated.

5/5 stars specifically for Banfield. They always make sure my girls are well taken care of and I'm aware of what's going on/what's wrong. They go above and beyond to make sure me as a fur-mom understand everything, even if I feel belligerent with my questioning sometimes. I cannot recommend enough times for people to take their fur-babies to Banfield. My kitties are happy to be their guests. (They will label your babies as "bites" but truly as a precaution. My girls are feisty and we understand.)

Worst experience in 8 years of taking my 2 dogs to get groomed. They are a bunch of CROOKS for the add ons. Wanted to charge $62.00 to have my dog fermerated. This group of new employees is backed by the new grooming manager to generate revenue. They'll LOSE business faster now than generate new clients. The Store manager called me and said he backed his employees and that's fine with him ( TAKE YOUR BUSINESS ELSEWHERE ) so I will. Told him I was going to PETCO and he said fine, SOOOOOOO I will. They are only interested in your $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ NOT YOUR BELOVED BEST FRIEND AND FAMILY MEMBER

Not every manager but one whom I spoke with about a dog bed with a washable cover that wouldn't zipper back up and all I wanted was to exchange wasn't even sure about her own store policies and didn't even have enough knowledge or awareness of the situation to begin with I asked her to look at my product she refused. So I left and exchanged it at the almeda location where I will now be going to from now on anyway.

WE LOVE PARKER!! He has done an awesome job grooming my dog! Manly even gave him kisses when we walked in thats how I know he grooms him with care! We have been blessed to have good experiences at Pasadena location the groomers have all been so kind to my baby and he is actually very comfortable at this location trust me we have tried others! I’m just so grateful I had to give a review lol!

I had a wonderful experience I was looking around for a dog bed when a lady I believe her made was Miranda asked us if we needed help. She helped us out chose the perfect bed and she also took the time to do a price check even though they look extremely busy. It’s so nice to get treated with such good costumer service and to see that people care about the costumers

I’m glad other people have had better experiences here, but my god is it awful for fish. Usually chain pet stores are but I solely blame half of it on inbreeding of fish for cheaper sales, but I also blame whoever is in charge of keeping those fish healthy. Firstly, the bettas are almost always sickly looking unless they’re new. If they’re not, each one of them looks like it has a problem and I believe it’s from the lack of water changes, a heater, space, and overall the absolute bare minimum of “care”. Nevertheless, before I knew more about bettas I purchased one here not knowing how sick he was, which is why I’m here today. Bettas in chain pet stores are severely inbred and thus require extra care to keep them healthy, but it’s like some employees see them as a product rather than an actual living organism. I’ve walked in multiple times to pick up chemicals and stopped to look at the bettas and community tanks. Some fish are severely underfed, some are sick, some are dead, some have cups that are so dirty you can’t see them. What’s crazy is all this store needs is employees who care, not those just going through the motions. I’m sure so many of those bettas/fish in the community tanks would find great homes if they weren’t sickly looking, malnourished, and/or their tanks/cups actually attended to.Do better.

9/16/22 I arrived to pick up my curbside order and the old lady who came out with my order threw it in the backseat and slammed my door. No courtesy, no politeness , JUST RUDE! I gave two stars because overall my pet and I love THE STORE.
